    一皿が小さいので日本人にはちょうどいい量です。 味は初めて食べる味ですがどれも美味しかったです。 店員さんはあまりフレンドリーではありませんでした。 かなり混んでるので予約必須です。

    地中海料理、初めて食べましたが、どの料理も美味しくいただきました。特にフムスが気に入り、子供もピタパンにつけて、何枚もピタパンを食べていました。 あとはoctopus grilled も美味しかったです。またワシントンD.C.に行った時には訪れたいと思います。

    ２５ドルのランチコースをいただきました。天気が良い時期であればテラス席が気持ちがいいです。お食事は３品＋デザートで一つ一つのポーションはそれほど多くないもののおかわり自由のパンもあるのでお腹いっぱいになりました。また、お腹持ちの良い内容だったようで夜になってもあまりお腹が空かなかったです。 お料理の内容自体は期待しすぎたのか感動するほどのものではありませんでした。次回機会があればアラカルトのサンドイッチなどを頼んでみたいと思います。

    主人との旅行で利用しました。どの料理も美味しかったのですが、ビーツのサラダとラムチョップが特に気に入りました。一品一品少しずつ出てくるので、少人数で行っても色々なお皿を楽しむことができます。 またワシントンに来た際には利用したいと思います。 Amazing!!

    Experienced it but would not go back.  Because I am a firm believer in Jose Andres, work around the world, helping others I was OK with paying way more than the food was worth, but I would not return. The food was not great. The service was subpar, we had to ask for things multiple times, and the place was not that busy, and the portion sizes were very small for the prices that were charged. Some of our food was over cooked. It was pretty loud in there, and even though they were empty tables, we were sat right next to one other group. Overall, it wasn’t a great experience and we’ll explore other places next time we dine out.

    My family's favorite spot in DC. Food comes out quickly and is always insanely good. Service is amazing and the waiters have great personalities and are always so nice. 1000/10 highly recommend.

    While I am not drawn to Mediterranean food per se as is my wife and our dining companions, I must say that I was very pleasantly surprised with quality and variety of what we ate at Zaytinya last Sunday: Brussels sprouts, charred eggplant pide, shrimp (garides me anitho) octopus Santorini, lamb kebob, tabouli, etc. For dessert, the Turkish Coffee chocolate cake as recommended by our waiter from Honduras, who did an excellent job, was far and above the average molten chocolate cake you will find elsewhere. An exceptional meal in an attractive setting in downtown DC.

    Zaytinya was a delight! This was our first encounter with a José Andrés restaurant. Our experience was ideal, including the absolutely delicious mezzes—one of which our waiter kindly recommended—the enthusiastic vibe of the place, the restaurant’s convenient proximity to two metro stations, and overall service. We also thoroughly enjoyed the bottle of red from Cyprus and finished off our Mediterranean culinary adventure with the galatopita for dessert. Our experience only reinforced the preceding reputation of Zaytinya’s owner and the restaurant itself, and we’re already coordinating our calendars to line up a visit to nearby Jaleo. Zaytinya is a must for anyone who appreciates high-quality Mediterranean fare and a lively atmosphere.

    The food was excellent and efficiently delivered. We ordered the chef’s tasting menu for 4. We were surprised however that the people who delivered each course has no knowledge of what was in each dish. This was a little disappointing. But overall it was a great experience and we will go back

    This restaurant has great food and really creative cocktails but is off the charts noisy. We were at a two top upstairs and couldn’t hear each other half the time. If you have a large group forget hearing anyone 2 or 3 away from you. They need to insert acoustic panels to absorb the noise on the cavernous ceilings.

    Tried Zaytinya for the first time. We made our reservations two weeks in advance on Open Table. The wait staff were very attentive. Our waiter was very helpful with recommendations. The restaurant was quite loud and the seating very close. Food was delicious and the perfect amount. The dessert, their version of baklava, was outstanding! We will be coming back and have already recommended it to friends. Received an email from the restaurant afterwards giving us their other restaurant links for future reservations.

    I am 75. A man at the desk as I walked in asked me if I wanted a quiet table. I said OK. He led me to the only table in the restaurant with a full view of the kitchen. Not an open kitchen place. It was in a back area of the restaurant whihc was actually noisy. I asked for another table. Someone different led me to a table in the bar. I said I would like to be in the actual restaurant. I asked for a table next to the windows in a nice area. They tried to tall me that was the noisiest part of the restaurant. Keep in mind that the quiet table was their idea. They gave me the table i asked for. The restaurant was not crowded. I had a reservation. I have not been there for years and would not go back. Food was good, service at the table was good.

    The food was really good, it feels as if your somewhere in Greece eating dinner. The service is simply excellent, so is the restaurant's atmosphere. The place is vibrant and beautiful. We had the restaurant week menu, lots of savory dishes, we couldn't ask for more.

    The service was great. Our waiter and other staff were very attentive. The food was delicious. We went for restaurant week and there was a number of choices to select from. We got a very good sampling of the items on the menu.

    Very nice lunch on a beautiful patio. Service is excellent - there when you need them, but otherwise unobtrusive. Food was all excellent. We ordered six mezze and each one was interesting and presented beautifully. Vegetarian choices are consistently excellent. Crispy eggplant was excellent and zucchini fritters were delicious. One could easily eat all vegetarian and never be bored. We look forward to returning. Great location too - right across from the Portrait Gallery and with many other museums nearby for an after lunch stroll.

    My wife and I both ordered 3 course lunches available during Restaurant Week, which was a bargain. Everything was delicious-we shared. Eggplant with pine nuts, etc. was a standout. Olive salad with walnuts was intriguing and complex. Orzo with chicken was good. Albóndigas were very good. Watermelon salad delicious. Service was attentive, friendly, and professional. Nice, relaxed, happy atmosphere.

    The food was good, especially good value restaurant week lunch. My favourites were the watermelon and feta salad and the olive oil cake. The tables are too close to each other and the service was a bit slow, but overall I enjoyed it.

    We usually have great experience at Zaytinya however this time, despite having reservations (for my mom's bday) we waited 40 min to be seated, Upstairs - The waiter was extremely aloof and not attentive. All our food arrived cold, we had to remind him of waiting for food and they brought the dessert without candles, even though we'd noted in the reservation as well as mentioned to the hostess that it was my mom's bday.     I absolutely loved my experience at zaytinya we went for date night during restaurant week and had an absolute ball ! If you get the chance to go I highly recommend it. Food was amazing, service was amazing, we loved our server Kevin he was fantastic. Id give this place 12 stars if i could
