Urbano Mexican Kitchen & Bar
Our server was overwhelmied. Only saw 2 severs in the Resturaunt they were definitely understaffed. For the first time our wings were dried out.
Overall the experience was fine. I’ve been there several times and it’s always “fine”. This time my shrimp quesadilla was tasty, but waaaaaay too salty. I didn’t say anything because complaining always ruins the mood at the table. It wasn’t like it wasn’t edible, so I let it go. It’s just disappointing because that’s not something the customer should even have to point out. That’s something the chef should easily notice before it goes out to the table.
I would only recommend this restaurant for beers and guacamole. The margaritas were the worst I’ve ever had. I ordered a mezcal drink and sent it back because it was so bad...I’ve never sent a drink back in my life. I then ordered a margarita which was NOT GOOD. It tasted like sugary cheap tequila. The guacamole and chips and salsa were good not great. Our tacos and quesadillas were not not good...edible...but not good. The bar had a nice vibe so the only reason I’d go back is for happy hour but I’d only order beer / wine.
Great service and excellent food.
Great as always
Urbano's food is a great value. The atun tacos were fresh and well seasoned at a reasonable price. The nachos were quite large, had an intersting variety of meats, and a top-notch queso sauce.
Were we put at a table all the way in the back, even though the restaurant was mostly empty. This really hurt the ambiance, as there was no view of the outside or "energy" from the area closer to the front of the building.
Great place and super atmosphere. I did not give it a full 5-stars only because it tended to be quite loud and I sometimes felt like I had to shout across the table. It was fantastic though!
Liked Urbana very much. Liked the decor a lot. Place was very loud and that was my biggest complaint. Otherwise it was great. Waiter was good, food was outstanding. Would definitely recommend and return to Urbanos
Food was delicious but the margaritas were terrible! All you could taste in my husband’s was straight up tequila, no mango. Mine was supposed to be a strawberry frozen but when it came to the table it was 3/4 margarita mix with a splash of strawberry and again a heavy tequila pour. Now before someone says who doesn’t want a heavy pour, I believe you should taste the flavor you ordered and the alcohol should be the compliment. They also sat us at a table against the wall right on top of a 4 top next to us. We felt crowded and couldn’t have a decent conversation because the table next to us was overly loud and obnoxious. If we return back to the Bethlehem area again, we would try them out again but definitely would not order the margarita.
First time here, liked the decor, food was great, great service. Way too loud. It was difficult to talk to my party. Some attenuation is necessary.
Awesome experience great place great food
Excellent as always!
First time dining at Urbano. Impressed with the appearance when we walked in. The decor is very nice. Friendly staff. Several water options were offered. Tap, sparkling, and Perrier. We chose tap, which was fine, but it was served without ice, which I felt was poor. I shouldn't have to ask for ice. Started with drinks and guacamole. The guacamole was very good, but too citrusy for our taste. The frozen margaritas were made with real fruit, which made for a deliciously refreshing adult beverage, but you can't drink it through the tiny plastic straws they are served with. Not pleasing to drink from the glass either because they are served in mason jars with threaded tops. The food was good, but nothing over the top. My steak quesadilla was a bit dry. The menu said it was served with a queso sauce, but there was none. There was a mild white cheese on the inside, but it was more of a chunk cheese. Definately not a queso sauce. My wife ordered vegetarian enchiladas. The non meat dish was considerably more expensive than my steak quesadilla. Dessert was the most memorable part of the meal. The tres leches cake was outstanding and they had fresh fruit for my vegan wife. All in all, a nice place for a special occasion, but it won't be high on my return list.
Great food! Service was a little slow for lunch hour, but were were in no rush. I’d be happy to go back!
Love the single taco option!
This is our second time eating here. First time overall was great, great food, service, etc. So this time around not so much, my girlfriend ordered a tuna rice bowl, which she took a bite and the tuna did not taste right, we told the server, she ask if she wanted something different, she no, server was not attentive and to make matters worse she tried to charge us for the rice bowl, asked to speak to manager, manager never came, they took the item off the check, but seem very annoyed to do it. Great food but won’t go back there due to poor service.
