Our server Jaimi was great! She helped us choose some tasty dinner options (highly recommend the shrimp & grits with chorizo), dessert and drinks. We liked it so much, we went back for breakfast two days later and once again received great service, this time from Meaghan. The sweet potato buttermilk pancakes are a must!
We expected more from Tupelo Honey in Arden than we experienced. Although we had a reservation and many booths were empty, were were first seated in the middle of the room. Food was very average or even below . Fried chicken dark meat was dry, French fries were limp. The staff did their jobs but were indifferent to customers. It was a disappointing dinner. This was on Sun, Sept 20 at 6pm. Maybe your staffers and cooks could notch it up a bit and act as if they care about their jobs! It will be a long time before we return. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to offer what we hope is constructive criticism!
We sat outside with our dog and they brought her a separate doggy menu. She ordered bacon with peanut butter. Our waitress was incredible- top notch service. And you can’t beat the brunch menu.
It was our anniversary and they made it very special.
Great food! We booked an outside table and it was cooler than expected. At this point, they don’t have heaters outside, so bring a jacket!
Not worth the money. A small glass of Sauvignon Blanc $14.00; this is not a five star venue. The pork was dry, the salmon overcooked and smeared in a very poor sauce.
Excellent menu and place was very clean . Social Distancing was perfect!
The $2.50 double smack burger was excellent! The sides a bit over priced but tasty.
The fried chicken I ordered was like eating jerky- tough and stringy. My husband’s meatloaf was good.
Amazing breakfast! Service and COVID safety was the best! A must in Asheville!
Madeline was an intelligent and gracious server. Brussel sprout appetizer is always delicious. Cobb salad and meatloaf entree were skillfully prepared and tasty.
We dined for lunch at the South Asheville location, and highly recommend. We had the lunch special combo, which was perfect. I would have liked to have additional sandwich options, but everything was very tasty, especially the collards! Don’t skip dessert, the pecan pie is outstanding! Our waiter was excellent and very personable and professional. Felt very safe as you could see all the steps the are taking disinfecting. Will definitely be back!
Jaimi was awesome and made the underwhelming meal excusable with her hospitality!
Our party of 3 felt safe eating at Tupelo Honey and our food was great!
Great food. I was hoping for Eggs Benedict when I came in, but it was a weekday and they only serve them on Saturday/Sunday. Otherwise, my review would have been 5 stars.
love your new Mountain Bowl. Superb selection of yummy veggies - perfect Vegan selection.
Delicious food. Love the pancakes! And the new crispy potatoes are yummy. Spacing for Covid-19 was nice and their cleaning practices were exceptional.
They sat us at our reservation time and service was timely. Food was excellent and not too expensive. We were seated right next to the kitchen entrance and the pay station, so there was quite a bit of commotion and noise from the staff very close by. Also, our waitress was just ok.
Service was great !! our server was very efficient . Food was excellent! Loved the fried okra . I got an extra order to take home 👍
Everytime we go to this restaurant they are out of something. Terrible service as well
Only fresh made Fried Okra in town!
Fantastic place for brunch! Those potato cracklings are a cult favorite!
Had a great time at dinner. Tables were spread out and I felt super safe. Food was AMAZING. Can’t get enough
Service a teensy bit show (drink refills) but otherwise, GREAT!
Great food with great service!
Great lunch; good menu selections, tasty! Will be back❤️
there is great outdoor seating food is excellent! recommend a reservation.
Really appreciate that Tupelo Honey takes reservations for their outdoor tables - was a peaceful and spacious setting and we felt very comfortable. Great food, as always, and wonderful service from our server, Jaimi. Thanks!!
I was in Asheville for only one day. I found this restaurant online and decided to give it a try.
They did not disappoint!! The food was AMAZING, brought out fast, and the servings were perfect for the price.
My server was absolutely lovely!
Wonderful, friendly staff. The scenery is quiet and relaxing. Food was amazing!
First visit. Great food but the wait staff was very slow and inattentive.
I’m so glad we made reservations for Labor Day. When we arrived we were taken to our table immediately and the server promptly arrived. He engaged us with nice conversation as he discovered we were from SC. I did over heard that there was 2 half hour wait to be seated if had no reservation. Every time we go to Asheville we choose the South Location mainly because of its size and always have friendly customer service.
The food and service were both fantastic. Will for sure keep Tupelo Honey on the list when returning to Asheville!
Adorable restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. Would absolutely recommend this place to others!
My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the fried chicken and sides were. My husband is very picky about his fried chicken because he can whip up some at home but Tupelo Honey's was a slam dunk. It was crisp yet moist and flavorful. Go hungry and savor their food.
Our food was amazing and our server Jaimie was outstanding
So yum! And our server was so sweet and gave amazing recommendations for us to do on our weekend trip in Asheville! I definitely recommend this location over the one in downtown Asheville as it was less crowded and had great aesthetic
Great Food! The service is good and the restaurant does well following social distance and mask guide lines.
Tupelo Honey is definitely a repeater. I was visiting from out of town and had heard how good the restaurant is. They did a great job with social distancing. Our waitress was attentive and we had great service. The appetizers and entrées lived up to their reputation. Two thumbs up!
Great food! Great service!
