Wildfire Grill House
Overall we enjoyed our dinner. The Caesar salad was unique and delicious. The Calamari was cooked perfectly. Our steaks were very good. Side vegetables were a little disappointing. The cocktails were fun and delicious and very reasonably priced.
Josh took great care to make our special day was extra special! Great service and ambiance! Amazing food.
Venue is clean and nice, however quite empty. That should’ve been our first hint. The server was lovely, however the food was almost inedible. For the prices, I’m shocked. I have no problem paying $40+ for a steak, however when I ask for medium-rare it should not come to the table raw & cold. The lobster used for the $10 Lobster Mashed Potatoes was not fresh, I couldn’t even stomach it. Would definitely not return or recommend.
We enjoyed the ambience. One of my sons ordered the 20oz rib eye and it was very thin. I expected a thicker cut of meat. My other boys ordered the filet mignon and ate every bit. I had a pasta meal with steak and the steak was tough. Overall not bad but spent US$180 for 4 with 1 glass of wine and 2 desserts so for me, not worth the expense.
We try and visit this restaurant
once a month. Everything is excellent from the food and service
Good experience good food, a little pricey but thats ok
Delicious food and amazing service. Very nice place for a steak dinner
Delicious as always, first time having the beef tenderloin gnocchi, melt in your mouth, decadent!!!
Did not stay for a meal, very noisy and was told a party of 27 was expected.
It was good as usual but I’m disappointed to find out you are becoming a wild fire.
Came here for Mother’s Day dinner while visiting Niagara from Toronto. The menu looked good so we decided to give it a try over Morton’s Steakhouse. Once arrived (Saturday night at 8pm) the restaurant had about 8 people eating in it, it was also located in a a low end hotel. The restaurant name is very deceitful as the name is the exact same as the famous Meat Market in NYC and Miami. So we sat on 2nd level of restaurant which was a ghost town. We asked for the lights to be dimmed as it was bright like you’re in a cafeteria, our server said sure and didn’t. We asked and she forgot a again or just couldn’t get the lights dimmed. So that was a fail and we just gave up. The menu was good I’d give it a 7/10. They forgot to make a part of our order so we had to wait a while for it which is weird since there’s a whole staff serving only 10 people in the restaurant. The server was nice but you can tell she was nervous because she kept talking a lot. It was a bit awkward. It’s unfortunate the restaurant is located in such a crappy location, they’d do better if they relocated and up’d the training on proper serving. We’d definitely wouldn’t have gone there if we didn’t think it was the American Meat Market chain.
Very expensive for what you actually get. Plate is near to empty. I ordered a ribeye and fingerling potatoes and it doesn’t come with other vegetables, not even green beans, just a bit of potatoes and the steak which was well done when I asked for medium. Very disappointing.
Highly recommend! Amazing authentic food will definitely go again!
Everything was great about this place. Everyone was very friendly, prompt and the food was AMAZING.
Not great food has groupon fixed price menu
Lots of food just not that great I had the strip steak and my wife had the chicken
Terrific service but food was bland
For the overall price
Sorry to say but will not return
Food and service was excellent! Looking forward to our next visit.
Waiter was good. Food outstanding. The ceasar salad was wonderful, and the cheese was over the top. Good quality restaurant
Everything was very good. Had the 5 course meal option and everything came out warm and very tasty. Sara was our server and was great in all aspects.
The food was delicious and fresh. Our server Elizabeth was wonderful.
This place was just Amazing! Hidden little Gem in Niagara Falls Canada
Initially I went to The Neat Market for Wagyu beef and that was it. I wanted to scratch Kobe beef off my bucket list and Wagyu is as close as I’ve seen on these parts. So I was ready to enjoy a beautiful Ribeye Wagyu steak dinner.
But...we definitely got so much more out of our dining experience.
