Vue - Omni La Costa Resort & Spa
Disappointing experience, food and service were very average.
The kids buffet was brilliant! Wish more restaurants did this!
Good food, great views!
Lovely setting for outdoor dining overlooking the golf course. Food was good, but not great. For example, one dish was served warm but not hot. I think the venue is fine for what it is and there is good variety on the menu.
Expensive, bland food, horrible service with gratuity added to check.
As always very good food and excellent service. Try the brioche french toast. Eggs Benedict also wonderful. Love the side of potatoes, so tender and not loaded with extras.
Desserts were delicious. Food was over cooked per my request but dessert make up for it. Fries and Brussels sprouts were yummy!
It's nothing special. Seating was a little awkward. My wife and I went on a date and we were seated at a 6 person table. Not very intimate. This place is better for a family. Food is average but over priced. Service was also average. Nothing to brag about.
Love this place! The view and the ambiance is amazing. I wish they had a more diverse selection on the menu. It’s very limited but the quality is great!
We live in SD North County and have eaten at Vue many times and would highly recommend it for a relaxing resort dining experience. The large umbrella-covered patio is the highlight of the place. We go back for its flavorful food and for a great views of the golf course and surrounding valley at the resort. The food is well prepared and reasonably priced, considering that this is a hotel resort restaurant. There are enough menu choices that most will find something they like. Even if you are not staying at the resort, this is a place we go back to for weekend getaway meals.
The Vue located on lower level off the lobby, either stairs or elevator. When entering the Vue
and eating outside, just looked dirty, saw food on floor. Our server was pleasent but didn't
remember a few things I memtion to her. I ordered the fish Toco, which I ask for not blacked,
came just like I order. However, there was not much fish and tons of slaw. I ask for the brocolli
salad, came with very little dressing, the brocolli was to hard to cut. My friends meal was ok.
Was still hungray after leaving (didn't eat much) went to Market Place and purchased Oatmeal
for dinner. Unfortunelly for families that is really the only resestauant, unless they to go Bob's Steak house. Would be expensive for some families. Restaurant needs up dating and better menu choices.
Service and food was great!!
Gorgeous locale, tasty salads and burgers, and excellent service. This place never disappoints. Wonderful place to take in the outstanding view and relax.
Jesus our server was amazing, he went above and beyond to get us the wine list from the other restaurant on the property. The view at Vue was beautiful.
The food was delicious, we will definitely be back
The food was great. My only wish is that we could have enjoyed our drinks before our meals came. Next time we know not to order both at the same time.
Father’s Day lunch with my family. Exquisite time. Can’t wait to return!
Really a bad experience. The food was really poor. The waiter was nice but aloof. The place was empty.
View and service were both amazing! My diet is a little restrictive at the moment and my server was extremely helpful. I'll be back again.
Prime rib burger was fantastic. So was the tiramisu. Hubby had tuna melt and wasn’t that great.
The staff and our waitress are very friendly and amiable. As we asked, they reserved a seat with great view. Grilled chicken is delicious and will definitely want to go again.
Great value with great views
If you are looking for a nice patio dining experience, this is the place. The food is nice with gluten free selections, and the service is outstanding.
I decided to take my family here for an early Christmas family breakfast before the holidays since some family members were in town that we wouldn't be able to see later on. I made the reservation online through open table which was not an issue. According to their hours of operation, breakfast is served from 7:00am-11:00am. It also states "Order off the daily pancake menu or chef’s calendar of benedicts over a sunrise breakfast". I made a reservation for 10:00am. Only was it after we ordered our drinks and headed to the buffet did we find out that NO breakfast was being served. Instead it was a savory type of lunch buffet and not at all what anyone really wanted to eat but at this point we felt stuck. Options of fish, risotto and other savory meals is not what anyone was in the mood for at 10:00am. I brought my frustration up to the staff in a nice and calm matter. Absolutely nobody seamed to care at all. I ended up spending over $250 on some strawberries, small grilled cheese kids bites and a few drinks. We then had to go to another restaurant for breakfast. I was extremely disappointed and expected much more from this caliber of restaurant.
Love the food and the view :) highly recomemded! Would love to go back and invite friends !
