Do not go here. Food is terrible. Its small and loud and the service is just average.

First time there and we were all so impressed with service and the food. We had a spectacular time and would return next time we are in Asheville. The Harvarti cheese sticks were out of this world!

Food is way over priced, and the prices on the menu when you get there are higher than what y’all are advertising.

My sister has one of these in the Columbus, Ohio area and recommended trying it while we were in the area.
Food was good and the service was very good. We don’t have any in Texas yet but if they come to Texas we will be back.

What a surprise!!! This place located in holiday inn was a great find. Honestly, I didn’t expect much but I was pleasantly surprised. The trout was local and delicious.

Have lived nearby Woodfire for several years but haven’t visited given it is a ‘hotel restaurant’. Overall the food, ambience and service was very good beyond expectation.

Prices are a bit higher, but mostly in line with other quality restaurants in Asheville.

Great food

We were out of town and in Asheville, everywhere needed a reservation. We looked up this place and even thought it’s inside the Holiday Inn, the food was phenomenal! It was a little pricy, but it was quiet and just what we needed!

It was ok, limited menu and not as nice in person as it looked online.

Great food and service - don’t let the fact that it’s in a holiday inn deter you - we almost didn’t go, but certainly glad we did!

We live in Asheville and had heard about this place just east of Asheville, but never tried it. It is inside a rustic, very nice, Holiday Inn (don't be turned off by that), and well known by locals, but not to the throngs of Asheville tourists. Food was very good, our server Pablo was outstanding, and price was half of downtown Asheville restaurants. Safety protocols were all followed as well.

Amazing place, coming from Florida and to find an upscale reasonably priced placed with excellent food was a blessing.

This place continues to impress! Food is always outstanding , service amazing, and always plenty of room between tables and people so you never feel crowded. The ambiance is pleasant, and different rooms so you can be secluded if you want.

We were visiting Asheville and I wanted to take my son and his girlfriend to a nice dinner and get a feel for the city at the same time. Unfortunately, in Asheville the restaurants book up so quickly that there were very few options left. I was a bit disappointed to find that this restaurant is actually in the Holiday Inn. However, the ambiance in this restaurant feels warm and inviting and the food was absolutely delicious. My son and his girlfriend had steaks. I had the locally caught trout. I can be quite fussy about fish, because I don't like anything "fishy" tasting, but the trout was cooked to perfection. The service was great. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Asheville.

Online menu did not match up with current menu. The atmosphere was just what I expected for a mid-grade hotel. I think it would have been a better experience had this place been a stand alone restaurant. Food was good. We were just disappointed with the menu

A tale of 2 meals. I ordered Trout & wild rice and was very pleased with the dish - trout was cooked just right and was very tasty. My wife ordered NY Strip medium rare and it came out medium well and was dry & tough. We heard another table was told they had Ribeye steak as a special but it was never offered to us (which most certainly would've been the preference over strip). She should've sent it back but didn't want to make a fuss. Nothing was offered to make up for the poor quality and being overcooked other than an apology. One other plus was the coconut cream pie, which was excellent. Note the restaurant is in a Holiday Inn hotel.

So many Asheville restaurants are closed, have limited seating, or only do takeout. Woodfire took reservations and even had a full menu - unlike many other restaurants. We all enjoyed our entrees and the waitress was very good.

Being a tourist in Asheville is a challenge when it comes to finding a place to enjoy dining out.

Food was well prepared, flavorful and served without delay. Friendly and attentive service.

After a long day of driving, we got to Asheville and decided to try the WoodFire Grill. Wife got shrimp and garlic pasta and it was good. I tried the local mountain trout and it was amazing! So delicious! Would definitely go again for the trout!

We went with a group of 6 to dinner. It’s located inside the Holiday Inn but don’t let that fool you. The food was fantastic and our server, Millie, was a gem! I had the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. It was super good. The chicken was very tender and juicy. Definitely a do-over type of place.

Our experience from start to finish was great. Our server Pablo was exceptional, and helped us with any concerns and questions we posed considering my husband has a gluten allergy. We enjoyed every course, which we had 3, and the woodfire flavor on our steak and salmon were only trumped by the perfection of the temps! Since it was a weekday night we were sat in the front window and had the entire room to ourselves. It was nice, romantic, and the lodge decor was beautiful and unique. The value was amazing compared to Asheville restaurants by far! We will definitely be back!

Long wait with no hostess to be seated. No silverware was ready when we sat down. The waitress was good. She did the best she could.

This is inside a Holiday Inn. For a restaurant inside a less expensive hotel it is better than most but really should have the location included in Opentable description so users are better informed.

We were visiting Asheville and wanted a nice restaurant to gather with friends. We scanned google quickly and chose this restaurant based on location. Upon arrival we realized it was located in the Holiday Inn...going to be honest, we were a *little* skeptical BUT we had the best time! The service, food and atmosphere were all EXCELLENT! Really, really good!

Had a very good experience. It was a Monday evening, so quiet anyway and especially so with Covid. Very good steak and service.

The food was eh. Nothing special about this place, the food, the ambiance, or the service. We went for our anniversary and was disappointed in the experience. I ordered the chicken with garlic potatoes and salad. My entrée was decent, nothing special. The salad was fresh and the highlight of the meal. My husband ordered the filet and it was dry. (Cooked medium). Our server was very nice but not attentive at all. I will not go here again.

We had wonderful service, and the sweet potato fries were delicious. But the ambiance is lacking a bit.

Great place! Don’t freak out when you pull up to the back lot of the Holiday Inn and question your decision like we did. Stay the course and the course will exceed your expectations! Go for it!
