Great dinner for our anniversary! We loved the ravioli - Lobster and Mushroom. And the antipasto was divine!
Decent food, mediocre service and outrageous prices.
We have been a few times and been very happy but this past time, not so much. The food was ok. Sausages dry and my Bolognese was kinda bland. My husband's ravioli's were good but the calamari was eh, we have had better for sure. At $170 that we spent (another couple with us) we were all rather unimpressed and left talking about other restaurants. We were impressed with the cheese wheel table side plate that was being made, the shrimp scampi I was told was good and so was the app. meatball.
Overall the place is great and we like to go there several times each year.
Service is the only issue. While our waitress is very nice - she messed up drink order twice for my son. Small complaint. Just didn't feel as attentive as in the past. I have to say the "special" app that you used to have is missed! That was such a great little treat to have.
Also we went on a Sunday and was told that no specials were available because you had too many private events earlier and the kitchen was too busy. Why should I care about that? You being spread to thin has no importance to us as customers. Same answer was for a limited dessert menu. That is a terrible answer to give to your customers.
Is going to dinner with my family on a Sunday evening a bad idea? That what it seemed like.
That's all. Really good food and we do like the environment and vibe.
I have dined at all 4 locations many times and this was a sub-par experience across the board. The service was slow and inattentive, my wife’s entree came 10 mins after everyone else and 2 on our table ordered the scallops special which I can only describe as a disgrace that it was even presented to a customer.
Super food, nice atmosphere with excellent service. Wine list is excellent, as are the cocktails. Three generations were all able to find something that hit the spot. Really good bread basket at the start, and the homemade mozzarella is not to be missed!
There were some missteps with the food and service in this visit. Our experience did not meet the expectations based on pricing
We took my son and his girl for dinner celebrating their new home Everything was perfect Wonderful waitress great food Thsnkyou
It has been a long time since I had been to Tuscan Kitchen, and while I am a bit put off by the prices, I am so glad we decided to take a chance. We had reservations for 6:45, and we preferred to wait to have a seat inside. We did have a bit of a wait, however they made up for it by offering us a complimentary glass of Champagne (I had mentioned while making reservations that we were celebrating our anniversary). When our table was ready, our waitress came right over, and noticed our empty glasses, and refilled them for us. I cannot remember her name but she was attentive, knowledgeable and had a great personality.
We ordered the scallops for an appetizer and they melted in your mouth. For dinner I had the Butternut Squash Cappellaci. They were like butternut squash wontons and they were delicious. My Fiance had the Wild Mushroom Ravioli and he was extremely pleased and finished his entire full-size plate. You can tell that the ravioli was freshly made and authentic.
For dinner, we took home Cannolis and we couldn't eat anymore.
I will definitely go back for a special occasion, it is just a little too much for a regular date night.
Portion size and ingredients need to match price. More traditional items would be a plus. Also, please consider the environment when selecting your meat selection, your customers care.
Service, atmosphere and food all 5 star!!!!!👍💯💪..... can’t wait for out next visit!!!
Not whatnot used to be and changes are not for the better. Making it look like the Copper Door didn’t help. Food was just okay, service slow. Honestly will probably no longer be my “go to” restaurant.
Great place for a fabulous taste of Italy. Friendly staff and a smashing menu. I was there for a business meeting and greatly enjoyed sharing a meat and cheese platter with my fellow diners and then the lobster ravioli. Couple glasses of well chilled Chardonnay complemented the meal nicely. All in all a solid place to eat dinner with friends or business associates (or both)
We've dined here about 6-8 times, but it's been about a year since we have. The cocktails and wine list are very good. This time we ordered the meatball app and shared 2 full sized ravioli dishes and a dessert. All were delicious and the service was excellent!
Only reason why it wasn't 5 stars is the food could have been hotter than it was. We didn't bother telling our server, but just some feedback!
Terrible service. Seemed to be one mishap after another. We were not the only table having issues. It was a very busy Saturday night and there seemed to be enough staff but people seemed very confused and unorganized.
Server was nice but not very attractive. Food took along time to come and one of the meals came out over cooked. Manager came over and had no idea what was going on with the food. Over cooked meal was refired, but rest of the table had finished wasting well before it came out.
