Victor's Italian Restaurant
Delicious Seasonal Selections and beer and wine list.
Terrific local getaway that feels like we were enjoying big city cuisine!
This was our first visit and we drove nearly an hour to get there! It was excellent on all points. We will definitely return and take friends and family along!
The meals were delicious. Our server, Amy, was outstanding. She was professional while also friendly.
Great meal and service! We will be back for sure!!
Delicious food, wonderful service, unique building.
Had a great meal. The gumbo was perfect and the pork shank was outstanding!
A local gem for 35 years
from the time we walked in the door until we left we were treated as royalty. The Italian wedding soup was almost a meal in it self. We both had the chicken palm, and it was delicious and we even had enough for another meal..
My wife and I celebrated our 24th wedding anniversary and it was also our first tine at Victor’s. The experience was outstanding from the time we walked in the door!!!! Brigitte was our server and she went over and above to ensure we had a wonderful experience. The food is outstanding and authentic Italian.!!! My wife and I are from Philadelphia and are both Italian. Victor’s matches and surpasses Italian restaurants in South Philly. We will be back to Victor’s often!!!!
Jazz was great! And the food amazing!
Wonderful food and we love the smaller portions that are available. :)
The mussels appetizer was very good. They were fresh, cooked perfectly, and had a delicious wine lemmon broth. I had to ask for a spoon wgich wasn't presented automatically. My veal saltimboca had a nicely balanced sauce, fresh mozzarella melted perfectly and prociuto. The veal was pounded and reasonably thin but not like Gabriella of Harrisburg which is the gold standard. My wife's veal marsalla was similar, very good sauce, and good but not perfect veal. Server was attentive and paced the meal well.
Victor's is our go-to celebrate occasions site. Everything is always top notch, from the wine opener to the dessert. We always have a very pleasant experience!
I love Victors but your food is a bit pricey for what you get. We don’t come very often when salads weren’t included with your entree. We loved Bridget. Best server we have had at Victors!
Food = excellent.
Service = very good.
Noise level is the only "complaint". Maybe some sound boards on the walls may help. While it wouldn't be very pretty it may keep the noise level down so that all of the members of your party don't have to lean in towards each other in order to hear the conversation.
Victor's is our favorite restaurant in central Pennsylvania. We took our granddaughter out to celebrate her birthday and each of us was well pleased with our meals. We particularly love the fried ravioli as an appetizer.
We sat outside and it was amazing weather. Bridget was our server and she always provides us with tremendous services. She also remembers several of our “go to” items.
This is a wonderful privately owned local restaurant with great food!
Another pleasant evening with great food, good wine and nice music.
Very nice Italian cuisine with average portion sizes and good service.
Smooth pleasant evening. Food was excellent with good spacing between courses. Nice!
The service is extremely slow. We waited for 30 minutes for our bottle of wine and they forgot our appetizer. The filet was extremely over salted and worst was the Bolognese sauce. Awful and loaded with nutmeg. The owner then approached our table and indignantly argued that Bolognese doesn’t have any tomato or milk in the sauce. The should be on one of the rescue restaurant shows. She was awful and solidified us never coming here again.
The setting at Victor's is beautifil. Everything is ala carte so it is quite pricey. The food was ok but I have had better and priced less. Not sure I will return, but it was crowded so maybe it was just my selection.
Very good food, nice restaurant. Definitely not a cheap eat
Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. S
It can get very loud, but the food is tremendous. A little pricey for York County, but they are at the top of our choices for Italian.
Nice neighborhood-type Italian restaurant. The food and service were great.
BOLOGNESE Sauce needs tomatoes too dry saltimboca perfect
Would only recommend for the excellent food. It was not busy so hard to rate noise level. But for not being busy the service was terrible. Waitress was very nice but extremely slow. Appetizer was cold from sitting ready before it was served. If you are in a hurry I wouldn't stop here.
I have been to Victor's many times. The food and service are always great. You will wait a bit on busy nights, but the food is worth the wait.
Very nice and relaxing atmosphere. Server, Kent was excellent. Owner, Marie chatted with us at our table. Made us feel very welcome.
Dined at Victors on Saturday August 17, 2019. Victors is located in an old church building and all four of us really enjoyed the ambience it created. The service from the moment we arrived was excellent and continued that way the entire evening. They served some really unique (in my opinion) specialty cocktails which we thoroughly enjoyed. I order the basil gimble and it was outstanding, richly flavorful taste of fresh basil. Another standout is their arancini for an appetizer, I recently returned from a trip to Sicily and Victor's arancini was as good if not better than I had in Sicily, two small arancini's served with a delicious light colored tomato sauce. The piping hot home made bread, the home made spaghetti with shrimp, etc. was all delicious. I highly recommend Victors.
Excellent meal and service.
My husband and I decided to sit outside, so the service was a little slow as I think the wait staff also had tables inside, and they had to bring the food out from the kitchen. At the same time, I believe that everything is made fresh, so it takes a bit longer than your typical chain Italian restaurant. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful for a summer date night, and we will be dining there again soon!
yes. Overall the quality and atmosphere are excellent. We are repeat customers and will return.
Fabulous food! Great to have live music during our meal.
Victor's is a good place to go, but not on Saturday evening. It was incredibly noisy, my friend and I had to shout at each other to be heard. Adding to that was a very loud and very poor jazz ensemble.
My husband and I just love this restaurant. We have returned many times and the food is consistently delicious and the wait staff and bartenders are exceptional.
I made reservations for my fiance's birthday Thursday 8/1/19. We had a very romantic dinner 5 years ago and it was wonderful.
This time was a very different experience. Our food took over an hour, our waitress rarely checked on us to the point another couple complained for us.
My filet mignon was perfect but the salmon for the birthday girl was burnt to a crisp.
Our server said she would comp us desert becuae of the wait and issue with my finances entree but when the bill came she only took off one of the deserts.
We were disappointed and won't be back.
Selected the chef’s special - swordfish, perfectly grilled, served over a delightful bed of greens with a variety of marinated peppers and artichoke hearts. Fantastic! Never disappointed at Victor’s.
