Great menu, value for money, excellent food prepared beautifully

Very over priced food for the quality. Sea bass was barely edible. No seasoning on the risotto. Chicken was such a small portion and took a long time to come out. Server was nice. Overall very disappointed- will not dine again.

It was our first time dining at Wissota Chophouse. I ordered an expensive 6oz steak that I had to pay extra to add any kind of sauce or topping to. I added the wild mushroom medley to top my steak. The flavor of the steak was not good, it tasted plain with an ending of metal. It was cooked to my liking, but for the price I was extremely disappointed with the flavor. I had to also pay extra for any side, which was super disappointing that the steak didn’t even come with a salad with that extreme price. My husband had the burger and said it was good. Do not think we would come back, the price for the dissatisfaction.

Neither of us were expecting the amount of food that was brought out! The appetizer was amazing, the soup was amazing, both steaks cooked perfectly, zero complaints from either of us that night. Knowledgeable and friendly waitress as well! We’ll definitely return.

The food servings including the dessert were all excellent. The only negative was the small portion of A la carte sea bass. I recently had it in Stevens Point and I thought it was on the smaller side then and this was 1/3 smaller.

Excellent service however the steak had little flavor and the shrimp was slightly over cooked. For the prices expected much more than what we experienced

Steaks were fabulous, Heather was a great and the dessert was excellent. A bit expensive, but well worth it.

Appetizers and drinks were delicious. My steak was over cooked but the flavor was there. I had the aged ribeye. Risotto was very greasy and not creamy. I moved the rice to one side of the bowl and had about three tablespoons of oil ooze on to the other side. Also tried the sea bass. Had no flavor and the risotto had the same grease problem. Service was great and she felt bad about the steaks. It was 65 dollar steak that the kitchen aged for 85 days and then over cooked for me. Get some apps, beer, and steak and skip their sides. Just order the steak one temp lower than you normally do and it will be fine.

Food was great. Nice selection of local beer. Service and ambiance was good. Pricey.

Thank you... we had a wonderful time. Service was exceptional. Food was amazing... steak was done perfectly and could be cut with a butter knife. Scallops were tender and flavorful. Definitely will be back and highly recommend dining here.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted right away. He was very polite and seated us immediately. Our server was excellent, friendly. Food was delicious but I put 4 stars for value as I did feel it was a bit expensive. Yes we did look at the menu and prices before we went. It was our 19th Anniversary and we heard good things so we went.

The food was great! Only complaint was I thought drinks were a bit expensive. Would definitely come back to eat. Just not have drinks

Very under staffed. Sat for 50 minutes and no one would take our food order. Drinks sat empty for 30 minutes. We left and went somewhere else. Will not be back.

Service was great but I spent the next day in the bathroom from the food

My husband and I both enjoyed our dinners very much. The wedge salad and French onion soup were excellent and the filet mignon was top notch, the bernaise sauce was not as good as others I’ve had, texture and taste was not good. The Mac and cheese with bacon was really good and so was the carrot cake, which is a generous serving for two. Biggest complaint is the noise road, they have a lovely patio but we chose to dine inside due to traffic noise, but with all the doors open it was loud inside too. Pricey but very good food, a nice splurge for a special occasion.

Wissota is a great place to meet with friends and family. Menu has a little something for everyone.

Took dad there for Father’s Day with brothers. Place was nice. Friendly staff.
Didn’t have all their beers available on menu. Food was good. Very overpriced. The term you get what you pay for doesn’t apply here. Def not worth the price. Almost $500 for 4 people!

We were so impressed with Wissota, they even gave us a complimentary piece of anniversary cake. The staff was so accommodating and friendly, best of yet the food was amazing. We will definitely be back.

Outstanding like my 1st visit, every time I get something different next time I go I'm getting Lamb chops! Service was awesome, I wish there were more servers like heather out there!

Family get together.

I loved how it's an a la cart, a little pricey yes, but it's supposed to be, don't go if you don't wanna spend and expect a hundred things for a couple bucks.. it's about the experience, it was quite, I was so happy and full when I left.. my waitress heather was amazing, she was sweet, kind and funny as well.. if you want different go.. If you don't have a couple bucks to spend, go to the pub.. thanks to a wonderful night!

It was our first time out with the restrictions lifted. Was able to dine outside, and it was perfect. The scallop - avocado crostini was just amazing. The burger and steak were cooked to perfection.

Was looking forward to this experience, coming from a family of chefs and experience in the restaurant business, I was excited to try the food. The second we walked in it felt as though everyone was in a hurry to get us in and out. The waitress was spot on with timing and knowledge of menu but was not friendly at all. Like we were a nuisance being there or was expecting a terrible tip being a younger couple. The food was very good and overall we enjoyed our time.

Amazing food, great service and a wonderful server!

It was really wonderful meal for a Monday night. We had most of the place to ourselves which allowed the wait staff to give us a lot of attention when needed. The food was absolutely amazing, and we will be going back again soon

The appetizers & drinks were fantastic. The meat was great. Our asparagus was very think. My husband & I like thin, tender asparagus.

Great place for Valentine’s Day. Their specials didn’t disappointment. Excellent service as always.

We came for the first time for our anniversary. It was a solid chophouse. All of the meats were good. We had a ribeye and the mixed grill with a Caesar salad and garlic chive mashed potatoes. The steaks were excellent and the potatoes were a hit too. Took home some leftover steaks and half a bacon slab which will go great in an omelet tomorrow.

This is an outlier it is one of the finest restaurants in the area. Once I tell friends about it, they have never heard of it. You can be adventurous or conservative. The food is always excellent.

New Years romantic dinner with wife

We were very excited to try Wissota - I had heard good things! The meal was OK but you tend to expect more when the menu is priced the way it is. We had a total of 9 people and everyone had similar feedback. We were particularly disappointed in the sides - those that ordered soup mentioned it was lukewarm. The asparagus was "woody," the brussel sprouts were partly yellow and did not taste the way you'd expect for parmesan-crusted as they were listed in the menu. One thing we were impressed with were the bacon-wrapped scallops. I would maybe give it another chance just for drinks and appetizers but overall for the price, I was not impressed with the meal.

Filet was so tender, good service, pricey.

Top quality food if you are looking for top shelf beef, fresh fish, good wine and craft beer list. Everything is ala carte like Morton’s. Service by David was superb with a good cadence between courses. Solid surface walls and floors make it noisy. We went for our 44th wedding anniversary and David treated us to dessert. This is a very expensive restaurant, with very high end menu items, ingredients and excellent chef prep and service.

Great meal, great service, Amber did a great job.
Will be back. Note, roasted stuffed olives were awesome!

Food as usual was very good. Service was excellent. A little high on price, but so far consistently good food.
