Fantastic experience at Vas! Food, server, atmosphere all were top notch! Start to finish a wonderful experience!
Great meal and great service once again at Vas Kouzina!
Always delicious, made with super fresh ingredients and served by delightful people.
Awesome spot for really well done and authentic Greek food.
We frequently dine at Vas Kouaina. Last nite was the first time that I tried their whole
fish. It was so delicious. Chef came to our table and boned and served, which was a
nice touch. Different lemon based sauces offered to enhance flavor, if needed.
Great place for dinner or even lunch. Don't forget to make reservations since this
restaurant is always busy.
We will definitely return and dine again.
Table of 4 celebrating a birthday. 3 contacts to confirm reservation. Made us wait til the entire party arrived. Great window table. Excellent service—attentive but not too much. Lots of help with explaining menu. Wonderful sparkler-feted dessert. Overall two people of four not in love with main entree—fish too dry. My shrimp dish was delicious. Husband (vegan) just scraped by finding something to eat-but that’s pretty normal around here. Had a terrific time overall though. Atmosphere vibrant albeit loud. Festive. Recommend. Will go again and try some different dishes.
The food was delicious and the ambiance is cool. Nice but not stuffy. A more fun atmosphere than I was expecting.
I also enjoyed trying the different Greek wines.
We had a nice experience at Vas Kouzina. It is a fun setting in Roswell. My only complaint is that they had a special called a seafood duo, but were out of the ingredients. Likewise, they were out of sea bass for one person, so they only had the larger ones available. Otherwise we had a great meal. The spanakopita was perfectly done. We had the trio of hummus, tzatziki and eggplant dip, with all of them quite good. I enjoyed my gyro with lamb. I would go back there again.
Such great food! Great vibe for a girls night
Love this place! The food is always consistent as is the service. Seating is a little tight in the one dining room. It’s okay but is just missing that bit ambiance that could make it something special.
Overall...one of our favorites.
We had a delicious meal with a variety of foods at VAS Kouzina including hummus, cheese on fire, calamari, and a gyro. Everything was very flavorful!
The service was also excellent! Our waitress was warm and attentive. We had an 8pm show to attend and the staff made sure we were served in a timely manner.
I recommend you make a reservation. I recommend you eat here too!
Food very fresh and flavorful. Service excellent. Very good value and unique dining experience. Need reservations to be sure.
Excellent experience. Our server Jeff is fantastic. Chef engaged us at our table while deboning the branzino. They created repeat customers in us!
We love this place!!!
Love everything about this place. The atmosphere, food, and drinks are all amazing! Great for a date night or casual dinner with friends. Very attentive staff as well. Love that they take reservations!
Food was excellent. One of the most authentic Greek restaurants in Atlanta. Chef is a wonderful person. If you like fish I highly recommend it. But, I could easily just order half a dozen appetizers and spend the evening with a few ouzos and friends.
This was our first visit and was based on a friend's recommendation. Our friend was right. This is a delightful place to eat. The first couple of times in a Greek restaurant can be a little intimidating because it is a different cuisine. The waiter expected this and his answers were well ahead of our questions. Very helpful, patient wait-staff. And the food was great! My wife had a "Greek Taco" and I had shrimp in a tomato sauce. And, of course, Baklava and Baklava Cheesecake for desert. One warning, the portions are huge! You will NOT leave hungry!
Food always fresh and well prepared!
As usual all was great. Very good server. Food was excellent. First time trying the green beans and cauliflower.
Lively place. Very friendly staff. Can get a true Greek salad. Lamb souvlaki was great. The Greek inspired mojito was perfect.
VAS is a beautiful little restaurant in Roswell. We enjoyed brunch which was plentiful and very reasonable. My only ‘complaint’ is the tables and chairs ate sooooo close together.
Probably the best Greek restaurant I have ever experienced, including several in Greece. Only criticism is that it wwas a little loud, and the seats need padding/
Loved the food, service, and ambiance. We have been several times and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends.
The food was delicious! Mussels, cauliflower, grilled vegetables, octopus and honey yogurt! Yum!
Food was delicious, especially the grilled octopus. Will definitely return.
Our 2nd visit and again, wonderful experience! This time we brought friends who were also impressed! our server actually brought an extra scoop of humus for our friend that is gluten intolerant . Next visit there, I am promising myself the sea bass!
Is an excellent restaurant for date, Special occasion, catching up we friends.
The food is delicious and drinks.
Lots of options- especially GF friendly! we could have ordered more- but will know that for next time.
I came here with my wife and it was one of the best restaurants we have been to in a long time. Vas and his wife Joanne were extremely hospitable, working the tables, and getting to know people. The drinks, service and food were top notch! We will be coming back regularly.
Food was exceptional. Service was good. Ambiance was nice. Staff is friendly. Would go to VAS again.👍👍👍
Chef & owners are so lovely and our server Wendy was delightful.
The service is warm and friendly. They make you feel as if you are a guest at their house. The food is spectacular. We ordered 3 spreads with pita. The spreads are wonderful and the pita is to die for. For a main course we had the whole fish, which the chef, Vas himself, comes to your table and debones it while explaining the different parts of the fish. You can also have them debone it in the kitchen, but we love Vas' personality. The fish itself is probably the best fish we have ever eaten and I say that without exaggeration. What a wonderful experience, it was our first visit and we are now "regulars".
We had such fun. There were 5 of us and we all love to share. We chose the flaming cheese, spanikopita, and the eggplant spread to share for appetizers. All were delicious. For entree, we ordered a 2lb sea bass to share and Moussaka, shrimp saganaki, salads and grilled veggies. We shared 2 desserts. The baklava was the best I have ever had. It was a ton of food but soooo fun sharing and trying new things. The chef came to the table to fillet the fish and talk about it and the style of cooking.
We will definitely go back.
It was great. Great service and great food. Would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
We were a party of four and shared the whole red snapper special, deboned by the chef at the table, grilled vegetables and roasted cauliflower. The food was excellent, prepared to perfection! Service was awesome. Because of the weather, everyone was eating inside, which made it a bit crowded and noisier than usual. Friends we took loved it and want to go back. Highly recommend!
Returned to Vas Kouzina. The Grilled Octopus was outstanding. The Pastitsio was okay. The grilled Lavraki, was perfectly cooked. Overall, a nice dinner. A bit on the pricier side, but tasty, well-seasoned, decent food.
The food is great. We got a whole fish deboned table side with cauliflower. We’ll be going back.
It was a very nice evening! The food was great! Service was good, too!
