Absolutely amazing food and great atmosphere! Wonderful staff... would definitely recommend!

Boiled hot dogs out of the tin for nearly £7 a go.
Extortionate to say the least.
Restaurant was quiet but still took 45 minutes to receive our drinks then a further 15 mins later for the food.
Quite confusing considering the boiled hot dogs came out luke warm.
A real let down which is a shame as the Restaurant looks really inviting, if the food and service was improved it would be a great place to eat with the family.
I doubt the owners will take on board as they are obviously not interested in repeat business just the passing through holiday victims.

Food was lovely had a bit of a wait for our drinks and was a tad noisy to start the night but then quitened down pretty quick

Burger was cold, services was slow. Ribs had no fries.

Had to ask for cutlery. My hotdog has made the bun soggy so it all fell apart and had to ask for drink twice. Was disappointed with what we got for the cost too

My granddaughter and i had our first visit here in July 2020 and now every time we visit Blackpool we come for a burger. We have never been disappointed by the food or the service.

Waited 10 minutes on arrival for a seat, when sat our orders were taken to then take half an hour to even get our drinks before a further 20 minutes for our food.

We had a booking for 5.30 as we were attending the jersey beats show at 7.pm. On the viva website it informed that we would have the table for 45 minutes, it took over 50 minutes and the food still had not arrived. We spoke to staff who apologised for the delay. We asked to speak to the manager and explained that we had to be in the viva show bar venue for 7.00 He was rude, arrogant and completely indifferent to providing any assistance. It took the marketing manager from the show bar minutes to solve the problem. She arranged for our food to be had in the show bar, She was most apologetic, and rectified the situation. The manager of the diner is doing the company no favours by mismanaging, he is clearly out of his depth and does the venue a disservice.

We were kept waiting 1hr 15 mins for ordered food on a PRE-BOOKED table. Ordered 2 americanos which were thrown at us, no saucers, cutlery or milk/sugar. No one checked on us until we asked where our food was.
We were seated at our 'reserved' 'precisely timed' table at 5.30pm which was near the door, all other tables full. We didnt get our food until 6.45pm. Customers queued quite near to the table from outside without reservations and were seated.
Covid protection was not sufficiently distanced, nor were we asked to sanitize hands on entry, although there was a very dirty looking, sparce bottle of gel on a stand near to the desk on entry.
It spoiled a very special evening for me and my husband who were seeing the Jersey Beats show adjoining.
If we had known we could have had alternative bar food (we thought it was just main meals) in Viva showroom, we would have done that as we were left with 5 minutes to eat 2 burgers and couldn't have dessert.

Food was sloppy, looked like they just rushed it. Portions look nothing like the pictures. Heard really good things about the restaurant but was very disappointed when we ordered.

Brilliant meals and the portions are massive really good value for what you get..

I pre-booked a table for 2 on the website hoping for a booth but was put in the bar area - a couple were seated after us but got served food and drinks before anyone had even come to our table to take our order. I had to go to the bar after 15 mins and ask if I could order food and drinks but was told it’s table service only and someone would come to take our order.

Staff were darting all over and I had to stop someone walking past us and asked if I could place an order - he replied “yeah I’ll be back in 1 minute” - he did come back to service another party next to us but darted off never to be seen again! 35 mins we were sat and after 2 prompts to the staff we left without even having a drink. Such a shame as I’ve been during August with my daughter and a similar thing happened but I thought I would give it another chance (I appreciate busy times/staffing levels/etc) and suggested it as the place to try that night with someone else I was out with but it was even worse service the 2nd time around. Such a shame as the place is lovely inside but....once bitten, twice shy!

Lovely visit to see the Illuminations. It was whilst the covid restrictions weren’t put in place and with heavy rain outside. They let us keep our booth for a few hours so we could have a leisurely meal drinks, cocktails for me. Kids loved it, hubby loved the match that was showing on the screens. By the time we left the rain eased off and we could walk off all the lovely food.

