Great food and service from Phillipe and Luis. We sat outside and they put a bunch of heat lamps on for us and had no complaints coming out to serve despite the cold. Great place and seems safe during social distancing.
As always, the food was delicious. Noise level was higher than usual due to being outside. Our waiters were attentive, even in the face of fewer staff. We want to support Vinci, so will go there as much as we can. On this day, I took family for brunch and met a friend for dinner. Great!
Beautiful restaurant!!! I loved the food and the service was good and the wine was great.
It was great!
We love Vinci the food is AMAZING
The food is amazing !
In the neighborhood but pricey for basic Americanized Italian
Outstanding service wow the staff was on point. My water glass never went empty. Great food
Vinci is our go to!... for an outdoor meal, for a special occasion or just to get great food!
Great service, good price point. Bit noisey of an area, but worth it. Finding quality places in covid is hard, and this definitely one of them!
Small crowd on a Sunday night. Excellent service, friendly staff. Excellent food.
Vinci’s Is home to me. Everything is great from the welcoming atmosphere, to service, food, and price!!!
Vinci is always the best! If you want great Italian food, great service and a safe, charming outdoor and indoor space, I highly recommend it.
Vinci is a neighborhood gem that we frequently visit. The food is consistently delicious and there is usually enough for left-overs. During the summer, the patio is the best and they are dog-friendly. We also enjoy the libations!
A pillar restaurant in our beautiful Halsted and Willow nook in Lincoln Patk. Tasty Italian.
Best restaurant. Great food, charm, professional attentive and kind service. It's our go to in Chicago!
One of the best italian food spots
We had a excellent time at this restaurant. There were five of us and we all were talking about how great our food was. Even comparing some of the dishes to our times in Italy. We even came back later for drinks because the service was so great.
Very disappointed. My Mother couldn't eat the Lobster Bisque soup as it was too spicy. She was equally dissatisfied with the ravioli being very bland with no sauce. My wives braised short rib ans pasta was average and she didn't bother to even finish. I ordered the pork chop which was also flavorless (minus the pork flavor). Even the pop was a bit flat. In a high note, the smashed potatoes were excellent! This was a night out for my Mother's birthday and she probably went home to make herself something to eat afterwards.
Excellent place. Very good food. Recommend it for dinner before a play
I had a delicious lobster bisque and very disappointing meatballs.
Food and service were very good, didn't blow me away but was yummy. Ambience was a bit on the quiet side. Decor is minimal. Not sure that I'll return but it was a pleasant dinner.
Very good food though pasta dishes were quite rich; spinach feta ravioli and short rib pappadelle.
Octopus appetizer was great, and I would order it as my entree next time.
Service was attentive but not intrusive.
It was my 15th anniversary, The food is always great! Thank you Jorge
We dined after the theater (10:00 pm). The restaurant was almost empty, but we did not feel hurried. Excellent pasta dishes and Tiramisu. Very good service, they made us feel special.
This was my first visit and I really enjoyed everything about it - from ease of making a last minute reservation in a Saturday night to the delicious food and drinks! Loved the staff. I’ll be back!
This was our first time there - Excellent food and service!
Been a while since we've been here but still good as ever
Our server, Caren, was excellent - very knowledgeable about the menu and food prep. She was also very helpful in choosing our entrees. The service was very attentive from all of the staff. The food was quite good. My wife and I each had different pasta dishes, one with seafood and one with short ribs. They were both excellent.
Everything was great. There were a few times we wanted our server and couldn’t find him.
Very nice dinner. We have been dining there for decades. The food is always good and the same with the service. With many restaurants to visit in Chicago, it is alway good to return to Vinci.
Went for Valentine’s day. Portions were small and relatively bland. Food seemed high quality, and they have lots of gluten free options, so that’s a plus. Waiter never checked on us u til meals were finished, but he seemed busy so nothing against him.
Very accommodating to allergy sensitivities. Highly recommended
Food is overpriced for mediocre quality
Pre theater dining. Food was delicious. Service exceptional. I’ll be back
The food is always wonderful at Vinci and the service is great too!
This is our favorite Go-To spot before or after a play at Steppenwolf. The food is predictably good and the menu varied.
Vinci always performs; the food is terrific; the service terrific; the ambiance terrific!
We can count on Vinci for a superb experience from start to finish!