The food and drinks were excellent! Our waiter was very attentive and friendly, had some really great recommendations! My only complaint the prices for the entrees are a bit steep for how much food you get. I was expecting more, however it was absolutely delicious!
Staff was amazing, music was phenomenal, food left us wanting seconds.
Quite surprising, we travel to Tucson regularly, a Mexican food home. The food here easily met the standard for authentic Mexican cuisine. Drinks and service was also excellent.
Great food, service and vibe. A must stop in Bethlehem.
Were in Bethlehem for the holidays. Pictures of food and drinks looked interesting so went for dinner on 12/30. Food was EXCELLENT! highly recommend roasted chicken enchiladas - we eat a lot of enchiladas and these were the best we have ever had. I go the chicken bowl - seemingly simple but execution was flawless. Dessert was ridiculous - we basically fought over the churro ice cream sandwich (fresh strawberry ice cream - you have got to be kidding me!!! So good!!) but the tres leeches was no joke either. This place is a true gem. We live an hour and a half away but predict we will be back!!
Prime time dining and half of the ingredients were not available. The service was miserable. Not impressed with the margaritas.
They literally ran out of everything during the busiest week of the year. How does a Mexican restaurant run out of shredded cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, pork and even milk?? The owners of this establishment and other establishments running all of their restaurants into the ground. This was just one example.
Great food and drinks. Love this place!
I tried something different, their Ahi Tuna bowls. Ahi Tuna is one of my go to meal choices. I will say the meal was mostly rice, black beans and a small amount of Tuna. The rice was overwhelming. I left most of it there, it was just not enjoyable . I would say you better love rice and lots of it. Probably won’t be ordering that again.
The at the table guacamole was delicious as always and I will visit again.
The food was good and the service was very good.
Great fish taco! Wonderful margaritas! Fun time was had by all
Have visited Urbano a few times now and they never disappoint! Cozy spot with great service and excellent food!
The food was great but the service was not good. They seemed to be under staffed and we arrived for our 5:00 reservation and weren’t acknowledged by a hostess until 5:25. The food also took a long time to come out. However, the server was friendly and our meals were great.
This is one of my favorite places to eat!!! I take friends and family here whenever I get the chance. The food is amazing , the service , the atmosphere!!!!
Seriously the most consistently good restaurant in the valley! We love it here and can’t wait to share with guests who visit with us who then request we revisit it! The noise level is easily remedied with some baffles on the ceiling to absorb the noise...please get this done and you will be perfect!
The food was excellent. The service lacked in a big way. Our waitress was slow, and she simply could not follow directions. I explained that I am allergic to cilantro, I said it to her twice and she came back to our table specifically to confirm this, and then brought us guacamole and made it in front of us, without us seeing the cilantro until after we started eating it. It went downhill from there!!!
We have been here many times August through October. Always been pleased weather week day or weekend.
This time Wednesday of Thanksgiving for special get away.
Construction in wine store next door
Chicken dry.. in all our dishes and sauce on entree choices skimpy.
Sorry, we lost this restaurant. But they had a bad day, too bad it had to be during a holiday weekend!
Great food great service... clean!
Everything was perfect (except maybe the glass of wine because the glass was too warm and the wine didn’t resonate too well with it)
Great food!!! The guacamole is awesome!!!!
Always tasty food and a great atmosphere, we love there table made guacamole and the rice bowls. Service is always excellent. Our favorite place to go when visiting Lehigh.
Excellent reasonable food. Friendly service and an upbeat young atmosphere. Very much enjoyed this restaurant. Great guac, and great variety of tacos
Go for the bar scene, and not the food. Guac flavor was not balanced at all and sour. Fish taco was basically eating a piece of fried cod. Nice large piece of fish, but not balanced with other ingredients.