Service great, food excellent, staff friendly. My only small gripe here is that while the food portion sizes were nice (I ordered burger & chips), there wasn't much in the way of "free" sides, like a burger coming with chips, dip, salad etc. I had a burger on a plate and chips in a bowl, and I ordered both separately. Other restaurants would provide these side items on your plate - it just helps with presentation and value for money. Other than that, yeah fantastic atmosphere and music, loved it.

Second visit here! One of our favs in Blackpool! Food is unreal!

Service very slow was at table for around 15 mins and we had to ask for our order to be taken. Guy behind bar was very rude to other staff members. Was shouting at one we were at large booth opposite and heard him clearly. He could have taken the poor guy aside if there was an issue. Food was okay not great. Cocktails were average.

Slow service, asked for sauces on side, couldn’t sort it on their iPad, tryed to show us why it wouldn’t let them order it???????. Toilets need a revamp, especially toilets seats yuck!. Wouldn’t go back or recommend to anyone.

Absolutely awful seating. There was less than a foot from the seat back to the table. We had checked the menu on their website before booking but on arrival were given a sheet of paper with about a quarter of the menu on it. If you didn't want a burger or a hot dog then you would need to do what we done and leave.

Booked the diner with my grandchildren. Restaurant fairly quiet, food not great, felt like a fast food restaurant rather than a sit in diner. Milkshakes were good but for sit in it was served in plastic take away containers.

Service and attention from staff was excellent. Terrific value for money

Service really quick. Food not really to our liking but that could just be personal taste. My 12 and 7 year olds wouldn’t even use the ladies toilets they were in such a mess

Starter - chicken wings with "spicy jalapeno sauce" (actually came with buffalo sauce which was fine as I like it) - starter was really nice!
Main - Mac and cheese, pasta was hard and when I told the first waiter about it he didnt even acknowledge what I had said. Second waiter asked about our food and again told him about my pasta to which he apologised for and said someone else had the same complaint! (So why not fix it) Also far too many spring onions.

We had 1 juice and 2 cocktails each. Waiting time wasnt the best for these and we also had to ask for cutlery for both starters and mains and also napkins.

The waiter that served us couldn’t muster a smile. We weren’t given any cutlery, and when we asked for some it was as if we’d asked for the world. I guess we were expected to eat all our food with our fingers. The food was ok though.

Service was good, food was ok but over priced for what we got.

Was my grandsons 3rd birthday and they sang to him and gave him a cake which was a lovely touch. The staff are all amazing, the place is immaculate and the food is outstanding.

Food was tasty but not much variety on the menu! Staff Were lazy and wore their PPE improperly which was worrying. Hard to catch staff's attention and quiet noisy.
Ladies toilets were scruffy and dirty.
This branch has defiantly gone down hill since we last visited would not visit i again

Staff on arrival and throughout service very good.
Food was ok not the best or described as I expected it to look.
So that is the reason I don't think I was good value for money.
Premises looked good and clean

Good food for step daughters birthday, ice cream sundays like milk otherwise we had a fab time, great service.

Despite having booked a table we were seated in the bar area with the football on the large screen really loudly. We visited with our four year old son and the men seated in the bar next to us watching the football were using and language which was really uncomfortable hearing for us and our child. I appreciate it was busy however the 25 min wait before our order was taken followed by a further wait for our food of 40 minutes was completely unacceptable. Added to that no cutlery was brought with the meals so we had a further wait. We were really looking forward to the reservation after a recommendation and were most disappointed and will not return.

We came to Blackpool for 3 days and ate at Viva Diner on 2 of those days. We felt very safe and Covid secure. The staff were helpful and friendly, the service was excellent and the food was very good.

We were seated at a dirty table, but figured it would be cleaned when we were served. After 25 minutes we hadn’t had anyone come to the table, despite there being a lot of staff stood around talking to each other.

A mandatory mask rule was enforced when not at the table, due to Covid-19 regulations. This was sensible, but staff were not adhering to it, instead using their masks as chinstraps.

We decided to leave after watching a waiter but his hands down the front of his trousers to scratch, immediately before picking up receipts and drinks for other customers, in full view of both other staff and customers

I can’t fairly review the food as we left before ordering, but the hygiene issues were enough for us to not want to eat here.
