Veneto Wood Fired Pizza & Pasta - Westside

Food was amazing! Even though it was busy (New Year's Eve), the wait staff were working hard to get everyone's order in and out. I would suggest for a nice dinner with friends or date night.

Veneto has excellent food and the best servers i town. We were served by Mariah and she was awesome. Very friendly and attentive.

The food was excellent and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server, Deena, was amazing. She was attentive but not obtrusive. We will ask for her when we return.

We arrived and were greeted immediately. Upon being seated the waitress came to our table in a very timely manner. She was extremely pleasant and after serving us for our entire visit - we were informed that she was in training. We would not have guessed that. The food and service were outstanding. We will definitely go back.

The service was very good. The waitress was very knowledgeable and explained all the different items on the menu when asked. We had a nice hi top table and we were all able to converse with each other easily. The food was very good-we all enjoyed our night out.

Absolutely love this place.............glad they reopened it after it was Fiama's. Dillion, who sat us and served us, was friendly, knowledgeable, and overall terrific. We will be back again soon.......this time to try that great wood oven pizza.

My mother, niece and I enjoyed a great dinner. Our server Deana was attentive and very friendly. My niece and I both had chicken French, which was delicious and a very large portion. My mom got the Mediterranean wood fired pizza, which was also delicious. They were accommodating in making my niece a Shirley Temple, and my mom enjoyed a glass of Moscato. There are a lot of great choices on the menu, it's difficult to choose what to order because they all sound so good. The restaurant was clean and organized and our overall experience was awesome! Everyone should give this place a try, it won't disappoint!

Excellent food - reasonable prices!
Saturday piano player is a nice touch.

The food and service were outstanding. I have hearing aids and had to turn them off because the noise level was excruciating! This caused me to have to have my wife repeat everything she said which turned an otherwise pleasant evening into a not-so-pleasant experience. We will go back to the East Avenue location again but not to Buffalo Road.

Excellent place to go to. The food, service, and over all experience was great. Our second time here and not our last. We did our anniversary dinner the 2nd time knowing it would not disappoint us. I truly recommend Venetos. This is the Westside location.

My husband both were excellent! and our waitress was very pleasant and friendly. She was really funny. The services was excellent as well. I definitely recommend Veneto in the Gates location and my husband & I will definitely be returning.

The Prime rib special was tough and over cooked. They took it off the check.

BUT, the calamari appetizer, oil/bread, and wine was amazing.

Overall, was very nice and we will return again!!!

Needs to be a tad more light inside.

The outside bare parking lot in the middle of nothing does not match the warm modern inside. The waitress was professional and personable. We orders the arancini to start, it was fabulous, but my Chicken French was rubbery & my friends Gnocchis with vodka sauce were dense and not very flavorful. Might try their other location, but won’t be back here.

The Arincini were excellent. I had the Pasta peas prosciutto Alfredo it was out of this world. My husband had prime rib with a side of ricotta gnocchi. The Marinara was excellent! The dinner music was wonderful. Very gifted piano player! Service was exceptional! Very pleased and will be going back very soon!

The service was excellent. They had a special that included bottle wine, salad, entree, dessert for $65. That was a very good deal given what I thought were high prices for pasta ($16-$17). But you did get a lot of pasta-actually too much-if they cut the portions in 1/2 which would still give you a good amount they could perhaps lower their pasta prices by $3-$4 or even $5. That being said, we had a nice time and people will not be disappointed eating there.

Good. I would go again.

The “new” Westside location is a welcome addition the East Ave Location. Friendly service, generous delicious servings. Take out too!

Great spot to enjoy dinner. Very family friendly. Food was delicious. A familiar, yet unique flavoring of Italian dishes. Has an open kitchen concept. Not an overly romantic feel but recommended for family or special occasions.

We had a very nice time eating outside. We have enjoyed Veneto downtown for a lot of years, so we are very glad to have it on the west side.

We sat outdoors on a lovely evening. The food was delicious and our waitress was wonderful! We will definitely return!

The food was ok - nothing exceptional. You do not get a salad with
your entree. That is extra. The portions were a good size.

We used to go to the East Avenue location all the time so we were excited to see a location had opened on the west side since we live on the west side. It was a great experience! The food and service were excellent. Bringing our kids back soon!

We love Veneto on East Ave. west side menu is same but had never had shrimp and scallops entree.. delicious except scallops are not much bigger than peas.. was expecting large size.. only downside.

The food, service, and entire evening were outstanding. We will definitely be back for another meal.
