We had the best service, everyone was friendly welcoming and attentive! The food was delicious and the place is beautiful and very clean. Yussra the hostess was welcoming and fun to talk to. The manager checked on us as well. Highly recommend it!

Villa Yara is a MUST. Do yourself a favor and ask to be sat in Nora's section. She knows the menu very well and can give excellent recommendations.

Went here for my birthday dinner with 6 people and the service was very disappointing. I had been once before and the service was also slow but decided to give it another shot because the ambiance is so cute and the drinks are good. We had a res for 7:30 and weren’t seated til 9 pm due to a short spurt of rain outside around 7:15. Not completely their fault but disappointing nonetheless. They didn’t do much to compensate, offer us complimentary drinks or anything like that. Food was fine but overall not worth it.

Had a great great time and experience at Villa Yara. The food was excellent so is the service. We had Andrea as our server and he was beyond excellent. My only comment is the bathroom had no soap or tissue also some of the cups and plates came not 100% clean. But the manager and the waiter acted upon it super quickly and apologized too. Will be back again!

The food was delicious and a good value. While it is fun to enter such a high energy restaurant, it is difficult to hear your dinner company. Service was friendly but some staff seemed less experienced. Hope to return and enjoy the outdoor space.

Service was terrible - our table was forgotten about multiple times. Took forever to get water and cocktails. They gave us 2 menus for 5 people and kept coming back to try to take the menus from us before we even had a chance to order our food. The food was good but portions were small and prices very expensive for what the dishes were!! On top of it, our waiter added a 20% tip for himself on everyone’s check with the digital card reader he brought to the table without waiting for us to select the tip ourselves. Super unprofessional and disappointing.

The restaurant is beautiful (especially the outdoor garden) and the food was delicious. The service was amazing, but then our server was assigned to a 20 person table so we got put on the back burner. The cocktails were very good and the food was beautifully prepared, but I do think the serving sizes for the entrees were quite small for the price.

The place was beautiful. The decor was well done. The menu was expansive. But my oh my the price insane. The cocktails started were $18! There was not a single glass of wine under $16-$17. The small plates (baba ghanoush) could only feed maybe 1 person? It all seemed so expensive for such tiny portions. All the food felt under seasoned. I left being so so so hungry still. And the service was meh. I felt like they were always rushing us but were never around to get our drink orders. What a cute place but damn I had such sticker shock!

They’ve got a big variety on the menu! Everything we ordered was delicious except the meat platter could’ve been better seasoned and the meat was a bit tougher than we were hoping for. The drinks were strong and the server was attentive and nice. We will definitely come back to try more of the menu!

Superb meal. So many extraordinary small and large plates - you don’t have to repeat ordering favorite dishes to have a great meal. Patio was a beautiful escape from city life. And staff was friendly and professional.

Food is very bland and quite bad. We sent something back to the kitchen - they omitted it from our check which we appreciated. Service was quite good and the atmosphere is nice. It's decorated well. But I won't be going back because the food is less than mediocre but with a really high price tag.

It’s absolutely amazing place but for the price we paid we expect more! Staff should be more attentive (not all of them). We had a great time and we will definitely be back. Food was 10/10 minus the tabouleh!

The service was just ok. The waiter couldn’t help with an allergy for onions which were virtually in every dish. It filled up so quickly that the service was slow. The food was ok.

We ate outside where it was quieter and not as many people. Inside dining had tables very close together and was less conducive to conversation. The food was very good - a bit pricy.

I have been to a lot of Lebanese/Mediterranean restaurants and even lived in the region for awhile. This place is not it - the food was just ok, and the server we had was terrible. He tried to upsell us multiple times, and when he realized we werent taking the bait, he forgot about us. I had to waive down other waiters/servers/busboys to get any sort of help. The food is overly salty, and yet had no real flavor. Its definitely a miss for me. You go here to get your pictures for instagram, there are much better restaurants in DC.

Ordered sparkling eater, simple appetizers (hummus, muhammara, and fattoush) and a mixed grill platter. We never got the sparkling water, the appetizers came out 20 minutes after ordering with not enough bread, and waited 90 minutes for the mixed grill that we never got before finally telling the waiter to cancel it and give us our check. Oh and there's a little tiny single occupancy bathroom pretty close to our table with people lined up to use it around us. Unbelievable how we could smell the horrible stench everytime that door opened. The table next to us asked to move tables because the stench was unbearable.

Apps were all great entrees were mid but we enjoyed the food and drinks. I was slightly disappointed in the seating I did request the patio which I understand it’s busy but I told the lady seating us we can wait but she still sat us inside. Once I saw the table I asked for a different one since this was right next to the bathroom and there was a line of ppl waiting to use the bathroom. I told her we were celebrating 11th anniversary and she said she would move us to Another table as soon one became available which she did not. So we doesn’t our anniversary dinner with ppl hovering over our table the entire night waiting on the restroom which was a single stall. It honestly kind of ruined the overall experience and our anniversary especially when I booked the reservation I wrote that it was a special dinner so it wasn’t something that the host wasn’t aware of and I told them when I got there and the lady clearly did not care. If it was a regular night just out for dinner I don’t think would have cared as much

Ashram was an exceptional waiter. He was very attentive and made good recommendations. He also was very attentive and constantly checked on us. The food is exceptional and wait tines were not bad. Make a reservation in advance.

Excellent service (thank you Ashraf)! The ambiance and decor of village Yara is very cute and perfect for date night or any celebrations. The mezze was delicious, the grill wasn’t the most flavorful and all the dishes are a bit on the moderate price side. Def worth the try for their excellent wine selection and dessert!
