Yummy Breakfast! Great service.
We ate the meatloaf and the shrimp and grits. Both were delicious. Our waitress was friendly and gave us just the right amount of attention.
Wonderful!! I have been cautious to dine out but they had an outdoor option - well spaced, clean, servers were masked. Food was great!
Always good. First time for brunch and it was very good. Excellent social distancing and mask requirements. Sanitation. On our list of favorites.
Our server was excellent. The restaurant was doing all the right things as far as COVID precautions.
I gave the food 3 stars because the eggs on my benedict were soft cooked instead of runny. I chose not to send them back and that’s on me.
Great meal. My family and I had a great meal at this location. The service was very good and professional (Andrea?). We all thought the food (I had a chicken sandwich, my wife had a hot chicken sandwich, and my child had French toast) was great as well. I wished they would teach our local Tupelo Honey (Greenville SC) how to run a restaurant the correct way. Kiddos to this place and if we are in the area again we will be back. Thanks!
Always our favorite spot!!
Wonderful experience during these difficult times. Waiter was wonderful!
Good evening with my children, good food! The kids LOVED the french toast and burgers. We loved the non-alcoholic cocktails! And the french fries!!!!! The veggie burger rocked, too!!
It was a rough night at Tupelo Honey. The manager was very nice however.
1). No Iced Tea Available
2) No Potato Cracklins available
3) Southern Cobb was most of the lettuce stem, a little cheese and a couple tomatoes
4) No White Vinaigrette
5). My daughters was brought out the wrong dinner
6). With incorrect sides
7). It was still 100.00
8). It was very slow; I was told it would take 45 minutes to brew tea so I should get something else.
My first time there I was impressed everything was excellent
Great food had some issues with my meal but it was fixed quickly. Will be going back again
Came all the way from Charlotte to dine while on a short vacation with my daughter. My fried chicken was completely tasteless and dry. Probably the worst I’ve had.
Love it here- inventive and delicious!
I come here every time I come to Asheville!!!
We stopped in for brunch.
This location was much less busy than the location in downtown.
Best biscuits around!
I would love to give a 5 star review. Tupelo Honey Cafe stands out in my memory as a shining star. A place to recommend and bring friends. However, on our last 2 visits, it was simply underwhelming and overpriced. All four in our party felt the food lacked the historical dynamic flavor - from burgers to chicken to biscuits, just not the delicious quality food it once was. The biscuits, once a glorious staple, are now larger but dry, even with the iconic blueberry compote, which is served in a very small proportion to the biscuits. The chicken was dry and lacked any discernible flavor. The BLT was just bland, and much smaller than in the past. Sorry to say it, but I do not think we will return to THC, especially given the number of other amazing choices in Asheville.
Great service. Incredible food and drinks. Seated promptly at reservation time. The pimento cheese and fried pickle burger Is off the chain!
Great Shrimp and Grits
Our food was amazing and the staff was fantastic!!
We received a complimentary dessert! Thank you!
Tupelo was great as always. Our service was safe and fantastic.
Good food and service. Wine by the glass was a bit pricey, $12.50.
Enjoyed my dining experience and the food and service was very good. We were unable to eat on the patio was the only drawback. Also menu was limited because of the virus.
Consistently good food, good service and outdoor dining available.
I come often during this scary time. Restaurant feels open and safe. Food is delicious with nice variety.
We love brunch at Tupelo Honey at least twice each month. The staff is so very accommodating, and so sweet to our dogs, and MEGAMOSAS!
We’ll be back.
Great location, food was amazing, quiet and a great outdoor patio area to enjoy. We make a trip here every time we're in Asheville. Highly recommend!
If they weren’t both called Tupelo Honey, I would have never guessed this was another location of the original Tupelo Honey located in downtown Asheville. The atmosphere felt like a generic Chili’s bar & grill and the food was similar in quality— like straight off a Sysco food truck. When you add in the scripted disclaimer that our poor waitress had to recite regarding the Asheville’s city wide boil water advisory, it left little to be desired for what I had hoped would be a fun birthday dinner and our first time out of the house in a restaurant in months. Totally a disappointment.
Had seating for 9 people no problem....great experience overall and food was delicious
A DELIGHTFUL EATERY WITH SPACIOUS, LIGHT-FILLED OUTDOOR DINING
My 65th breakfast was delicious! As always the food and service was top notch! We will keep coming back!
Alissa I think was our server’s name, from Murphy. She was awesome. My husband and I worked in and managed restaurants for 20 years and it is so nice encountering a server that has a great personality fitting for the position of communicating with guests. We were visiting the area for our 15 year wedding anniversary and Tupelo Honey was a must on our list of things to do. The food was excellent and I tried the watermelon kombucha and loved it. Thanks for a great brunch experience!
Tables were appropriately distanced and servers were very attentive.
Tupelo Honey South Asheville never disappoints. Good food. Good service. They used to give free biscuits before the meal but no more. You can buy them as an appetizer now. Bummer.
Tupelo Honey is mandatory on our annual visit to Asheville. 🥰
The famous chicken I ordered was perfectly cooked. The biscuits did not seem freshly baked. We were one of the last seated so maybe because it was the end of the night. Our fried green tomatoes were nicely prepared but sort of bland. I am used to a more tart flavorful tomato. My Caesar salad was very good! Thanks!