First we were greeted by a very friendly and very versed gentleman as we walked in. (I didn’t get his name and I wished I had. Sorry) but he greeted us. Talked a while. Told us about the restaurant and the chef and answered all the questions I had. Great first impression. That was followed by our second great impression. The ambience. WOW! Looks great at a glance when you first walk in and sit down. You start to look around. The fireplace. The artwork. The warmth and charm of the restaurant. The wine barrel arched ceiling when you walk in. The very seductive cognac and scotch behind the beautiful glass showcase. First class for sure.
Then came out third impression. Sarah ... our amazing server. She was very friendly and bubbly. You know from the start she believes in this restaurant and all of their food offerings. She even took all of my questions like a pro. I was like a kid at a candy store that’s never had candy. I had so many questions and she answered all of them. Then came the food. Out 4th and final impression. And as everything was just perfect up to that point. The Wagyu Ribeye delivered everything I had imagined in my mind and then some.
Yes. It’s a higher end restaurant. (Hey...they cook Wagyu here) but it was a very relaxed comfortable setting. Not pretentious like some may expect at this type of restaurant.
I keep wanting to say steakhouse. But that is a broad expression. This WAS NOT A STEAKHOUSE. It was a complete experience that Sarah and Mt. Nameless (I’m really sorry I didn’t get your name) shared with us.
I went there for Wagyu. I left there feeling like I was invited to their home to share an amazing meal. I’m local. So I know I’m a regular noe
This place was a good find in the Falls. Stayed at Great Wolf Lodge with my 2 young boys and needed some better food! This was definitely better! Steak was a bit over done as was the Ahi tuna but they were very tolerant of my loud kids so I didn’t mention it. Drinks were OK. Our Server was AWESOME!
Exceptional service and fabulous food. The staff go out of their way to make sure you are completely satisfied.
This is our go to restaurant every time we come to Niagara Falls.
Definitely a must try!!!
We had wanted to visit this restaurant for a long time (Niagara Falls residents)....We were the only people in the restaurant (Friday at 5 pm)....Service took a long time....food was cold (2 ribeyes and a filet along with sides of fries, mushrooms and loaded baked potatoes)....steaks are served on skillets with plates that you can transfer your steak to which is silly, just give me my steak on the serving plate....also skillets were not hot so did not serve any purpose....being the only customers it seems would be the best time to ensure food was hot and service was prompt, but this was not the case....we tried it out of curiosity but would not go back again
Food was great as well as service. A bit pricey but ok for special occasions.
We had a lovely New Years Eve dinner at The Meat Market! We came from out of town and risked going to a new restaurant but let me tell you it didn’t disappoint. The steak we both had was one of the best steaks we’ve ever had. Very impressed with The Meat Market Niagara.
Great wagyu steak, rest of the meal was ok, nothing over the ordinary. The prices are a bit steep based on the overall meal quality in my opinion.
Overall was a great experience, the staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was nice, aside from the initial aroma of pool chlorine as it’s right opposite of the pool from the hotel.
appetizers were excellent, server was pleasant, lipstick on glass before we used it, charged us some tourist tax..born here! Not impressed.
I asked for a well done steak, it was rare when it arrived, I sent it back and they cooked it to the point of charcoal!!
The server tried to over charge us $100, however when I pointed it out she did fix the problem.
Won’t be going back there!
I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but even with a groupon deal, the value was terrible. Soup wasn’t even warm, neither of us could eat the caeser salad , one slice of burnt bacon doesn’t cut it, and the ‘Waygu’ steak was not even close to being 8oz ( cooked rare) and was the most bland excuse for a piece of meat I have ever tasted. If you got a steak from No Frills and tossed it in a pan with no seasoning, that is exactly how it tasted.
Server was very nice though.
Bread was good too.
