Victory Park Tavern
Burgers are fabulous, the French fries are the best
We had a great time at Victory Park Tavern. Food was excellent, ambiance is so cozy and warm, and we were treated like we go there every night. The special soup - Crab Lobster Corn Bisque - was spectacular. Can’t wait to go back.
We were fortunate to have the back corner booth for our group of 5 celebrating a birthday!
The food is always fabulous and the vibe is warm and friendly.
Go sick from some spoiled cheese cake. Burgers are the way to go.
It's great to hear you like the burgers, Anonymous, but I’m sorry to hear that you were sick. We're committed to always using fresh, delicious ingredients. The cheese cake was served many times over that weekend, and it was fresh and not spoiled. Thank you for sharing your feedback. I hope you’ll be back again soon for another burger. -Teresa D., Restaurant Manager
Great service and great food
Great food, great vibe and casual. Perfect neighborhood spot with a great menu and very friendly staff!
Our second time there. First time eat in the bar area. This time we ate in the restaurant area. The food was amazing. Along with great service. Will be back again.
Nice Relaxed environment, great food and great service. Wait staff is professional and well trained and go out of their way to make your experience exceptional.
wonderful neighborhood restaurant...great soups, salads and desserts...entrees varied and robust in portion and flavor
Great ambience, excellent food, and even better service. Would come back here time and time again.
Always love dining at Victory Park. The help is friendly and informative Bartendars make excellent cocktails. The food is fresh and delicious.
The food is excellent!! The pasta is homemade & this place is great all around!
Service, apps and entree were very good. Cocktails and wine were stupid expensive. $14 for a glass of mediocre Cab...?
We loved everything about this place. The food was top notch, creative dishes full of flavor. Outstanding chef! The special ribeye steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The service was excellent. I love the ambience and the bar has a great atmosphere.
My friend and her husband were performing on Saturday night at Victory and a friend and I decided to go and have dinner. We were very impressed with the cozy bar and restaurant and lively but comfortable ambiance. The hostess graciously offered us a table close to the bar area so we could see and hear my friend playing.
The thoughtful menu was meticulously detailed with mouth-watering entrees. Our waiter guided us to our final choices of the pork chop for me and short ribs for my friend. The pork chop was tender, juicy and flavorful. The short ribs were a sizable and tender portion. Both entrees were cooked to perfection.
We finished the meal with the chocolate brownie with ice cream which we shared and still had some leftover. I look forward to returning.
I love this place. It has a European pub type atmosphere. Much better than the past restaurant (What’s Your Beef) We dine here often. The restaurant is always busy. I suggest making a reservation. On the weekends they have live entertainment in the bar area. Limited menu but with excellent options. My favorite is the Cedar Plank Salmon or the Double Cut Pork Chop . The consistency, presentation and the food keeps us coming back. DZ
Food was amazing! Servers were polite and super attentive as well. I will definitely be back
Service was great - but food was only okay and bland . For the price of the food I was expecting an excellent meal and it was not - I could get the same quality steak from Texas Roadhouse for a fraction of the price
I love to take my daughter and daughter in law out every once in awhile. Tonight we choose Victory Park! No disappointment! Food great service great!
The food was excellent, as well as the service. This place has changed hands over the years but I like this incarnation. It will be one of my favorites.
This is the neibhborhood restaurant we've been looking for!
I thought I was walking into a new restaurant only to find the only thing CV hanged was the name and the prices very high. It was disappointing. Menu options were limited and I felt like I was in a warped What's Your Beef. The french onion soup had the proper cheese on top, however, it was like eating gravy. The lamb chops were good, but not out of this world for a price tag of $38. The bolognese pappardelle was ok, again, not much sauce. This outing was for my birthday and I would have rather gone to Pazzo's in red bank or Jimmy's in Asbury. At least we would have gotten our monies worth and had delicious food and drink. I would not recommend this restaurant. Very disappointed in the end.
I made a reservation in advance for 5:15 on Sunday night. Hostess was rude, not helpful and said, well I do not have a table for two. No apologies and no attempt to make it right during the time we were there. We were finally seated in the library where a children’s large birthday party was in full swing! We were treated as an inconvenient after thought. I made a reservation in part because my daughter is confined to a wheel chair. We loved the old What’s Your Beef and have come to like Victory Park. The chef is ourstanding and the food is consistently delicious. The rudeness and lack of service was awful.
The food, service, and atmosphere were outstanding. A kitchen run by a talented chef with an inviting menu.
The food was delicious for New Year’s Eve dinner.
I especially loved the appetizer of eggplant meatballs .
We will be going back soon.
Great New Years Eve dinner at Victory Park Tavern! The food & service were wonderful.
Loved it & would go back again !
Lovely casual dinner for six. Food made everyone happy. Though it was moderately noisy, we could hear each other speak. The romaine salad is my favorite!
2 Couples. Went for dinner then to listen to live music. Had reservation.
Took a little too long to be seated (Between 10 and 15 minutes) . Hostess texted me that my table was ready despite the fact that I was standing in front of the hostess stand. Had to ask for bread and butter.
Diverse menu (Selection from Burgers to Sea Bass, Salad to Steak). Food was cooked and prepared well. Drink options were decent. Music was good, restaurant was comfortable and welcoming.
Has become very good in both food and service...good vibe
Great local spot for excellent food and company. Wed is burger night and the burgers are great including the new Impossible Burger for those who want to avoid meat. They both came with french fries reminiscent of frites found at a French bistro. Victory Park also has an excellent wine list but you will pay extra for a non-house wine that is included in the burger night special.
Great food and ambiance! Peter, the chef/owner, is remarkable in creating unique fresh delicious food.
Came with friends on a chilly pre-Christmas evening. Very cozy atmosphere. Two of us had the special gnocchi which was a bit disappointing. Lots of chopped vegetables but no real sauce or flavor tying it together. Another had the special scallops and risotto and liked it a lot. Ditto the pork chop. We sat on the side which made the noise level tolerable. Would definitely recommend.
We love going there!! They have a good band there too! Great Food and Drink!
Food was delicious! Presentation , quality and quantity spot on. Love their cocktail selections!Tuna tower was so fresh and grilled octopus tender and grilled perfectly. Our server Gita was so sweet with a great sense of humor and very attentive. So happy to have a wonderful neighborhood restaurant with a great menu and fun bar with live music!
The recent updates combined with live music create a great vibe.
Liked the friendly welcoming staff and good service. Food was very well prepared, served hot and delicious ! I will return !
First time at Victory Park Tavern. Food was very good, came out quickly, service was great, will definitely be back.
