First and foremost, the food IS excellent! And this should have been a great spot for lunch before a 1:00pm show at the Orpheum Theatre on a Saturday afternoon. Historically, an 11:30am rsvp would give us more than enough time to get to the theatre (7 min. walk away). However being “short-staffed" and with new servers was a major drawback. All told, we really felt badly for the staff who were trying very hard.

It was quick for the theater. A very limited menu, but it was ok. Had to grab servers for napkins, water, Ketchup and the check. The hamburgers were not bad but not fabulous, French fries were tasty. Fruit was dismal, unripe pears, unripe apples and two cut up strawberries and a few blueberries. Hardly worth the price:( Thank you for being quick so we could make the show!

I did find the menu to be a little odd (ice cream on a waffle) and the only thing that sounded appetizing to me was the Egg White Omelette, which I ordered both days since nothing else appealed to me. I asked for whole eggs instead of just egg whites and so it was quite good. Unfortunately, the second day, they forgot to use the whole eggs so it was kind of bland. The portions were big, so we split one order the second day. The service was excellent, especially since we were a big wedding crowd that kept arriving and changing the seating arrangements. They were very patient and accommodating. We appreciated that they put a whole coffee pot on the table for us.

The setting is always beautiful and the hostess was really helpful. Salads were creative and very tasty. The service staff needs some training. They forgot items, needed reminding to fill our water, got orders wrong on coffees/matchas. Price point is totally fair and location is so near the Orpheum - perfect for brunch before a show!

This is a nice place to have lunch or dinner before or after a show. Wait staff was excellent, facility is beautiful. I had the club sandwich which was recommended. It was okay - I couldn't figure out why they would put mustard on it when they had a perfectly delicious sauce served separately. But it detracted from the rest of the sandwich - just too much mustard. Fries were good.

Delicious Caesar salad and club sandwich. But th layer cake was too cold so the taste was weak. Overall, very enjoyable spot with good service.
