Unfortunately it was a really disappointing experience. I’ve been here previously and the food & service was exceptional, this latest visit was the opposite. The service was really poor other than the hostess who seated us, she was friendly and engaging. The food was well below average other than the octopus entree. Our bread was stale, quail entree overcook and both mains lacked any flavour or seasoning. The chocolate marquise was ok but the parfait was not. It was rock solid. I had really high hopes from previous experiences but it was such a disappointment, particularly at $90 per person.

Fabulous food and drinks and very generous portions. Loved the set menu options. Staff were friendly and very knowledgeable and the extras were very much appreciated. Wil ll definately be going back ❤

Excellent service, gorgeous location. We struggled a little with such a limited main selection, and some dishes having spices that weren't explained all that well in the menu and I would have preferred my roast chicken dish to be cooked a little more.

Beautiful food cooked to perfection. Service was friendly, prompt and the waiter had good knowledge of the meals and which ones were popular. Overlooking the Brisbane river and night lights. Would highly recommend for any sort of occasion!

Disappointed New Year’s Eve dinner 2020. 4 guests at a total of $700 plus $150 for beverage fell short for a restaurant of this standard.
Food was average at best , wine quality & selection was not great Our expectations were high at this price point and surprised Three Blue Ducks think that what we were served was acceptable at this price ! Prawns for entree were dry, chicken chosen for main was again dry and serving size was ridiculously large, couldn’t finish the meal and it’s about quality not quantity. Would not go back , extremely disappointing as we have visited one of their other restaurants, with a very different experience.

Given it was NYE expected a few delays - but service was prompt and food delicious. A bit pricey, but great a location nonetheless for memorable end to an eventful 2020.

We had a great night. Everything was perfect. It was our wedding anniversary and we were greeted on arrival with a cheery “Happy Anniversary”. Great attention to detail!!

The restaurant had a nice view of the Brisbane River and Cultural Centre. The food was average and service was not good. We asked for a bottle of wine, however, they gave us a wine that was a different blend and year to what was written on their menu and didn't notify us. After we told the staff it wasn't what we ordered, they told us they didn't have that wine in stock so we switched to a different bottle. As they had already poured the wine into glasses, we kept one glass on the table as it had already been sipped. They ended up charging us $16 for this glass on top of the bottle of wine.
The food was average for the price we paid. We ordered the heirloom tomatoes for entree which was $24. The plate was just a tomato that had been cut into pieces with some dips and seasoning.

We found our food a bit bland and the meat slightly dry, but overall good. The wine list was great and service was excellent.

Lovely food and wonderful service. It was a real pleasure to dine on Boxing Day.

Such a great location and lovely decor. Food was delicious.

Dinner was good. The Moreton Bay Bugs were a bit tasteless but the oysters were among the best I’ve ever had. The lamb and the sole were also good. The wine selection was also a very good list with a number of interesting wines, mostly Australian. The view and ambience were excellent as were the staff.

My wife and young daughter celebrated Christmas 2020 at Three Blue Ducks. We have eaten here before and knew the meal would be great. We had a choice of Starters/Mains and Desserts and whether we went for a 2 or 3 course was our choice. We were advised by the waiter to choose the Starter and Main and if we were still hungry then choose a dessert. Great advice! The food was plentiful and perfectly cooked. For Starters we had the Quail, Charred Octopus and Lamb followed by the Rib Eye, Lemon Sole and Moreton Bay Bugs. Sides of roasted potatoes, roasted sweet potato and Cos Salad accompanied. All our meals were delicious and substantial in size. So much that we passed on the dessert! We all cant wait to return to Three Blue Ducks. Its reputation as one of Brisbane's best restaurants is sustained by its consistent quality and first rate service.

I was so disappointed with Christmas and the quality of the produce .

The meal for a festive lunch was poor - the ham and prawns were from a cheap selection- I buy better ham for a ham sandwich.

The chicken was undercooked and the pork was so rubber it was unable to be cut with the cutlery provided.

This was a epic fail for the price - the festive feels were also completely void.

It absolutely did meet my or my guest expectations.

This was our second Christmas at the Three Blue Ducks at the W Brisbane. We thought it was wonderful. Great food; ambience; service and the staff go out of their way to make it a wonderful day.

Food was very average; it lacked flavour and especially the lamb: baba ganoush was bland and flavourless and the eggplant on the same dish was bitter and inedible. Service was great, our waiter was there when needed and very knowledgeable. Don’t think I’d be back. I had high expectations especially considering it’s in the W.

Great quality food with excellent service and views. A very comfortable atmosphere and relaxed place to enjoy dinner and a drink.

Laminated menus (yuk), limited food offerings and amounts and to be frank some very average ingredients. Staff were very good though.

A great dinner with a wonderful view of the river. We all enjoyed our food and how the tastes were put together. One guest even had her whole fish deboned beautifully for her at the table. The meals are very generous in size. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful about the food and the wine and we had exceptional service. Somewhere I plan to revisit to try some of the other items on the menu.

Amazing food at a very reasonable price ($90 for 3 courses - drinks not included). Would highly recommend the grilled octopus - delicious flavours. Already looking forward to going back!

Highly recommend Three Blue Ducks. Food was amazing and cater very well to our three children.

This is the first time I have visited the W hotel and I really enjoyed the vibe. The dinner at three blue ducks was exceptional. I will be back for sure.

My wife did not receive what she ordered for starters (however, she loved what she got - the pumpkin hummus), and we were forgotten about when it came to dessert - we waited a long time and watched other patrons leave
The food was delicious, and the setting was beautiful.
The octopus starter was delicious and the sole was amazing The pumpkin hummus was heavenly and the rib eye steak was melt in the mouth.
The desert could have been so much more, but a rush job left is wanting.

Very good, will be back. Great venue and great food.

We had a fantastic time at Three Blue Ducks for our end of year work dinner. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and a wide selection of dishes on the menu. There was something to suit everyone. The Moreton Bay bugs were amazing! Service was great too and the staff ensured we had a great time. We'll definitely be coming back again.

Great venue for ‘Celebrations’ especially Christmas and shared food concept good for groups.

3rd time dining at 3 Blue Ducks and already looking forward to the 4th!

An energetic noise level is not necessarily a good thing - the venue is noisy and makes conversation difficult.
I was extremely disappointed to be shown to the only table without padded seating - we had an early booking and I would have liked the option to chose the more comfortable options, particularly since two members of our group had recent surgeries.
Food great and portions generous, just wish I could have been seated comfortably.