Slow service, waitress was clueless, steak undercooked took too long to address. Waited 20 min for two draft beers while watching bartenders doing nothing. Not a good experience.
Never disappointed when we go there! Great service and was very attentive!
Our first time visiting this chain. Food was excellent. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The service wasn't so great; a waitress argued openly (and loudly) with the hostess when we first arrived which was fairly uncomfortable, then once we were seated, things were slow pretty much from start to finish. Fortunately, we were outdoors on a beautiful night and weren't in a hurry.
The only other item to note is that desserts are less expensive when purchased from the 'to go' counter, so don't save room and grab it on your way out.
The staff was very pleasant and helpful. We got seated right away. The food was delicious.
The best Italian food I have had in a long time!!!!! The meatball and burrata appetizers were amazing and the wild boar gnocchi was superb and the other guests at the table devoured their entrees so I will assume they were as impressed as I was. Will be back again for sure!
Excellent food but a bit high priced. Don't know why a review has to be 50 characters if you can say what you want to with less.
The wait to get seated was over 20 min, food was good, service was ok, not as prompt compared to days where it’s less crowded.
Incredible food, incredible service. Try the angel hair pomedoro. It’s not on the menu but it’s my favorite dish.
This is the 2nd time that I felt I was being rushed. We go there for special occasions due to the expensive meals so I would like to be able to enjoy my meal without being rushed out. My server forget my drink and I had to find her to bring something else she forgot. The only thing she was quick to do was try to get us to pay our bill!!
Amazing restaurant, great drinks, wonderful and attentive staff plus amazing food.
Chris, our server was fantastic- great personality, very prompt with our order and diligent in checking in with us during our meal. The good was outstanding with great flavors and presentation. Overall- a great evening.
I used to adore Tuscan Kitchen, but both the quality and the service have really gone downhill. The mozzarella en carrozza appetizer we ordered was essentially three soggy mozzarella sticks for $12. Yup, $4 per mozzarella stick. They tasted like fishy calamari and were clearly cooked in old oil. Entrees (cappellaci and wild boar/truffle gnocchi) were good but not great and seemed over salted. Service was poor and honestly kind of annoying. Our waitress made us show her the obnoxiously large menus and point to items we were ordering because "she couldn't remember what that was." She interrupted our conversation at least four times to tell us she "did remember to put our food order in" even though we hadn't asked, it hadn't been that long, and we clearly weren't bothered by it. She even went so far as to blame the kitchen staff for supposedly leaving our food out and not telling her about it. Our bill came to $92 before tip for two drinks, one appetizer, and two pasta dishes. Back when Tuscan was higher quality I would not have been bothered by this, but I did not feel like what we had tasted and experienced constituted an almost one hundred dollar meal. I hope Tuscan can turn this around because it used to be one of my favorites!
Service was excellent so attentive to our needs. Food was outstanding as usual
we go at least twice a month.
Fabulous as usual. Love the food and wait staff here. Everything is always great
Very noisy! Great service by our waiter. He did upsell me on a glass of wine that was $22.00. Yikers. Food was good but not the Italian cuisine we were expecting. We were seated at a large table but there were only two of us and we could not have a conversation so we sat next to each other and looked very awkward. For 120.00 we would rather go to Cooper Door or Buckley's
The food is good and there are no complaints about the kitchen. But the service was awful. I don’t remember another time when I have had such bad service. Our food came before our drink order but after the food was delivered to the wrong table. And after an entire night of bad service, the waitress brought the wrong bill. You didn’t get anything right.
The bathrooms were also out of service. I do not plan to go back to this restaurant.
Best Italian food I have eaten in the USA. Pasta was amazing! Service was excellent.
Good food and service always a pleasure to eat there. We had no waiting period and atmosphere was wonderful.
The food was amazing and the service was great. A superior experience in every way.
Very good but very expensive. Wait staff very good. Disappointed there wasn't more than one veal dish.
Server was very nice but seemed to have too many tables so empty plates sat and there was a long lag between appetizers and entrees. Food quality was lacking compared to other Tuscan kitchen locations. Sirloin steak dinner had more mushrooms on plate than meat. Steak and fish were cooked over level requested.
Service was slow, portions were small, food was just OK. Food quality did not reflect what I would expect for an upscale restaurant. Price , therefore , did
not match the quality of food and service.
