Zero Otto Uno
The food was delicious. We had a great dinner, but the music was very loud and it was difficult to hear each other at the table. We asked out waiter to turn the music down a bit, but it did not change.
Very good restaurant
Amazing food and atmosphere!
We had a reservations for 8:30 and when we got there, we saw multiple people waiting outside. I spoke to the one employee at the door and said that I was here for my reservation for 3 people. He told me it would be a few minutes. At 8:45, no one had spoken to us. The other dinners waiting said that the same thing. At 8:50 a waiter came out and asked which parties were there first. We asked again how long it will be and he said 10 minutes. We asked what the purpose of a reservation is if we still have to wait. The waiter was slightly confrontational and said that we need to understand this is how things work during COVID and that they can't manage the tables they can reserve because the system (I'm assuming OpenTable) does not allow them to set the capacity and so its really not his problem. He then lectured us on COVID dining. Overall, the rest of the staff was also rude and the food was not that good (and took over an hour).
Amazing food, great vibes! I’ve come here plenty of times, and will continue to do so. Great staff!
So delicious! Special salad with Burratta perfect! Pizza is so fresh and light! Service impeccable!
Overall amazing experience and will be back!!
One of the best restaurants in Hoboken! Small, quaint, family feel vibe every time you eat here. Have not had one bad thing on the menu, food is amazing. And the staff from hostess, to waiters, to chefs, all contribute to the amazing atmosphere that I love about this place! If you call up making a request, they always do their best to accommodate you. Great, great Italian food
This place is always delicious. Amazing Italian food in the heart of Hoboken. If you have not been, I highly recommend.
Ended up leaving due to horrible customer service
Slow service. Pizza and appetizers were good. Pasta came cold and too fishy
The food is always fantastic but it's service is just as good. Friendly staff and the vibe can be date night to family dinner (with well behaved children of course). They're super accommodating with kids.... pretty much will make anything as long as they have the ingredients. We go there a few times each month as a family.
Food and service was excellent! I would definitely recommend the pork parmigiana! Not something we would ever normally order, my husband got it and it was simply delicious!
Food was good but nothing great. It came down to poor execution of the dishes. We had the truffle pasta, which wasn’t hot enough and the noodles were clumped together. The pizza was soggy and two of the six slices had no cheese on them. Hoboken has a lot of good Italian places, this one was sadly lacking. Also the tables were not social distanced, only about 3 feet in between. It’s possible that it was an off night - the flavors were there but the execution wasn’t.
Great food! We went over Valentines Day weekend so it was very crowded and we did feel rushed by waiters. The food was amazing and BYOB is a plus
Waiter was rude and it felt like he hates his job
Food was fantastic, enjoyed the music and the atmosphere was lovely
Good food! Great service
Food and service was excellent. Great neighborhood gem!
My star rating indicates how I felt!
The only negative was the coldness of our initial contact with a staff member
Tables very close together. Informed when we sat down we only have 45min-1hr. Felt very rushed but at the same time sitting way to close to other tables with no separations.
They were a bit too quick with the food. They have a 90 minute timeframe so the main course came before we were done with our appetizers. It felt a bit rushed. The food was amazing. We will be back.
Loved my experience here! It’s BYOB and cash only which I read in a review prior thankfully so just a heads up there. We got the truffle pasta special and it was incredible! The wait staff was amazing too. Very enjoyable meal.
Awesome experience all around.
Great little authentic Italian spot in Hoboken! The food is amazing and honestly they have the best pizza's in their custom oven, highly recommend. Our server was awesome and really friendly. Oh and it's BYOB, so don't forget to bring the wine... however, my only knock is cash only - so hit the ATM first.
they’re extremely quick with service so dinner flew by. not exactly what we were looking for on a saturday night.
Great meal. Staff were friendly and helpful with meal selection. Will be going back soon
We had our New Years Eve Dinner here.
They wouldn’t seat us because we were 5 minutes late to our reservation although the entire restaurant was filled with empty tables. The owner was terribly rude to my party and refused to let us sit. Do not recommend
Showed up at 7pm for our reservation of 6 on Christmas Eve, there were no tables available. Waited 20 mins for the manager to move a couple to make room for our party. Server who was also the manager appeared bothered from the start, being disrespectful to thin women in the group, murmuring “you won’t be eating much, how about a small plate”. Manager said appetizers and salads could be shared but pizzas not shared. Manager was also bothered by the fact we we ordered salads and pizzas, not $40 specialty plates. I wouldn’t suggest taking the chance on this place for ruining your night - there’s far too many customer-oriented establishments in Hoboken that are better options.
The best restaurant in all of Hoboken!
Tony was our waiter, really good guy and very knowledgeable of the menu. I told him he can choose my dish because it was my first time and I’m not a picky eater and he nailed it. Pasta, pizza, appetizers, dessert were all perfect. He even helped us with a Gluten Free choice for my GF, nailed that as well. And it is BYOB. Definitely will be back soon.
Made a reservation for 7:45. Was running a little late so I called about 10 minutes before the reservation to inform them I’d be 10 minutes late. Man who answered the phone said it would be no problem. When I arrived I went to check in with the hostess and I told him I was the one who called. He told me that never happened and to give him 5 minutes. After waiting for a few minutes he came back and said we’d have to come back in 10-15 minutes because they were all full as I watched him sit others before me. Finally we’re sat at the most unstable lopsided table known to man so I asked for a different table. The hostess then gives the Busser a hard time and angry look for bringing me a better table even tho no one was sitting at it. All in all food was okay. The burrata was good. Margherita pizza wasn’t bad. My date had the bolognese which was mediocre and I had the squid ink linguini which was also nothing to write home about. The server Tony was the only highlight of the night. He was a very charming and funny gentleman that just barely made up for the rest of the night.
Service was great - felt like member of family. Food was really good and hot even though outside. Dessert left something to be desired. It felt like an after thought - too bad after lovely meal.
This was my second time here and it was better than the first. We ordered all the specials (skirt steak, sea bass, shrimp and walnut pasta) and everyone loved what they had. Also started with the mozzarella and prosciutto appetizer, a must have in my opinion.
Delightful meal and a fabulous server. The outside seating was comfortable.
A solid 3.5 stars for me. Even with a packed house, the restaurant was very accommodating when I requested to move the reservation 30 minutes forward about 3 hours prior to arrival. The service during our meal was also good. The fiamma pizza was very good - maybe could've used a few more pieces of soppressata, but the perfect amount of cheese. The rigatoni bolognese caught very good reviews from the table, while the gnoochi special was average. We did not have dessert. This place is BYOB and I would return.
Food was delicious. They were very accommodating and made us feel welcome. They were offering suggestions and willing to put together anything we asked for even off menu.
The food is delicious and comes out quickly. The staff is awesome!
I have eaten at this restaurant in the past and usually enjoyed the food, but the most recent visit was extremely disappointing (food was overly salty and overcooked). On all of my prior visits, the service was a little rude, but this time the rudeness reached a whole new level, both from the host and the wait staff. Maybe the staff is stressed out after the COVID situation, and I do sympathize, but it is still a customer service industry. There is a lot of competition in Hoboken that seems much more appreciative of my business. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
