   Arrived at the restaurant with a reservation and were told “we’re slammed it will be a minute” the waitress only came to take drink orders and after 45 minutes of waiting received said drinks, one was incorrect. Ordered food when she gave us drinks and never saw her again. Had to ask multiple waitstaff for our checks as we had been there almost 2 hours, had somewhere to be, and never even received water refills once. I’ve tried it a few times wanting to love the cool atmosphere and unique menu items, but unfortunately it is such a horrible experience. Won’t be back.

   Tupelo honey was delicious. It is a hidden gem within Indianapolis. So many great brunch options from food to drinks. My only issue was the staff was not accommodating when I asked if all 6 of us could sit together. Their restaurant was not too busy and they could have easily pushed two tables together. Instead they took our two groups of three and put us on opposite corners of the restaurant. It felt a little intentional. Tupelo Honey would have earned all 5 stars if I could have enjoyed the amazing food with all my friends. I recommend if you are a party of 4.

   This place is IMMACULATE; the food was amazing, the energy was buzzing and warm, the cocktails were light and refreshing; THE MAC AND CHEESE WAFFLES will make you curse in ecstasy !!

   I took my mom there for a little family time and was immediately welcomed and put into an amazing mood because Justin was at the door. The amazing service continued with our server Sophia. The food was great and my only request is to add sweet potatoes to the menu

   Our first experience. I didn’t care for the outside dining. Party of 6 on a park bench in gravel wasn’t my thing. The service, drinks and food were excellent and surpassed my expectations. Definitely going again but will opt for indoor dining.

   May be unpopular opinion, but my husband and I were not a fan of the Fried Green Tomatoes. They were not seasoned well in our opinion. However the Chicken and Waffle, and the Salmon and Creamy quinoa dishes made up for the underwhelming starter!

    Our waiter was good, Michael! He was over worked because they were short staffed , but he did his best . The food was ok, we wanted more of a variety to pick from . The atmosphere was inviting, inside and out .

    We were sat at a table for 15 minutes and wasn't acknowledged. After I went to hostess to find out who our server was the manager came by apologized and offered free biscuits which were still put on our bill. We let the server know and she took the bill and disappeared for another 10 minutes. I felt ignored and in the way. Food was ok not worth returning

    We went to the in in Asheville NC a few years ago ant thought it was outstanding. When the one in Indy opened we knew we had to go again and take some of our friends. It was as good if not better than we remember. Our friends loved it. Can’t wait to come back and bring our kids.

    Food is amazing!! Biscuits were too die for. Drinks were very tasty as well. Service was a little slow, but could of been staffing issues. It wasn’t something to make me not go back. Our appetizers came out before our drinks, so that was a little strange. Restaurant is beautiful inside and out. Definitely going back!!

    Second time going since my birthday and this time I went for dinner. Ordered the white chicken with macaroni & broccolini. To drink I had their ginger non alcoholic bev. I can’t remember the exact ingredients but I loved it. The chicken had bee dust which I HIGHLY recommend and it was JUICY! The macaroni definitely gave me southern vibes which I was surprised by. The broccolini was your typical sautéed broccolini with a sriracha sauce. DONT WALK- RUUUNN!!

    The ambience was perfect. The food was lacking any flavor. We had the fried chicken sandwich, baked Mac and cheese, the waffle and chicken and the cauliflower appetizer. The appetizer and Mac and cheese were good enough. The chicken was lacking flavor. My daughter enjoyed the waffle, but said she wouldn’t get it again. Service was ok. We ordered our food a certain way but neither came out correct. She didn’t care to notice or make it right. She was friendly, but seemed to care less about our order.

    Apps were good. Chicken was dry-over cooked for all 4 in our party. Got charged for an app we didn’t order. Don’t think we will go back. Music is way too loud!

    Great combination of southern favorites with a slightly new twist. The meat loaf, shrimp po'boy, greens, fried green tomatoes, mac n' cheese, grits, and potato cracklins were all tried by out table and all got rave reviews. It was a bit too breezy for outside dining, so we asked to be moved inside, and that was accomplished with ease, but we want outside next time. Yes, there will be a next time.

    Order was missing items. Drinks were nothing special , food was edible. Our server left mid dinning. The staff dropped glasses 3 times during our dining and I kid you not the lights went off… will not be seeing me again.

    This was an extremely disappointing experience. We waited for 20 minutes to have water and a total of 40 to get our drinks. The food was disappointing and the restaurant was so loud you could hardly have a conversation.

    We came for my birthday. I am not sure if they didn’t expect a Wednesday to be very busy but our waiter definitely had to many tables. We had to ask for water refills, when my food came which was brought by someone else it was cold. I advised the waiter her had to get the manager and when I came he was great. He apologized and replaced my food with hot food and came back to make sure it’s was good. It was hot but I also advised him that it lacked seasoning. My expectations were higher for the food we received not sure if we will be back but the set up was very cute. We wanted to sit outside but was told they did not have enough staff.

    Excellent fried chicken and great prices. This was my first time and We ordered biscuits for the table which were fantastic, and I got the sriracha chicken and waffles, and loved every bite. We sat at high tops in the bar area, where service was fine. The servers were leas than enthused and welcoming, but did their job nonetheless. We had multiple different servers come over to us which sounds like a Good thing but ended up being more interruptive bc a different one came every 5 mins. Otherwise, everything was great and I will definitely come back!

    The food was fantastic full of flavor and very fresh. I really enjoyed the salmon and the craklin potatoes and my partner loved the chicken and waffles and the fried green tomatoes! The lavender pomegranate mimosa was amazing as well. The atmosphere was warm and inviting but super loud as it is a Saturday night so it's all good. The service was fast and friendly the waiter was super attentive and was great at making suggestions for what we were wanting . The restroom was very clean and had no bad odor. We had a great time and will return whenever we return to school Indianapolis
