Zen Kitchen - Waldorf Astoria, Las Vegas
romaine lettuce | chives | hard-boiled egg | aged parmesan | rustic croutons
We were the only couple in the restaurant.’ The waiter brought us our side dish of potatoes with our salad course! Water had no ice so we asked for ice and he brought 1 new glass of water with ice instead of bringing 2!
I was somewhat disappointed with the quality of food. I used to go when it was Mandarin but it is not the same.
$50 steaks, that come with no sides, that tasted like something you’d get at a company Christmas party. I’ve had better steaks at chain restaurants. Octopus was previously frozen and had a too chewy texture and fishy smell. VERY disappointed in the food. Service was great though. Won’t be back, can’t recommend due to extremely low value for lackluster food.
Nice view, attentive staff, great meal (had the rotisserie chicken with whipped potatoes, husband had some of their freshly prepared sushi and really enjoyed it). Can head up to Sky Bar from there for a cocktail after!
Bad ambiance, service, and food. My wife and I both ordered seafood dishes and they tasted very 'Fishy'. The restaurant itself was boring - we will not revisit.
Server was wonderful and friendly. They had a sushi bar in the restaurant which was interesting. The sushi was great and so was the rest of the food.
Terrific restaurant inside the Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas.
Got the drinks order wrong. Not many vegetarian or vegan varieties!
The food and service was great!
I had the Caesar salad and salmon. The salmon was very moist and tasty. Also the creme brûlée was amazing!
Kinda hard to find and
Nice, quiet, delightful! And the most delicious breakfast potatoes I have ever eaten! And the waffle taco, yessss! And the chef sent out a Happy Anniversary creme brûlée! Delicious!
Poor service on a known busy night.
Wonderful time. U really stepped out of the comfort zone, and am better for it.
Sat at the Sushi Bar with wonderful personal attention by sushi chefs! The seafood was very fresh and presented beautifully! No hesitation to recommend this restaurant as an incredible dining experience!
The staff kindly noticed my Wife’s recent birthday and provided a wonderful amenity. The attention to detail—our note to request a seating near a window—could not have been better. And the food is excellent; we tried an odd combination of sushi with pop rocks.
Server at buffet was quite rude.
No bread for starters, had the caprese salad, so so...I had the rotisserie chicken not a whole lot, if you're really hungry, this is not the place to go, maybe a light dinner, desert was good , red velvet cake, unsweetened tea is the nastiest thing in the world, NOT IN A HURRY TO RETURN
Everything was great - a little pricey but the food was great.
This was one of the more disappointing dining experiences I've had in recent memory. While the staff was very kind, I don't believe they've been set up for success. There need to be additional trainings and support for Frontline staff on both the menu and bar offerings and on service norms. The kitchen and bar need to focus on quality control. We had frozen carpaccio and cocktails that were a bit strange... lots to improve on here and a far cry from the excellent food and service that filled this space when it was the Mandarin Oriental.
The service and staff were accommodating. It was challenging to find the place located on the 3rd floor at the Waldorf Astoria. The carved steak sandwich came with lots of fat and we sent it back. Management was accommodating and comped the sandwich off our bill. The ambiance is nice and quite. The fresh juice was delicious.
We had the rib eye. Cooked perfectly and it was delicious. Our server Akiko was awesome. The manager, Jessica even came to our table and chanted with us.
