   We sat outside on a beautiful night. The only drawback was loud, off-key buskers. The staff seemed to have turned up the restaurant’s music in competition making it unfortunately loud. The service staff were great. Got our drink order and brought out drinks quickly. Food was quite good even if some of the portions were on the small side. Overall this is a solid pick and the outdoor seating is really nice in good weather. Would definitely visit again.

   Let me begin by saying that the food was good and our waiter was just fine. Beyond that, there were many problems. We arrived for our reservation at 8:15 and were told the table wasn't ready. That's fine. My wife and I have worked in restaurants and understand. We were sat at 8:45 and ordered cocktails and apps. After finishing my cocktail--maybe around 9:15--I went to the bar area to see what beers they had on draft. I was approached by the manager in a gruff tone who said, "the restaurant closes at 9". I said that I was already seated and wished to see the drink menu. He showed me how to bring it up on my phone. I then approached the bar and the bar manager growled, "the bar closed at 9, last call already happened." I told him I was sat to eat at 8:45 and he once again growled, "the bar is closed." I haven eaten all over the world and in many places in this country and have never been told that I cannot order a drink after I have been seated and in the middle of my dining experience - who stops serving alcohol when you have a restaurant full of diners? This guy was clearly not concerned about customer service nor cared at all about my experience. I counted 8 tables still eating. All without being able to order alcohol?!?! I flagged our waiter over who was very kind and offered to get me a beer. He poured it himself and then I received a "stink eye" from the bartenders through the window, As we ate our meal--they also sat multiple tables after 9--we watched the bar manager sweep, close the bar, put the stools on the bar (as tables are still eating in the restaurant--having water I presume!) and then turned the lights off over the bar. This was shocking to watch and I have never been in the middle of my meal staring at bar stools placed upside down on the bar as I ate. He and his staff then sat at a table in front of diners and rolled silverware. If you have ever worked in a nice restaurant that is something you never do in front of customers. T

   We dined during the busy graduation weekend. We had a last minute guest come and they accommodated our bigger party. The drink and food were fabulous and our server made us feel welcomed and special! We will return and recommend your restaurant again and again!

    We enjoyed the biscuits as appetizer for the table. The salmon meal was good and southern chicken too. The service was great and they took is in at our reservation time. The noise level was loud but it was graduation weekend and there was a large bachelorette party there too.

    Tupelo Honey consistently changes their menu and they have cheapened the quality of their food. While they used to have a great selection of country cuisine consisting of chicken breast and gravy with mashed potatoes, they now have something left to be desired with boneless thigh dark meat that is somewhat chewy, completely lacking the mashed potatoes with gravy. The gravy was a small drizzle. It was supposed to be smothered in gravy. May go back, may not. We are undecided at this point. Bar menu prices increased 4 fold and are just mediocre drinks.

    This is a tough review to write, as the food was good, the server was attentive, but there were a few hiccups. My wife ordered the bee dusted dark meat chicken. When it arrived, it was white meat. Not the worst thing in the world, but a shows a lack of attention. They replaced with the correct order and my wife said it was very good. She then ordered a second glass of sangria, but it never arrived. Again, a lack of attention to detail. On the other hand, I ordered the meatloaf and it was very tasty. Would we return, yes, but hopefully for a dinner without any small issues.

    Service was amazing but the food was very lackluster. The crackling’s were nothing special and the mac and cheese was extremely dry. I was surprised at how the max and cheese even looked. My husband got the Mac and cheese chicken and waffles and felt let down as well.

    We were traveling and wanted a more local experience. The food was delicious, service fantastic and friendly and the ambiance was amazing. I have already recommended it to a friend, and will definitely get to a location in Florida when they open there. Get the chicken nachos.

    The restaurant is located in the heart beat of Knoxville, Market Square. They seated us without problems and they accommodated our request not to be seated near kitchen prep areas. The service was only surpassed by the food quality.
