Warm and friendly welcome, lovely interior design. Great quality food which is reflected in the higher prices. After 19:15pm when the restaurant got busier the service became rather disappointing/pretty much non existent and we were left waiting 25 minutes for the bill after asking twice at the end of our meal also. I would probably give them a second chance to get it right so fingers crossed for better service next time

Very friendly staff and lovely decor. We visited Yumn for brunch and received a free energising shot full of goodness on arrival. The food portions were great value for money and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely recommend!

Another fabulous meal at Yumn. Service great as always and we really enjoyed the new additions to the menu especially the lamb rump and pumpkim cheesecake. Still our favourite Croydon restaurant!

We were well received, nice and quiet place for night out with friends or your partner. The guy in charge of a table did a amazing and look after us 100%.
But the rest was a disappointment
really small portions for what you’re charged for, the food took really long to came out, we orderer the same drink but didn’t taste the same, after point it out we got a new one which still taste different, in the end of the night we still were changed for the drinks we didn’t drink.

Amazing food and the chef is always so nice, comes to our table to chat. Even looked after us with some of our favourite bites. Our favourite place in the area hands down

Staff are really friendly and professional. Probably not the best for my 19 year old son as portion size wasn’t enough. Cocktails where not brilliant would have preferred r standard cocktails. Music fantastic..

Food was fantastic. A truffled chicken terrine with a Japanese-inspired side salad was out of this world. We have gnocchi, fish, and steak - everything was great. A banana ice-cream doesn't sound like much but was amazing and crunchy and nothing like I was expecting.

Service throughout was charming and attentive. It's been lovely every time I've eaten there. Clearly staff by people who loved what they were doing. It's a gorgeous dining room - the restaurant is close by and I resolved to go there more often.

It is a lovely dining room. The tables have been nicely spaced put during to covid. The staff were very friendly and the service was very good. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast that was very good value for money. Overall cannot wait to go back and try dinner.

Arrived slightly early and was still able to be seated, excellent. However we waited 30mins before our drinks came, then waited an additional hour for our food. Appearance and feel of the place is lovely, but they need to speed up their service. Our waiter was a French man who was absolutely amazing.

This was our first dinner out for months, and we couldn't have been happier – the staff were fantastic and it really felt like they went above and beyond. The food is delicious and we loved the new cocktail menu. Can't wait to go back – thank you for having us!

Another fantastic meal at Yumn. This time we were celebrating our anniversary and we were really well looked after as always. The food was delicious and we had some fabulous Champagne and Malbec. One of the staff members has an excellent knowledge and appreciation of wine which he is happy to share. We also tried some new dishes that were brought out by the head chef. Yumn seems to get it all right! We will certainly be back to sample the new menu and wines as Christmas approaches.

First time at Yumn, was really made to feel welcome and comfortable. Staff were very friendly, informative and attentive.All our 3 courses were well presented, tasty and good value for money. The decor and ambiance was spot on for either a romantic meal or a classy drink with family & friends. Would definitely eat or drink here again.

My husband and I had an amazing meal here last Saturday evening. It had the quality and vibe of a top London restaurant. The food was simply INCREDIBLE. Highlights included the scallops, the chicken liver paté with orange and cardamon marmalade, and the homemade gnocchi with wild mushrooms. The staff were super friendly and attentive. And the chef came out to deliver our desserts and say hell, which was a lovely gesture. We'll definitely be back. We loved it!

Took my boyfriend there for his birthday. Couldn’t fault it. Amazing food, cocktails, service and atmosphere. We had the lamb croquettes and scallops to start, followed by the lamb and beef fillet. Delicious. Tables nicely spaced out for privacy and safety, but still maintaining a really good vibe. Will definitely be returning.

There’s a new chef at Yumn, the food is amazing. Fine dining portions though so if you like big meals add some sides to your main meal. Other than the portion size the food is utterly delicious.

Our waiter was lovely and attentive.
We had prawns and scallops as staters the prawns were very nice , wasn’t a fan of the scallops (only two per serving) but the cauliflower purée was amazing. Both had the lamb main with a side salad including pickled shallots which were delicious 👌🏼 Lamb was very nice too.
Skipped dessert as it was late.
Only problem we had was a couple of people next to us were being very loud and talking about suicide and over inappropriate topics obviously this was out of the restaurants control but kind of took the romantic feeling away from the meal that kind of ruined it but would probably return again 👌🏼

Tasty food, different from what we had expected after eating at YUMN before. The portion sizes are a little small so sides are a must. Slightly pricey for what it is but over all very a nice meal. The desert I had was very rich and would definitely have again. The restaurant may be trying to make a name for itself and earn a Michelin star as it gave of that vibe. It made for a nice venue for my parter and I to have out fortunately date night and we will definitely go back. I would recommend booking to avoid disappointment as it was very busy. Service was great food came out prompt and piping hot. Over all very nice but not quite 5 star.

The food was fantastic. Hats of the the chef. Every meal was perfect, you could see the attention to detail and the love in every meal. The presentation was artistic without being pretentious as the food spoke for itself with their wonderful complimentary flavours.

We were really impressed. The scallops were cooked to perfection, I would go as far as the best I have ever had and I have had scallops around the world. The mix of flavours of every meal were well balanced and complimentary to each other. Everything looked freshly prepared it was amazing.

The decor in this place is lovely, it was modern and feels very luxurious like you are in a michelin star restaurant, the lighting was great, you could admire uour food and made it a wonderful atmosphere.

The only thing that bothered me was the music was too loud, I would have preferred it as more moderate background music, I wanted a nice dinner with my husband and was not looking for a party atmosphere. We sat behind the drinking area, albeit entertaining it was too close when having dinner.

We shall we coming back.

Considering they was not at full capacity the service was shocking, they seemed overwhelmed. We had to ask for someone to take our order. The drinks took a while to come out, late during the evening we ask for another drink which never came. The food (steak & chips) took a while to come out. They decided to give us some complimentary rice balls (nasty). However the waiter just dropped it on the table and we were confused & has to ask what it was! Chips were unseasoned, cocktails lacked alcohol & taste. Condiments lacked flavour, like how! Overall as a birthday meal disappointed!

Great experience at Yumn. Welcoming and attentive team, delivering some delicious food. A fantastic local spot catering to all needs and occasions.

Tried the brunch menu which had some great modern alternatives to the classic brunch offering and at a good price point. Will definitely head back to try their other menu offerings.

The food was great, lovely atmosphere and staff very attentive we even had a visit from the chef. Would recommend and will definitely return with friends again when we can just pleased we managed an evening out before the rule change