Bad smell when my wife and I walked in. Asked server about is she said she did not notice a smell. After she left table we over heard table of 5 men beside us tell the same server their steak smelled really bad and felt like mush. We got up and walked out. Such a bad experience
took 2.5 hours for our 4 course meal on Saturday. Only three servers working. Everyone dining around us kept looking at each other and couldn’t believe the wait times we all were experiencing. Server blamed it on the kitchen, didn’t even come to check on our entrees. Gnocchi wasn’t even cooked all the way. Very dissatisfied
Preface: We reserved a group of 9 people (ended up being 11) for 7pm on a Friday during Restaurant Week.
Arrival: We arrived at 7pm. Offered menus and water. Waitress said she'd return for drink orders.
Pre-Meal: Waitress came back (10mins), explained the 5-course menu (which everyone ordered), took drink orders.
Drinks: Arrived about 15mins later (the majority ordered wine by the bottle). Told that bread would be served soon. Food orders taken.
1st course: Maple Butternut Squash soup. Warm, very good. 1st soup arrived about 5 mins before the last soup was served. Which means 1st person waited about 5mins since half the table hadn't received their course). Bread was brought after the soup. 2nd wine bottle ordered.
2nd course: Green Salad. Pomegranate seeds, goat's cheese, arugula, sweet dressing. Good. Some chose Caesar salad (which arrived about 10mins before the green salads), again waiting to eat since course served sporatically. Glasses empty.
3rd course: Shared app. Goat Cheese Fritter with honey and walnuts. Very good. Apps served sporatically, 20mins of waiting. 2nd bottle arrives after we go to bar ourselves.
4th course: Main. Wagyu Steak, roast garlic mash potatoes. Steak order medium, received medium. Was warm, mash complemented nicely. Some said their steaks were overcooked, but was not my case. 20mins waited.
5th course: Dessert. Cheesecake, with blueberry coulis. Good, ended meal nicely. Glasses empty.
Bills: Gratuity added (10+ in group). We asked to have DMF tax removed (we're all Niagara residents), server said they couldn't do that. We asked to speak to manager. Server came back to say manager would give 6$ back (from his pocket) to 1 of us, since the manager knew how much it affected this one person (it didn't bother them more than any other party member), said he couldn't remove the DMF for anyone else. We paid our bills (DMF included) without the manager ever coming to talk to us (but roamed around while server spoke to us).
Great atmosphere and food. We went as part of Lundy’s Lane restaurant week and the 4 course meal options offered great selection. The food was fantastic. It was a nice relaxing date night.
Went with my wife for restaurant week, service and food were excellent.
Sarah, our server, was outstanding. Food was delicious. Steaks cooked to perfection
Great food. Our server was wonderful. Came in with a 4 course meal voucher. She was a able to give me a vegan meal which was awesome. My boyfriend said the steak was amazing.
We had come to the restaurant for first time after purchasing a Groupon voucher. The voucher has said it was for a grand prix fixe meal including two sides one appetizer two entrees and one dessert. We asked about price restrictions and were told there was no either way we ordered lower priced items. We also had 3 drinks as well and when we received the bill they had taken off $99 for the grand Prix fixe and we were charged for our dessert that was supposed to be included and a sauce for my chicken meal that had said it was a choice of one or the other and there was a charge for veggie instead for what I do not know the veegue came with my chicken entree. The only extras we ordered not on voucher was drinks and we were charged another $70 after the $103 I paid to Groupon. The meal was good but I am really disappointed about the bill if you will not honour the voucher fully it should be said before we ordered or if there was a fixed entree amount that should be have been said as well and we did ask. Also the meal I was charged extras on was only $35 one of the lower priced meals either way.
Great food outstanding wagyu. Service was terrible took forever to get food and the bill
We used a groupon so it was a limited menu. However the choices were still pretty good. Food was delicious (and we are both foodies so that's an accomplishment) Our server Mike was amazing, friendly, funny, and gave us advice on other local hot spots to check out. Wasn't expecting the added gratuity:( so be prepared to add $$ overall for a special evening we will definitely come back !
