Vespa Italian Chophouse

Pretty good place just a bit to dark once inside. However, the service was great, delicious Limoncello Martini. Mozzarella Fritta was really good; crunchy in the outside and gooey enough in the inside.. pretty yummy. Had the 20 oz. Kansas City Bone-in strip with Cajun shrimp quite tasty along side with balsamic Brussels sprouts. The Brussels sprouts were on the bland side needed a pinch of sea salt. Other than that pretty good spot in Northport, NY

First visit to Vespa and was very pleased with our experience. Decor is really nice and very welcoming . Staff are friendly and attentive . The food was delicious. The menu has a lot of great options . We will definitely return. Our server Danny was excellent .

We have eaten at Vespa 3 times last 2 months. Each time it’s been better than before! The food is fantastic and service is great. If you want great Italian food reasonably priced this is the place to go!!!

Holiday dinner

We had a great family dinner on Christmas Eve. The service was exceptional and the food was fantastic.

Been there 2 times, food and service was very good. Dan was very help full with our order. Will be back soon.

We went to Vespa this past Thursday night. The bartender was tending bar and waiting tables, it wasn't that busy because it was a weeknight during Covid. She did an outstanding job, service was excellent and so was the food!

Amazing as always!!! Great food and great staff. Our new go to!!

Everyone was extremely pleased.

Vespa offers consistently delicious food that is very fairly priced. Portion sizes are very healthy and are oftentimes enough to carry home half for another meal. My favorites are the stuffed artichoke, cauliflower pizza, meatballs, Vespa baked clams and the chicken parm.

We had a very nice date night. The lighting went down for ambiance. Social distancing for indoor dining was respected and staff wore masks. Service was great and the food was delicious, as always.

Had a great meal at Vespa a few nights ago! The Reservation manager Victoria was super accommodating and worked with us with some last minute changes to the number of guests. Waitress was very friendly and gave some great recommendations for food. Will be back there again soon!

Vespa is a top of the line dining spot, from the building layout to the people who work there, We have dined there the last 3 weeks and it has been outstanding!

The fried mozzarella appetizer is the best around. Meatball appetizer is enough for an entree and the meatballs are delicious. Have been here numerous times and we haven't had an entree yet we weren't thrilled with. Service is excellent.

Once again, our dining experience was outstanding. We tried a new appetizer called, "panelle fritta" which was delicious and went well with a bone-in NY strip, cooked to perfection. The staff is attentive, respectful and friendly. We will be back in a week.

Thai calamari, short ribs, and chocolate martinis are great. Fig Mule and Pear and goat cheese salad was also equally delicious.

Prices do not reflect service. Food is sub par. $50 ala carte steaks delivered to table while dirty app plates were still there and no steak knives delivered for 10 mins. So no thank you. Charge $50 for a steak it should be immaculate service. Osso buck was smothered in a gravy sauce. Just all the food was schlocky. Won’t be going back.

I know they were busy but it took very long time to get our entries.

Had an early reservation. Waited well over an hour to be served our food. The meals were fair at best. Have eaten here before and had a much more positive experience in the past.
I believe that by creating this lovely outdoor space, they have increased the pressure on a kitchen that cannot handle the indoor/ outdoor guest load and the quality of food has gone down.

Our first time there- was definitely a positive experience! Food was delicious, service was great ! Will definitely be coming back soon!

Treated very poorly by management due to dispute with another table about opening up tent ( which was shut when we arrived, which we were comfortable with, and made us quite cold after it was opened). Understand the complex issues, but was handled very poorly by manager? owner? when he finally arrived to discuss with us 20 minutes after we first complained. No apology, no offer to move us to another table, simply rude response that showed no consideration to our concerns. Perhaps the other party were regulars, it was our first time there. It will also be our last.

Nothing special for a birthday, but food and service excellent as usual

Vespa does an excellent job providing safe outside dining in the tent. No easy task. Delicious good and prompt service.

It was a Friday night it was cold outside but inside the tent was perfect. Felt absolutely great. Service was outstanding. One negative was the chicken parm over cooked like tuff.
Will give it another try since the service was so good

Appetizers were good but main courses were disappointing. Chicken special was not very good. Description was not what it was. Hamburger was cold.
Wish food was better great atmosphere close to home

Pasta with eggplant was terrible. I didn’t eat it and they did the right thing and refunded my money. Waitress was very nice and friendly

Great dinner and experience. Staff was great as well as food! Noise level was very high and made difficult conversation.

Can’t Call this a chop house. Had the bone in rib eye. It was skinny, chewy and no flavor. Definitely not steakhouse quality no matter what they call it. The filet mignon was chewy And tasteless.

Maybe they should take away chop house....the italian food may be good....but we will not be back.

177w tip and only one drink and salad apps....I have had MUCH better streaks at Outback for 60 percent less.

It was a nice night out. My only complaint was that I made a reservation for 8pm and waited almost 45 minutes to be seated

All I can say is this is a must go to . We will be regulars here! Service was amazing our waitress Genae was so friendly and helpful recommending food and dessert I had the tuna and my husband had the Salmon they were both delicious. The baked clams were outstanding. Genae recommended the Rainbow crumb cake with gelato it is a must try when you visit . They have plenty of outdoor and indoor seating all Covid protocol maintained. Very impressed

While the appetizers were good, an Italian Chophouse with no veal chop on the menu is odd. 3 of us got the bone in ribeye. Mine came with a bone 1” long. I’m a steak guy and this was no prime cut. Very disappointed, won’t be going back.
