    What a wonderful night at Umami! We had the 18 course Umami menu. The decor is sparse, but the amazing food and superb service more than make up for it. Book the counter for the best experience. The nigiri were my favorite: cool fish against warm rice, each highlighted by the perfect amount of wasabi heat. Meal highlights: the tuna tuna nigiri - belly and loin topped with beluga caviar (and they are not stingy with the caviar!), the A5 wagyu with a pile of freshly shaved black truffle, and my favorite bit of the night: the fois gras - perfectly seared and succulent - it melted in my mouth. The chefs and staff were engaging and solicitous. A must-visit for those who love omakase.

    The quality of the fish was excellent and very fresh. You can definitely tell they focus on high-end ingredients and presentation. That being said, it is very expensive, so if you’re more of a casual sushi person, this may not be the place for you. This is more geared toward those looking for a true omakase or premium sushi experience.

    Incredible food with top quality and fresh ingredients. Every dish is a piece of art to the eyes as well as the taste. Very creative and playful mood. Really enjoyed the dinner

    I took my son here for his 12th birthday. We had such an amazing experience. You can tell that the staff is so passionate about what they do and everything was very interesting and delicious.

    Exceptional curated menu with some superb quality ingredients. Very knowledgeable on everything they serve, including the sake. It was a shame they were out of some of the highlights on their sake menu.
