Blackened Grouper Wrap
Blackened Filet of Grouper Served in Flour Tortilla Wrap with Shredded Romaine, Santa Fe Salsa and Avocado Crme, Rosemary Fries
Cheesecake du Jour
It was such a pleasure dining at the Wine Cellar. It was our first outing since Valentine's Day. Other than having to move to a different room because of a two year old who kept screaming at the top of their lungs. Our waiter made the move simple. I feel like writing a blog on parents who take very young children to an upscale restaurant with no care for others who also want a quiet pleasurable experience. I know that baby sitters are expensive but if you can afford to eat the at Wine Cellar then you can afford a baby sitter. Our first attempt at dining out since February and it was lovely.
Michael was a great server. The food and ambience is always wonderful.
This place is ALWAYS top notch and the ambience, food & staff are very appreciative of their customers. Great place to impress and proves why they’ve been in business so long!!
Escargot, lobster, trio and of course the Keylime pie!!! Perfect
Great place to go with your favorite people. It's quiet enough that you can have a conversation but plenty of energy.
We had a wonderful time! The wine, the food, the atmosphere were all perfect! Always consistent fine dining!
Excellent in all respects, as always! Suggest people get out of their houses and apartments and condos and have a great meal!
this is one of our favorite restaurants. The food and service is always good.
Ambiance and noise levels were good. We got a complimentary glass of sparkling beverage in honor of our anniversary. This was very kind. The server was nice, but not knowledgeable about the difference between whiskey and bourbon. Our old fashioned had mutilated (seemingly muddled) cherries and oranges. The server also proclaimed that my husband ordered his “favorite dish on the menu”. When I asked about a recommendation between two items, I got the canned response, “every item on the menu is fantastic”. My husband’s almond encrusted fish was heavily BREADED and tasted previously frozen. My salmon was dry and burnt on the bottom. Very disappointed.
This was our first time there and we loved the place everything was great!
Great food and wine selection. Great place for a special night out.
This has been a long time favorite for both lunch and dinner. Everything is always top rate and it's decor is charming. This is one of the few places to go and have a quiet meal.
Honestly not a fan. Food was not great. Service was though. This is what we call one and done
The food was delicious. The ambience was great. The service was amazing.
Beautiful restaurant and delicious food! We were unfortunately seated next to a very loud family that really put a damper on our quiet dinner. And our server was new so she although she was very nice and attentive, she didn't have extensive knowledge about the menu.
We had a nice time
Very enjoyable. Food was excellent!
Our server was awesome. Always coming in but not interrupting. Poured wine as needed, checked waters and always took things of the take that were no longer needed.
Food was awesome. I had espresso scallops, wife had the filet. Both cooked perfectly and can't even begin to describe the flavor of the food.
I will admit the strawberry tiramisu was a little more like strawberry shortcake than tiramisu. It was awesome, but missing the coffee soaked ladyfingers.
Overall we will absolutely be back again!!
the fish special was just that special. great food and service
The scallop appetizer tasted good but it was sandy. I liked the grouper but my wife said it needed more sauce. The risotto was very good. We got a dessert but I could not tell you what it was. 18 % was added which was ok with me. I would have left 20% if they had not added the 18%. Overall I rate it Good but not worth the overall price of $175 including wine. I probably will not return since if I am paying $175 it should be great or outstanding. Note that this was before Valentine’s Day.
Mike was an incredible waiter. 11/10 would recommend to anyone.
As usual, a very nice night. I asked my wife where she would like to celebrate our anniversary, and she said “Wine Cellar!”. Never fails.
Our food was not very hot when it came out. The portions were very small for the price. There were plenty of open areas but were seated in the small upper area in the back kind of packed in with other patrons. The server was great. Way better food at Marker 32.
Very expensive but otherwise nice.
Absolutely wonderful night of celebration. The wine was excellent, even for a moderately priced bottle. The almond encrusted grouper was superb as was the fillet mignon and soft shell crab combo.
This is a fantastic restaurant and always exceeds our expectations. We definitely go there for the food and wine quality and presentation. However, the ambiance, setting and attention by staff are also superb.
Wine Cellar is a restaurant that you can ALWAYS depend on. The food is always fresh and delicious. the atmosphere is calm and quieter and the service is always excellent.
It had been a while since we last visited and it was exactly as we remember. Highly recommend.
Perfectly fine lunch with good food and service. Ambience was fine but not great. Very good value overall.
Always excellent. Service was a bit slow tonight and it was noisier than usual. This is my favorite fine dining restaurant and it never disappoints.
Great gourmet dinner before the concert. Excellent service as always! Top notch!
We were greeted promptly and ushered to a quiet table in the back of the restaurant. The waiter was friendly and helpful with recommendations. My guest had the escargot in a saffron sauce (which was probably not her favorite) and I had the bibb lettuce salad with the warm goat cheese (could have used more fruit and less lettuce.) We both ordered the sea bass and it was very tasty. The waiter brought us a lovely piece of cheesecake with cherries baked inside as a birthday surprise. It was a nice evening.
New Year’s Eve. Service was perfect. Meal was delicious.
Another wonderful evening at The Wine Cellar! We enjoyed dinner there on New Year's Eve prior to the Jacksonville Symphony gala and as usual, the restaurant did not disappoint. From food and service to ambience, The Wine Cellar can be counted on to rate superior on all counts.
The waitress was excellant. She was very attentive. Food was delicious. It was a birthday celebration so we were given a nice dessert.
Christmas dinner with family - service was very slow - waited 20 minutes with only butter on the table - not even water - we went to the front to ask if the server was okay - then we got bread -
Food was good but not as great as we’ve experienced before.
Bill was $300 for 5 of us. We don’t mind paying but only because the experience is special.
I hope it was only a bad night.
Service was impersonal and slow. Food was amazing. The restaurant needs a facelift but over-all it’s worth it all, the food was amazing!
Very nice ambiance, great place for a special occasion. The service was outstanding! While the food was good, it wasn't stellar. We will try it again.
Great service and fabulous food...as usual!
Wonderful dining experience! Great ambiance and delicious food and wine!
