Wagamama - Prudential Center
Food was amazing but service was pretty bad. We did not get enough water glasses for the whole table for half the meal, our check came with the food and even though we were there for a birthday waiter didn't even give us the chance to order dessert.
Fantastic fresh food prepared with pride. Great options for vegan, vegetarian, and flexitarian folks. The waitstaff is always pleasant and attentive.
Superior service and delicious food. New Duck ramen noodle bowl was well executed; broth was good to the last drop. Chicken curry was also very tasty.
Great menu, especially the Raman and Bao. A little noisy but worth it.
Food was good. Service was really slow. We had to stop other waitstaff to get plates (for shared appetizers), water, and our bill. Our waiter was friendly, but disappeared and there were only 18 other people in the whole restaurant eating at that time. We asked for our parking to be validated. He took the ticket, but when got it back, it was not validated (it was too late as didn't discover until paying at the exit)
I sat at one of the tables outside the restaurant. Wagamama is located in the PRU right near the entrance to Saks Fifth Avenue.
The service here is outstanding especially considering the high volume of diners. I had the Donburi with chicken teriyaki over rice with veggies and an optional egg on top. I ended the meal with coconut ice cream with a side of passion sauce. It was a perfect lunch. This is a popular chain with good reason. If you plan to go for lunch, I recommend reserving on Open Table at 11:30am.
They were very accommodating in substituting more veggies on place of rice to help us stay on our Whole30 plan. Food was delicious. Great seasoning. Our server could tell us dishes which had a little more heat- which we were looking for. When we move to Eat To Live plan, after Whole30, Wagamama can become one of our favorite dine out options.
Love this place, my husband and I often come here to eat, food is great for the price.
Unfortunately did we not receive the greatest service this time, our waiter served food I dirty bowels, and we had to wait for new portions, furthermore she never came back to check on table, so it took awhile for us to pay. But this is the first time we had problems with the service here, so hopefully it was just a “bad” day.
We enjoy the food and place, and would eat here again ☺️
So, as I was eating with my girlfriend, I saw a mouse run up the wall and hide in the corner. Then as I was paying the bill, the mouse ran back down to the floor and presumably across the floor and wall to the back. After telling the waitress, it seemed like it was a problem they had seen before and hadn’t done anything about yet. That’s the reason for the 1 star review.
outstanding menu. a little pricey, but worth every penny.
the chili squid is the perfect appetizer. not chewy. cooked well. dipping sauce perfect companion.
drink: blueberry, carrot and ginger ..like a smoothie. awesome and unique.
yaki soba is the best i ever had. perfect ingredients, fkavor blend, texture. veggies very fresh and still had a snap. finished with ginger ice cream. perfect ending.
service was outstanding.
VERY noisey , difficult to have a conversation. not a private space.
Food was fresh and HOT! Service was excellent. Waiting staff had great knowledge of menu. Will visit again.
New Years - great service. Great food - just loud.
Waitress was very willing to help us choose our food.
Delicious!!! Ramen dishes had great broth, especially short rib! Shrimp with kimchee was good, nicely spiced, but oily. Pad Thai and Katsu were well done. Never disappoints!
The food was really good, unfortunately the service was awful. Missing food and drinks, and most of the time the waitress was missing too.
Food and atmosphere are wonderful, however, you need to fix the noise problem. This has been an issue since you opened a few years ago. It is easy to put in sound-absorbing material (walls, ceiling). People need to be able to hear more than just the people sitting immediately next to them.
Excellent service, the food was really fresh and the vibe is fun.
The food at Wagamama is really good, especially for a chain. Their ramen is on par with some of the specialty ramen places. The service was excellent. The restaurant is a bit loud for older folks, but did get better when we asked them to turn the music down. The bathroom was the weakest spot, I was surprised at how tired and worn it looked.
Entrees did not come out at the same time. 1 entree didn't arrive until the other 3 guests had finished theirs
They brought us our food at different times (30 minutes apart)
The food is good but slightly bland for my taste
Portion sizes are large
Prices are high and not justified by the food quality and ambiance
really good food; its not cheap fast food, but not expensive either. filling portions and good variety - I love the ramen soups here.
Fast and good!
Great as always!
Food was great, server was very nice. We come often while shopping and it’s always been great. Love the bao buns!!
Good menu selection, very good quality on ingredients and cooked well. Service was excellent; wait staff helpful & pleasant. Restaurant bright and clean.
Our teenage girls love Wagamama, especially the ramen. Dishes were light, and had good spice for the adult dishes. Def will be going back.
Wagamama at the Pru is always busy. We had a reservation and were able to walk past the constant line of people waiting. Friendly waitstaff. Food was good, although the Tuna appetizer was nothing stellar. Would not order it again.
We ordered the spicy chicken ramen. Was extremely salty and more like warm rather than it being hot. I was starving and managed to eat it. My husband didn’t end up finishing it. We added lime and extra chili powder to try to balance the taste. Didn’t work out so well. And the mini ginger ales were $4, ridiculous. I’ve been there before and ordered the original ramen. It was very hot and the broth was great but this time it was awful. It’s like a hit or miss there. Should be consistent with flavor.
Great place! Fresh, delicious dishes, and great service. Reasonably priced. Only complaint (and it's not really one) is that it is a bit loud... :)
Near to Symphony Hall where we were headed to a concert. Didn't sit at one of the long tables but were given a booth. Had a delicious fresh juice and my husband had a ginger beer from the UK. We both had the Teppanyaki dishes but with different noodles; he had Udon and I had Soba. Both nicely spiced and quick. We had very attentive service. Cost for meal is moderate . Restaurant is noisy, so be prepared.
The food was fresh and delicious. Vegan options were clearly documented. Only drawback was the noise level
total disappointment. the food wasn't very good, the whole place looks a bit rundown, the bathroom floor was sticky. i'd been to Wagamama in London and had a good experience. Here, in Boston, it was just average. I can't say anything good about it, at all.
The food was great and we hope to go back for another meal soon. The restaurant was a little noisy but other than that everything was great. I would love to see a location in the Chicagoland area.
Sure, it was fine but it was not like the Wagamamas we've been to in Europe. This one seemed to be Americanized.
This place gets crowed quick, but you won't have to wait too long. The food is great here!
Our server was fantastic the food was so fresh and delicious. It was our first time there but our son's second time. He requested to go for his birthday and was so excited to share it with us. Would go again for sure!
This is probably one of my new favorite restaurants, I definitely will be going back.
Matcha Beer is something to look forward to for sure! Most of the food we ordered was good in terms of quantity and taste. My complaint is with the bao buns which were under cooked.
Nice waitress, food overpriced $15+tax+tip for veg noodle ramen way over the top. Interesting, Waga’s is cheap as chips at home in the UK.
Lack of soft furnishings in the dining room, makes for a very loud eating environment. The fengshui seems out of kilter.
Place ok, but far from totes amaze!
