I love the atmosphere of this restaurant & customer service was very good. Granted I’m not a lover of steak, so tried the pork loin. This was pretty tasty, & New York Strip was also good. Having been to other steakhouses, Walter’s had less variety in the menu & wasn’t quite as good value. It was great to try & a perfect restaurant for a fancy date night or other occasion.

Walter's is like visiting an old friend. You enjoy the experience immensely and don't want it to end. Damon's service was exceptional.

Delicious food, steak was very good, great wine selection, comfortable atmosphere and dinning experience overall. A very enjoyable night, only comment or critic, I personally believe Walter’s need to work on the pricing to be more competitive with other steak restaurants in Brisbane. The variety and options are growing in Brisbane, allowing customers a greater selection of quality steakhouse restaurants.

Thanks to the bar manager who knew what I needed, the waiter was really good too. Excellent service and ambience. Food was amazing too.

This visit wasn’t too bad, Three of our steaks were over cooked, not bad Enough to send back, just not on point like previous visits! Still an enjoyable meal

The food is good and the service excellent. As with many restaurants, the wine is where the margins are made and so the overall cost can take a dinner into the expensive range without going beyond two courses. The side dishes are generous but also add to the cumulative bill.

Terrific quality food and very attentive service from the staff, from selecting dishes and sides through to the best matched wine for chosen meals. Not sure that I've ever tasted a better steak in Brisbane - will definitely be back again!

I was pleasantly surprised by Walters. Excellent service and very good food. Well prepared and tasty. There were two in our group with challenging dietary requirements. Walters staff were very helpful in guiding them through the menu.

Been waiting to go for ages, absolutely loved it and the booking guy was awesome and so accommodating, best steak I’ve had and the fitout is so cool, totally conducive to a good sit down lunch and session with friends, cannot wait to go back

Waiters don't pay too much attention to your table... for example, had to top up our own wine ... lucky the wine was kept very close to our table.


food is absolutely phenomenal

Entrees were overall disappointing mostly too sweet. Dress code very poor with customers in t shirts and shorts. Too much noise for a restaurant representing itsel as a fine dining establishment

Great menu to choose from and the food we ordered was well prepared and presented as well as being delicious to eat. Extensive wine list including great choices by the glass. Comfortable and quiet bar for pre and posy meal drinks. Best of all was the attentive, friendly and welcoming staff. An excellent lunch visit all round.

We went for New Years Eve and had a fantastic experience. The food is incredible and steaks cooked to perfection. Rory is very attentive and quite a hoot! He took care of us the first time we went here and his service cannot be faulted. It can get a tad noisy at full service, but the door side is quieter. We won’t hesitate to come back.

Steak was excellent, sides were nothing special and lacked flavour Service was good except for 2 lost drink orders.

We dined at Walters Steak House o for New Years Eve dinner and loved every part of our meal. The service was top notch, atmosphere great and food delectable.

My first visit to Walters Steakhouse was for my Dads 60th birthday and it was such a great experience! Mitch was our server and he was so lovely and knowledgeable. The food was outstanding! I wish I had found this place sooner. The Staff even put a candle on my Dads dessert and sung happy birthday. 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

Great good service and good value. Knowledgeable wait staff great wine list. No fuss quality food in the older English style. Reminds me of the Ivy Covent garden. the Porterhouse is not to be missed.

Everything was perfect, both service and food. We went with the speciality porterhouse with dutch potatoes and cauliflower gratin. All amazing, perfectly cooked and delicious. Highly recommended!

Our dinner at Walter's was superb, from the natural oysters to start, through the house steak to the peace pie desert. We very much enjoyed our visit and appreciated the service from the staff. The wines, a Californian chardonnay and an Italian Brunello, were very special. The restaurant is very much like a New York Steakhouse in vibe and cuisine.

Walter's Steakhouse always delivers perfection....the service is always fantastic and Rory our waiter is the best!!
.... the food Devine.... I especially loved the dessert which was apple strudel with vanilla ice cream ....delicious! And of course the shared porterhouse steak was magnificent.... perfectly cooked and served with the yummiest mix of vegetables .... I love this restaurant😍
