The food was amazing I had the beef cheek and the lamb. My husband had the sea bass and feather blade everything tasted fabulous. There was a great selection of wine. The service was excellent. All the staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be coming back.

Visited wreckfish for the first time on Sunday and it did not disappoint, all of the food was delicious. we had a 3 course Sunday lunch trying the beef and pork and would definitely recommend. The starters and desserts were delicious and we enjoyed everything we ordered. Will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu! lovely :)

Lovely restaurant with a fantastic menu (and wine and booze list). Really enjoyed the innovation and choices they restaurant has made. Certainly worth stopping by if you're in Liverpool.

Fantastic food. Service was great although there were tiny things I would have appreciated - no lime or straw in second Coke ordered as there was in the rest, longer wait to order deserts than expected (I’m only this picky because I work in the food industry and notice these tiny details). Ambience was great, absolutely loved seeing one of the chefs out front - makes all the difference. Value for money was good but I would have appreciated just a few more truffle chips. All in all a great experience and I will be visiting all the other Elite Bistro restaurants as soon as I can! :) x

I've had lunch, early evening meal and now breakfast at Wreckfish and I have been impressed with it each time. The food is excellent. Good quality ingredients, good food and I cant fault the presentation. Service is friendly, lovely ambiance and nice setting. The restoration of the building has been nicely done. I dont live in Liverpool but am looking forward to eating there again when next I visit.

Beautiful food, middle to top price. Prompt and courteous service. Only gripe was being slightly misled to select still bottled water, even though profits support WaterAid.

If your table is anywhere within front door opening on a cold evening then ask to move as you will get cold draughts regularly across the table. My wife had to go and get her coat On after the starter to keep warm!
Food & service were good but it is a shame that the design of the front door & heater over the door are clearly inadequate on a cold / windy winter evening in Liverpool.

A very enjoyable meal - excellent food and service. Only issue was a rather rowdy table nearby - unprompted the waiter did apologise about this on the way out, so fair enough.

This was my second visit and although I really enjoyed the food. The service was very poor. We obviously where the last table booked that evening everyone had switched off and was waiting to get sent home even though still a few tables in the restaurant. We received our side order after we finished our meal as it had been forgotten and we had to ask for it. Our waiter had no interest he came sheepishly clearing our plates with our one word to us. I’m guessing this was as he forgot the side order. We then had to ask for dessert menus. I watched the chefs working hard and creating dishes and I felt sorry for them because the floor staff didn’t have the same love serving us.

We had been looking forward to visiting Wreckfish and went with friends over from Begium. We all thought the food was very good but did not like the fact that the kitchen staff were cleaning up whilst we were still eating. The service was, we thought, 'stiff' and things kept being dropped on the floor. As it is not a cheap place to eat we were disappointed by the lack of ambience and hospitatility that we would expect at a restaurant in that price category. This had an important impact on our enjoyment.

Really enjoyable Sunday lunch - my brother was over from Copenhagen with a friend where they have some excellent restaurants, and they were very impressed. It was one of our best meals at Wreckfish.

Having eaten here in the evening on a couple of occasions, I decided to try Sunday lunch. The roast beef was excellent with roast potatoes, carrot and swede puree, greens and an enormous and very light Yorkshire pudding. A party of Frenchmen on the next table had the belly of pork which looked very good too.
There is a reasonable selection of wines by the glass if, like me you're eating alone, but the general wine list looks quite interesting.
Service is efficient without being intrusive so you are not being asked if everything is OK every other mouthful.
This was my fourth visit and I shall certainly return whenever I'm in Liverpool.

The big spoiler for our visit was the state of the toilets that were stinking and dirty and when we mentioned it to the waiter he said they were aware and the toilets had been flooded on a couple of previous occasions which was there was a horrible smell so why was no-one there trying to make them better?? The food was good with lots of choices for meat, fish eaters and vegetarians alike with nice combinations of flavours. The waiting staff were efficient but not that welcoming and not particularly helpful - they seemed to their job but definitely didn't go the extra mile.

We had a lovely meal at Wreckfish. There were lots of tempting choices on the menu and the sea bass starter was superb, whilst the beef was exceptional. Great selection of wines to choose from too. The atmosphere was pleasant and I liked the open-plan kitchen. Service was excellent throughout.

The only slight drawback was the temperature; we were sat close to a service door that brought a cool draught through into the main dining space. This draught was exacerbated by the main entrance door periodically opening, creating a through-breeze!

We’d definitely recommend the place and I’m sure we’ll return.

Seated on ground floor which was very nice. Thought the use of bar spoiled the ambience of the restaurant just a little. Would it not be a better idea not to have the bar and have more tables?

My partner and I came to WreckFish to celebrate our anniversary and had a wonderful time.

The food is excellent, the service is great, and the small touch of a complimentary anniversary plate from the restaurant was a really nice touch.
