Verde - Flavors Of México - Fishers
White fish cured in lime juice, Mexican spices. Topped with chopped tomato, onion, jalapeños, fresh cilantro, avocado slices
Sautéed bell pepper, onion, tomato and choice of protein. Served with rice, beans, lettuce, guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, tortillas
The food was good, but the service was only ok from the start. The greeter that sat us had no greeter etiquette and always gave a mean look. The server was quiet and not very suggestive nor attentive towards us, she didn’t visit our table enough to ask if everything was good or if we needed anything. Looking around though the other tables were getting fairly better treatment with continuous smiles and continuous service. Below average experience!
We had an excellent meal. Our table was ready right at our reservation time, and the wait staff was wonderful. We had chips and salsa on our table as soon as we sat down, and the food and drinks were amazing.
Prices have gone up and up again. I do love verde because it’s not your typical Mexican restaurant. So expect to pay for that.
Disappointed after discovering the staff knew very little about which food was safe for a gluten free guest. Menu states most items can be made gluten free, however, wait staff’s lack of knowledge made it clear they have not been trained on gluten. Overall very kind staff, but we left without eating because we couldn’t risk it. Food smelled good, though!
High end and unique food at reasonable prices. Great service.
Overall experience was good. My only issue was there was a menu add on price for cheese that was a $1.00. We were charged $2.50. Was brought to waitress attention but nothing was corrected.
The food was delicious, chips and salsa, salsa a bit thin, cheese sauce too soupy steak burrito delicious. New Year's Eve crowd so we were there before the crowd and had hardly any service for refill or chips, or to simple order our food took 20 min at least and there was only three other couples, but overall food was good.
Surprisingly busy last night. A little noisy but not awful. Ceviche was fabulous as always. Others at the table enjoyed the grasshoppers. I’m cutting out alcohol so I missed those wonderful margaritas! 😥
Excellent service and grilled octopus!
The food was awesome the service could be improved.
Good and service were outstanding. Best Mexican restaurant I been to in Indianapolis.
Salsa on point! Molcajete best thing on menu!! So full of flavor, feeds entire table!!
This is one of my favorite restaurants. My girlfriends and I love to come to this restaurant everytime we are out.
The food had a unique presentation and was very tasty. Many items were typical Mexican fare, however, they were novel takes on old stand-bys. This will be our new go to spot for higher end Mexican cuisine.
We met our daughter for her birthday, she had taco's but didn't care for them her boyfriend had enchiladas and didn't care for them. My husband had fajitas and loved them. I did a combo my chicken tamale was good. We tried to order Tres leches cake for dessert and they were sold out Which was a bummer since it was a birthday dinner.
Good quick service, hot and tasty food while being reasonable as far as price goes. Arro con pollo and 3way Fajitas were ordered along with a Mango Margarita on the rocks. Fajita presentation was very nice but steak was a little tough and chewy. The rest was yummy. We will go back again.
I have gone to all the Verde locations in the Indianapolis area. I have always had great experiences with great service. It was my first time at Verde- Flavors of Mexico-Fishers and I was left disappointed and will not being going back to that location. I regularly order the margarita trio, because it is a good value and the drinks taste delicious. However, at the Fisher’s location, they serve much smaller glasses, making it a complete rip-off. If you want larger portions, I still recommend the other Verde locations.
Pulling up this looks like any basic Mexican restaurant. Decor is also just so so. But the food and service were excellent. A lot of the menu items are unique and not what you’d see at basic Mexican restaurants. The chips were also fantastic. I loved the strong corn flavor and texture. My husband who hates Mexican food because he says it all looks the same actually commented on how good it was. Would definitely go back.
Excellent atmosphere and outstanding food!
We are repeat customers - at least monthly. Until this last visit, we’d only had one bad experience, on Cinco de Mayo. We didn’t give that much concern as service/food may not be the “usual” on this holiday for Mexican food restaurants.
Ordered 3 entrees & guac appetizer. The guacamole was overwhelmed w/onions. It was solidly onion. We sent it back & the replacement was improved but way too oniony. Not sure why so different this visit. Sadly - we left it at the table.
The taco salad & burrito had bad lettuce, easily visible & tasting bad. Had to eat around that (kinda difficult in a salad). Who does that? Makes a salad with obviously bad food items & serves it.
Our server politely apologized when we politely shared our feedback, but she seemed quite unaffected & disinterested.
We will return. Love the guac & meals usually! We’ve had more good experiences than bad. But we won’t bring guests again until we know this bad experience was just a fluke.
Excellent food, friendly staff, enjoyable atmosphere
We decided to patronize this location (Fishers)due to a great experience at the other location off of 86th street. While the food was great the service was not so great. She was not friendly at all in fact we don’t even know her name. We will not be returning to this location because the overall vibe was rather cold.
Good food, attentive wait staff.
Delicious food, great variety, excellent service. Love!
awesome food and service. we look forward to dining there again.
Great place. Frequent it all the time.
This is a fun place to be. The service was outstanding. For a Tuesday night with the outside temp at 80+ the vibe of the place was great. This was our first time there and we were looking for something different. The octopus and the red snapper were tasty but just OK. I've traveled 100's times to Mexico on business and am still looking for that authentic experience in this area. We will go again but will get more tacos and the like. I expect that this is a great taco type place with great drinks.
Don’t sit by the bathroom - the music is crazy loud.
But the food and drinks are great as always.
Really liked it. Pleasant ambiance. Service was great.
Food attractively served - high end.
Skinny margaritas almost too good.
Highly recommend this place
We love going to Verde especially for $6.00 margaritas on Tuesday/Thursday! The food (I could eat Pibil everyday) and service is always great too!
was miserly disappointed in the tortilla chips. they seemed like bagged chips
Food was fantastic. Smaller, older restaurant compared to other Verde locations, so the ambience wasn't as good.
Loved it! Will be back!
We really enjoyed the food. The street tacos were my favorite. Our margaritas were great!
The empanada appetizers were some of the best we've ever had. We had the chicken chimicanga, which was delicious. We also had the chicken breast with mole, the mole was excellent, but the chicken was overcooked and dry. Service was excellent, and the value was very good. We'll be back.
The food and service were amazing as always!
Enjoyed appetizers and margaritas with my friend while we did some catching up since the pandemic. Our server was GREAT at knowing just when to come by! Everything about our eating experience was fun!
Everything overcooked. Good flavor, but meats were very dry. Was expecting better. Not my experience at another location.
First time we've dined @ Verde. We have searched and searched for really good Mexican food in the Indy area and we may have found it! The food was great ... authentic Mexican; however, my son ordered the steak fajitas and the steak was very overcooked. It was dry and just not good. The portion sizes are very good. The only complaint was the service. We arrived @ 6pm for our reservation and were seating pretty quickly. We waited for approx. 10-15 mins before receiving chips/salsa and water. Waited another 10-15 mins before seeing our server again to order. We ordered drinks and food at the same time since we weren't sure when we'd see him again. Waited another 15 mins for drinks and then another 15-20 for our food. Overall we were @ the restaurant for 2 hours!!!! We'll try again but if same experience, we won't be back.
Eldest daughters birthday and she chose the restaurant. Staff and food were very good. Daughter was served cake for her Birthday.
