I enjoyed the service
We had a great time at the Wine Bar! It is a nice, little secret tucked in the back of the food court in the Marketplace in the Borgata. At first I was wary of the location in the food court, but we were so pleasantly surprised by the menu and the delicious food. The service was over the top and the meals, mostly Italian, were very good. It is a nice escape from the expensive, hard to book, places upstairs. It was an elegant dinner in an unusual atmosphere, but it all adds to the charm in the end. We will definitely go back! Our waiter was awesome and made the night perfect!
Food was excellent! Jesus, our server, was spot on with everything. Suggestions, descriptions, etc.
Will definitely go back when I'm in Atlantic city again
Appetizers, wine pairing, salad and entree all amazing. We shared all 3 dishes and a bottle of Carpazo Italian red. Can't wait to go back and see the new menu additions in April.
Food was quite average. Meatballs were served room temperature as though sitting around but not hot. Weird to have one meatball served over arugula since who would eat arugula with tomato sauce? Burrata cheese very fresh but ice cold. First white wine request on menu was unavailable (Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay), second white wine was warm. Manager said the wine was served at the correct temperature. Pretty unappealing to drink warm white wine at a wine bar. Service was good though.
Great service, great food, great time. Will defiantly be returning
The Wine Bar is always first on our list when we get to Borgata. Jesús is the best Server ever! Very attentive. The food is always consistent and delicious. And the wine. It’s all about the wine. Do yourself a favor and go here!!! Never crowded and not high priced like the restaurants on the main floor that usually require reservations.
Enjoyed the cheese platter very much. Quality food.
The food was delicious. Service wasn’t great but it was Valentine’s Day and they were busy.
Wish I knew it was in the food court! I’m not familiar with AC and I was hoping it would have been a more intimate & formal setting for a birthday celebration.
The food was tasty, servers were nice, Jesus took great care of us.
However for the price I would have preferred to be in an actual restaurant vs the food court.
Food was great. The staff was great. Slightly slow service due to reduced staff, but nothing to complain about as the food was worth the wait.
As my first time there, I was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere and location. The food was absolutely out of this world, cooked to perfection. The drink selection was limited sadly as they didn’t have 90% of their alcohol available. They could’ve been a little more attentive to us as our bill was very expensive. For the price I was paying, I would’ve expected a little more VIP service as they were giving others who came in. Food is definitely worth returning for, but customer service was sub par. If your not a regular or know the staff well, they tend to forget about you, which makes you feel unwelcome.
Small plate menu and as well as Entrees. Very good Italian food at reasonable prices
Food court area, so lots going on, but food was very good. Give it a try, we did and would return.
Everything was expensive and the food was mediocre. The menu had some specials on it. Such as a sampling plate, but they did not honor their own specials. Said the menu was outdated and those specials shouldn’t still be on the menu. We won’t go back.
This place is a jewel. However, the menu is very, very limited. the wine is good and the service is great. My wife and I have been asking for the lasagna for weeks now to no avail. We've had it once and it never to be seen again. For some reason the chef doesn't want to make it. So we've been told. Inasmuch as the menu is so limited, one cannot visit often.
Due to Covid, the Market was quiet. Loved every moment of it! The servers are very attentive like we were at a private party. We ordered a charcuterie board, some pasta dishes, of course, we had a couple of bottles of wine.
Everything was excellent, from service to food and drinks. Great, bright atmosphere. We will be back.
The chef was rude and made us feel unwelcome because we had a later reservation. However, the server was great and the food was delicious. The wine selection was superb. The location is unusual, as it’s located within the center of the food court.
Excellent as always. Really missed coming here because of the whole pandemic mess. Luca and his staff are awesome and the meatballs are the best around!
The Happy Hour is full of satisfying drinks and food items. The food at the Wine Bar is excellent in general. I would choose Wine Bar over some of the brand name restaurants at Borgata because of the food. The burrata is exceptional.
Food was amazing and the service by Jesus and the management team was stellar. We had a great time and can’t wait to return!
I order pasta amatriciana, but they give me a different plate. I had no time to wait for the right plate
What a delightful surprise. Who knew the Borgota had a basement wine bar with exceptional food artfully served.
Great food and great service! Our party of 4 went to grab a drink and a bite before a concert. We had a reservation for 6:15 and were promptly seated at a high top table. The vibe is very cool with linen napkins and beautiful flowers on every table. Our server gave us excellent recommendations. We picked a bunch of apps and the girls ordered the organic Pinot Grigio, guys ordered Sam Adams. They do a great twist on eggplant parm with the eggplant cut into ribbons. We also got the meatballs, roasted peppers and prosciutto and the charcuterie board with 5 choices (3 cheese and 2 meats.). All delicious. Prices were super reasonable for the Borgata. We will definitely go again.
Been there a few times. Excellent once again!!! Great food, great value!
We really enjoyed our dinner at The Wine Bar downstairs at the Borgata. We had a reservation and were a party of nine. Very nice staff. The menu had great options for everyone. We shared delicious flatbreads, two trios (hummus, tzatziki and artichoke dips), Mediterranean beans and the housemade mozzarella. The mozzarella was outstanding. For dinner many of us chose salads which were large and plentiful, plus some chose Eggplant Parmesean and other options. Nice cheese selection and nice wine selection. Ambiance is interesting since there is a food court next to the restaurant, but we didn't mind at all. Value was terrific. We will return.
Second time we've eaten at the Wine Bar, and it just gets better. ( we are bringing friends next weekend) Great food, and the staff and chef are friendly and know what they are doing!! Highly recommended.
We have been several times and usually look forward to it. However, this time around the service was poor and slow. The chef came over and gave us attention, so we did like that. However, the poor service somewhat ruined our experience.
Very good last night
It was just excellent on every level!
Highly recommend! The happy hour was an incredible deal. Food was exceptional. The service was great too. Location is in the middle of the food court aka "the marketplace" but that didn't bother us one bit. There is a curtain separating the two areas. Go here for a casual Italian experience meeting or surpassing many Italian restaurants in the NJ area!
Hidden gem at The Borgata.
A great Birthday dinner with family !!!
Overpriced and in a food court. The staff was inattentive and we had to send food back to the kitchen. Salads were terrible and included frozen chicken. Do not go here
If you don't want to go to the casino's fine dining restaurants and buffet or fast food doesn't work either then try this place. Limited menu, but relax with the tapas style selections or homemade pasta in laid back atmosphere. Afternoon happy hour added plus.
Group of 6 ladies went here for dinner before a night out. Food was great, wine selection was great and our server was very personable. Location is a bit strange as it’s in the middle of a mall type food court but we were genuinely surprised with the quality of everything.
Definitely where you want to eat at the Borgata, without spending too much, without feeling nasty afterward.
This is definitely kind of a hidden gem in the Borgata; it's downstairs in the "Marketplace" area, sort of tucked underneath a corner of the casino. Compared to the rest of the casual restaurants on the property, the price is great, and the food was terrific. Great service too!
