Our food was delicious and our server was very attentive and had a positive attitude.
Overall service and food were good. The cheesecake was fabulous, it’s a must!
Staff was friendly, attentive and efficient. Food was tasty and there was plenty of it. Can’t wait to go back.
The food was excellent!!! Try the pork chop!!
This was my first visit to Tupelo Honey. The food was delicious and the staff was great! I will definitely return next time I am in the area!
Ordered the dark meat chicken with one side. Total ripoff. 3 small pieces of chicken that had very little meat. The side was a small amount of veggies. $13 for about $2 worth of food. Went home and had dinner as this clearly did nothing to eliminate my hunger. Won't be returning. Waitress was very nice.
My wife and I went there for Valentine’s Day after previously going there with another couple on New Year’s Eve and thoroughly enjoying dinner. This time, it was a huge disappointment. The fried chicken was very dry and the side of potatoes minuscule. Even the biscuits were overdone. Only the Brussel sprouts were good. Finally, the wine pour was perhaps the smallest I have ever experienced. My wife and I eat out 5-6 times per week and this experience certainly makes us hesitant to return.
Fantastic! Our server was awesome- the food was fantastic!
The ambiance is awesome and the food and service are fantastic. I eat at South Asheville location quite often and it is a great restaurant for any occasion. The staff always go the extra mile and the Manager Alisa and the server also named Alisa are extremely professional.
Great food great service!
Our server Jami was AMAZING! Her suggestions were spot on and she was in tune with the flow of our table. My cousin and I hadn’t seen each other in ten years and had a lot to catch up on. Jami stopped by the offering refills and checking on us enough, but too much. She was also fun. She made us feel comfortable staying as long as we did and welcome to stay longer. Would go back again for the food and would request her section!
As always, an excellent breakfast experience second to none. Definitely a good to place to go if you are looking for a great breakfast.
The food and service is awesome. Floorplan and noise level are not the best.
This was our first trip to Tupelo honey. The food exceeded my expectations. Everything we had was delicious. The service was great but not as fast as we had hoped since we came in hungry. It was a busy evening for them and everyone was very nice. We will definitely be back very soon. It was a great dining experience.
Anndrea was AMAZING!! Love LOVED her, the food was outstanding and coffee was always full. Highly recommend.
I had the eggs, goat cheese grits, sage sausage and potato cracklins... sooo good!!
The food was great!! Everyone in my group (6 people) enjoyed their food and said they would definitely visit again.
Great food and excellent service! This will be our go to place for veggies and chicken. Biscuits were incredible with blueberry compote and/or honey. Appetizers were great too!
Only because I have been to the downtown location and like the ambiance much better there. Hope they don't change alot with renovation. Also I have only been for brunch and that food is exceptional,
willing to pay a little more. Dinner at South was just OK and bang for your buck was not there.
Surprised of the limit of vegetarian options as well, Asheville is know for supporting this culture and my son had few options for dinner. As well as any substitution was an upcharge.
We had made our reservation at the South Asheville location and had thought it was downtown. As soon as we realized our mistake we called and told them we were on our way. The hostess promptly informed us if we weren't there within 15 minutes of our scheduled reservation time we would have to go to the bottom of the wait list.
We are regular customers of Tuepalo Honey and made an honest mistake! My party and I felt like this was extremely poor customer service and simply rude.
We will not be back, too many other options in the Asheville area!
Food was amazing as always and the prices are fair. Tupelo Honey is a favorite of my friends from out of town who always request to go there for brunch! It never disappoints!
Mediocre at best. Very bright, very loud and very mediocre. Food was just ok, ambiance was like a Denny’s and the service was forgetful as were all the waitstaff we encountered. Fried green tomatoes weren’t hot, goat cheese grits were watery, Cobb salad was about like Wendy’s just a bit more bacon and the coffee was luke warm. The last time we went here it wasn’t much better. Downtown location is far superior.
Tupelo Honey was recommenced to me by multiple people. We wanted to go to the one in downtown, but it’s closed for renovations. My boyfriend & I loved their complimentary biscuits and chicken dip. Other than that, our food was like a fancy Cracker Barrel. Overall, pretty disappointed.
Our server,Meghan, was amazing...so attentive and helpful. In fact, they had a great team approach in serving and making the diners feel special. Food was wonderful and the food came out efficiently. Great restaurant for southern cuisine!
Great food and very good service. Will definitely return again.
Great Southern style cookin’! Friendly attentive staff!
The food was delicious. Very flavorful, fresh tasting and large servings. Service was great. Highly recommend the brunch. The fresh biscuits & their own honey is delicious. We will visit again soon.
We had reservations at 7:30 but arrived a little early. We decided to have a drink before dinner at the bar. Our bartender was so great we decided to eat dinner right at the bar. The drinks were amazing and every recommendation he gave for food was spot on. We felt like we were regulars and thoroughly enjoyed every part of our evening.
Service was great. Food was just ok. Appetizers were fried pickles, came out on a large platter but they were dumped out in a pile so the ones on top were good but after that just soggy. Baked chicken tasted like leftover chicken that was reheated with sweet tea poured on top. It was BAD! Sides and salad were good. Felt like a waste of money. Won’t return.
The food and service were excellent. I also was pleased with how the staff handled an outburst from a special needs child. Good job!
This was our second time at this location and it was excellent and is always a great place for breakfast, brunch or Lunch!
Amazing, as always!
close to the biltmore, but far from downtown--however lots of brewaries nearby, food was really good, staff was super friendly
Fantastic restaurant, food was amazing. The pricing was a bit high.
I had been to the Tupelo Honey in Knoxville, and it was simply AMAZING. I was was excited to share this amazing restaurant with my husband during a recent vacation to Asheville. We didn't mind driving out, since the downtown one was under renovation; however, as soon as we pulled up we were like, "Oh, it's in a strip mall."
While well decorated, the ambiance, food and service were just not up to par. In Knoxville, it was the food was so good I had to immediately text friends to say how amazing it was. This location just does not live up to the hype, and overall we were completely underwhelmed.
Coffee could be better, but did not take away from the overall experience.
A group went for Sunday brunch. The food was delicious as always. I always try to grab a meal at Tuprlo Honey when I am in town. I will be back!
Chicken is worth the 8 hour drive for us! We also loved the Jack Frost as our waitress described as looks like winter... tastes like summer. She nailed it! Speaking of our waitress, we couldn’t have been more blessed. ...She was super attentive , kind, and very informative of the menu!
Great food and wonderful service. We enjoyed our brunch dining experience. Would definitely go back and dine again. Everything tasted fresh and delicious
My husband and I always go for the brunch and love the food and ambiance, so we wanted to bring my husbands dad and stepmom from out of town. We made a 7:00 reservation, we’re seated about 15 minutes later. The waitress was very friendly and got our drinks out to us pretty quickly. We put in for a Brussel sprout appetizer, wings and a salad. We got those about 7-10 minutes later, all were very tasty. We put in our main course order around 7:40. This is where it went down fast. It was about 8:30 when the manager came over, after we asked the waitress twice where our food was. We had our 3 year old son, who at that point was getting restless. The manager apologized to us but we ended up leaving because it was a quarter to 9 and still had not gotten our food. Unfortunately was not a good experience at the end.
