We are regular visitors to Upper West. Since COVID, we have been ordering take out. Our first dine in. Good experience. Eat outside, always hard as you share the sidewalk with people walking by but the service and the amazing food out shined any cars passing by on the street. The pork tenderloin is a star here as well as the butternut curry! However, you can't go wrong with anything you order!!

Such a cute restaurant, great staff and great atmosphere. They had old black and white films playing on the wall (on mute) which we thought was so cool. Drinks were awesome (our fav was the Paloma) and we ordered a wide array of dishes which all did not disappoint! 10/10 will be returning. Went for a friends birthday and they provided desserts on the house which was very nice (and delicious).

This place is our new favorite in LA. We are living in SD. We loved the food , they are doing their best at this difficult time. Highly recommend

Had the squid ink Cioppino preceded by flatbread.Wife had Bronzino. all was excellent. Large beer menu. Outdoor and patio seating was pleasant.

Chef Nick knocked it out of the park again. The charred avocado salad (a newer item on the menu) was delicious-our tweens said they could just eat that and cancel their dinner, until their short ribs came-which they also loved! My flank steak was perfectly cooked and the gorgonzola slaw provided a savory contrast to the carmelized glaze on the meat. The mixologist made a fantastic spin on a manhattan and the diablo margarita was aromatic and just spicy enough. Overll, an exceptional experience, and one we have come to expect as they always deliver! Can't wait to go back!

The service at this location was excellent. Everyone was so friendly from the time we arrived there until we left. The food was unique and amazing. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food. The key lime pie was amazing as well. I definitely recommend it.

Wonderful restaurant. I’ve always enjoyed it. There is a small dining area with windows that open all the way. So you feel like you’re sitting in a dining room. Can’t wait to be able to dine inside once again. There is a lovely dining area and an even vibeier bar.

Upper West normally has great food, great service, and a great vibe. On this visit they missed the mark on service and ambiance. The server did his best to make it right and that is appreciated. Will go back and expect the usual great all round experience that Upper West provides.

This was the second time I’ve been to Upper West (during the pandemic), it’s my cup of tea! The staff is attentive and food selection is broad. Drinks are varied and delicious! The small disadvantages are street parking only and it can be a little loud during normal business hours for outdoor dining. After 6-630pm however, you’re in the clear!

The food was absolutely amazing. Chef Nick fried avocados and sweet potatoes are my all time favorite. Trust the recommends of the staff. You can’t go wrong!

Great, attentive service. Chargrilled Avocado app was fantastic. We both had fish dishes which were wonderful.

Not a fan of the giant movie projected over my parties head. I'd have liked to not have the distraction. But the food and service were good and I had a nice time.

The food was disgusting...usually never write a review, but this is 1 of the worst foods I’ve had ever in a restaurant.

The chopped salad was trying to be too creative w/ the fruits & feta along w/ the bulgur & the Spicy Tuna was like a runny paste instead of chopped on a chewy Crispy Rice.

Smoked Blue Cheese chips is a novel idea & was excited to try, but ended up too blue cheesy.

The steak had too many sinews...only redeeming dishes were the Thai Peanut Noodle & the Charred Avocado.

Service however was very good...unfortunately, the food did not match the service.

Great food as always. Only reason for the 4 rating on ambiance is the outdoor street side table setting. Well worth it, though to have a great meal during the pandemic. No loss in service or tasty food despite the smaller menu. Owners take great pride in what they do here, so more time to chat with them due to the smaller number of patrons than pre-COVID. One of our favorite restaurants before, and still a favorite now.

Love this place. The food is great and the people have always made sure every one of us feel special. So good to be back!

The drinks were a bit inconsistent so I’m still not sure what we had.
The food was amazing! I had a food allergy and they did not omit it from my avocado appetizer and I pointed it out. Then for dinner it was in another dish and they did correct it quickly after serving it but I ate a little already. So a little scary and thank goodness I did not get sick.

Loved the seating arrangement! Food came out quickly and was delicious.
