   We had a precious server who was so knowledgeable about the menu & was spot-on with her recommendations! I *think* her name was Claire. Mimosas were fantastic-we tried all of the flavors. Fried green tomatoes, pimento dip, Gouda grits, CRISPY BRUSSELS!!!! (Wish I had ordered double Brussels!) Thanks for a wonderful girls day out brunch!!

   Great southern comfort food. Highly recommend the fried chicken! Our waitress was quick and spot on with her recommendations! We were just in Knoxville for a night but look forward to returning here next time we come back!

    The fried Chicken has gotten very small. The coating is still tasty, but we both were still hungry after eating three tiny pieces of dark meat: two legs and a thigh. Slightly larger than a Cornish hen, but not much. We probably won’t drive and park downtown for another disappointing meal. We don’t mind the noisy atmosphere. The waitresses are always super nice and friendly!

    We celebrated my daughters 22nd bday on a Sunday afternoon. Had a reservation at 2, but wasn’t seated til after 2:30. That was the only complaint. The food and service were awesome! We definitely will be back!

    Excellent food and service. Fried chicken was great and honey taste is perfect. Shrimp and grits was a hit with my wife. Mac and cheese is a great side. High recommend. Make sure to get a reservation on the weekend.

    While it was very busy the stadd were on point. Everyone was super friendly and the meal was delicous. It was my first time getting grits in general and it was wonderful!

    Amazing brunch! Maybe the best mimosa I’ve ever had (blueberry lavender)! Fantastic chicken and waffles, fried green tomatoes, bacon and loved the Parmesan potato crisp! Will definitely come back, maybe for dinner!

    One of our favorite spots when visiting son at UTK. Absolutely love the biscuits w/honey & blueberry. Best waffles and chicken around. Also can’t leave w/out trying the banana pudding. Yum!

    Placed at a high top about five minutes after arrival and five minutes before our reservation time. Excellent server with a fabulous personality made it a great visit.

    Brunch servings were small but price was high. Food comes out slow. Server brought waters but never took a drink order. Food was all very good. One person managed to make a drink order - the rest of us drank water the whole time. One person wanted the avocado toast with a fried egg and the server said she could not provide that because the eggs benedict was not available on the computer for the server to select it as a result, this person only ate a side - no entree. the overall bill would have been much higher if that person could have had an entree and everyone at the table could have ordered the drinks they wanted like literally twice as high. I literally had not been there in years because the other times I have gone to tupelo honey in Knoxville over the years since it opened, the food has been expensive and mediocre and the service was slow. Today, our meal was actually really good (but small for the price) so that was a first. But the service was still extremely slow.

    Believe they implemented a new menu in recent weeks. Discussed with waitress/bartender and thought I clearly understood. Wanted traditional chicken and waffles. They had some spicy chicken and waffles on the menu. When it came out, the spicy chicken breast was smothered in spicy sauce and a piece on top of each waffle. I expected butter and syrup for my waffles, it didn't come with either. I ate and paid for the meal. Not at all what I expected. After discussion with the waitress, I should have asked for "traditional" chicken and waffles. How about just putting the traditional chicken and waffles on the menu? I love their waffles. I did not love my meal last night.

    My wife and I like to try new places and this was one. Reservations were made on open table, table was ready…5:30, not busy yet. Hostess was kind, server meet us right away. Service was great, food was amazing. Drinks were very tasty just very small, a peach and pineapple sangria and a blood orange margarita… like I said good but very small. All in all an excellent place for a date. Ooo and very clean… great job Tupelo!

    Chloe was not a very good server. She kept messing up our order (we had to have her change what she wrote down Unfortunately twice, even though we were very clear). Then she didn't know what the items had in them and when she told us the wrong thing and we asked for her to make it right she charges us more (for just onions). Food was not good at all (we normally really enjoy it) and Chloe was not a successful server. We had a really bad experience 18 months ago, 4 good ones, then this one. Not sure we'll keep trying. Plus, a $12 mocktail is ridiculous. No wonder you don't put the price on the menu for that one. That's ridiculous.

    The noise level made the experience VERY unpleasant. The food was just ok. One goes out to eat to have a social experience including the opportunity to converse with one’s companions. This was impossible. The service was excellent.

    I have yet to be disappointed with any dish. The portions are just right to not overfill but you certainly don't leave hungry. I would suggest making reservations for weekend or holiday timing
