great service. food tasted like home made. flavorful and not too heavy like Italian food could be some other places.

3rd disappointing trip in a row to Vidalia. First time we had very slow service and dinners brought out 15 minutes apart. Second time they lost our reservation but acknowledged it was their mistake. Had a large party and some concerns but eventually seated. Last Saturday night, we had to wait 70 minutes for our entrees. No one ever stopped by - not even to check in or to fill our water glasses. The waitress said the restaurant had a last-minute influx of takeout and/or delivery orders. You could see the meals being put on the table by the front door for delivery or take-out...5 or 6 bags up there throughout our meal. Meanwhile, nothing was being delivered to the patrons actually inside the restaurant. There's never a manager on-site here and no one greets you as an owner or host/hostess really. The staff are young and nice, but untrained. We used to eat her quite regularly - no longer. I guess we need to order takeout or delivery via Door Dash or Uber Eats or similar to get service at Vidalia. If their business model is takeout - that's fine...but then tell people who travel there with their 89 year old Mother and have to sit for roughly 70 minutes to get dinner. We would've ordered takeout and been more comfortable. There are too many other good options around...Vidalia is out of our rotation. Disappointed.

Terrific restaurant. Widely spaced seating, great service, delicious food.

First time dining at this restaurant in years....very pleased with the service, food and ambiance! Thanks Vidalia for making it an enjoyable and pleasant dining experience.

After reading other reviews, my husband and I decided to give it a try. So glad we did! We shared the Vidalia appetizer which was a creative taste treat. I enjoyed my sautéed calamari appetizer which they turned into a dinner portion. It was tender and perfectly prepared. My husband ordered the chicken Siciliano which also was very good, but needed a bit more spice. We look forward to leftovers for tonight’s dinner.

We have chosen Vidalia for our anniversary dinner since we first visited the year they opened. It never disappoints!

we always go the Vidalia for special occasions! We enjoyed the service, food was amazing and selection was plenty.

Good food and service. They were attentive to the COVID constraints and we felt comfortable there. Did I say - good food?

Service was horrible. 1 1/2 hours for entree. Apparently chicken was not fresh. Have enjoyed Vidalia in past but this was really disappointing. Also they had a Santa walking around not following social distancing. Don’t know what they were thinking!

Overall great experience. We will be back.

Excellent atmosphere. Our waitress was Kellie and she was fantastic. Staff was very friendly and helpful with celebrating my wife’s birthday. The food was amazing. Chef Sal was even able to come out and say to us as well
as the other patrons. Highly recommend Vidalia. Just remember it’s BYOB.

Enjoyed the cannoloni , great flavor and the Marzanno plum tomatoes sauce is wonderful

Always exciting specials and delicious menu from the Vidalia appetizer to inviting dinners. Warm and friendly staff. Perfect layout, especially with the pandemic. A must if you’re in the area!

Vidalia's is just a wonderful restaurant. The outside seating is well designed with all tables spaced at a good distance from the others. Very comfortable due to overhead heaters. The food was delicious (We had stuffed mushrooms, Duck, Fichi chicken, chocolate lava cake) and the service was excellent. I can't recommend it more highly!

Outstanding lunch! The Vidalia bread is stuffed with wonderful ingredients and delicious flavors. The bourbon shrimp was incredible! We all loved it! The chicken Marsala was also prepared to perfection! This place has really adapted well to the Covid requirements. We sat outside in mid November and were warm with the heaters. Vidalia is a hidden gem!

Excellent all the way around. Great staff, great food on top of great weather (which Vidalia had nothing really to do with but benefit from the opportunity), it was the perfect evening outside!!!

The service was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious! We passed on dessert but the chef was kind enough to bring us a little cannoli in celebration of our Anniversary. Very thoughtful!

Food was too salty. Veal was overcooked. Service was good. Ambiance was pleasant.

This is the second time we've been to Vidalia's in 2 months. The first time was excellent. Food,service, and atmosphere was great. While the service and atmosphere were wonderful, the food was a disappointment. We both had the top round steaks. They were tough and had too much fat. For $39 per person, we expected something much better. My husband requested extra mashed potatoes and was charged $10. Certainly not enough to justify the price.

Food was amazing and it was prepared very quickly. The server was so kind and welcoming as well. Overall a great experience for our first time there. Would definitely recommend!

Vidalia has a lovely covered outdoor terrace which is ideal for dining during the pandemic. The seating is perfectly distanced, the ambiance is appealing, and the staff is careful, personable and professional. For lunch my husband and I shared a generous eggplant rolatini appetizer, he enjoyed a hardy rustico sandwich of pork, cheese and broccoli rabe, and I had a tasty salad of greens, orange slices, fennel and shaved almonds. We will definitely return while the autumn weather makes outdoor dining feasible.

They have created a beautiful outdoor space which was quiet and spaced so that I felt safe. The food, service and ambience are all excellent. My favorite go to for a special dinner.

Amazing staff and amazing food. I've been to numerous Italian restaurants in New Jersey and New York, this one rivals the best of them. The food was perfect, hot and made after we ordered. We were not rushed, not hurried in any way. We took our time and the only time we had a waitress come to the table was to clear it, ask how our food was or bring us part of our meal. The staff was welcoming and happy. I will eat here again....and again. Thank you for making our Anniversary special.

First time there... nice set up during Covid ...however you feel next to each other with no separation...( I know it’s outside but you feel on top of each other)
Food was good not great. Service was quite slow(we saw people to be served before us when we have been seated first, and we had to wait very long between our appetizers and main course) then my friend overheard we were late to leave for the next reservation.... very frustrating!
Going to many Italians restaurants, this one will not leave memories about their food! Not going back

Great restaurant with an unbelievable bacon-wrapped shrimp appetizer with a bourbon BBQ sauce and lots of great Italian entrees. Highly recommended.
