Brilliant food, amazing service, great time had by all!
Our pre arena visit was good, the staff were efficient and the food hot and tasty, the winter warmer menu is worth considering as is the garlic prawn starter followed by prawn linguine and honeycombe cheesecake.
Definitely go again.

We found the last minute for New Year’s Eve and I’m glad we did as the food was amazing. Despite it being New Year’s Eve and it was busy the waiter we had (can’t remember his name) was very friendly and helpful with recommendations. The fondou starter was particularly good as was the rest of the meal. Great drinks choices and overall we had a great night. I have already recommended the king street location to friends.
Service was very slow, temperature of restaurant was unacceptable and I’m afraid apart from how long it took to get served and eventually receive our food the food quality was very disappointing.
We will probably never come back

Arrived at the restaurant and they didn’t have my booking. They were full and we had to go elsewhere . Very disappointing.
The restaurant didn’t have our booking upon arrival, but it wasn’t particularly busy so they were still able to give us a table. The service was very slow given it wasn’t busy, our second round of drinks sat at the end of the bar for over 10mins while the staff milled around not noticing. The food was good but the service let it down

I was very pleasantly surprised - have never eaten at a Zizzi's before and had chosen it at random. The service was great, food was really tasty and my friend and I were able to have a good catch up without the background noise drowning us out. Would definitely recommend it to others and would happily eat there again.
Terrible service, I booked this restaurant for my sister's birthday. Family had travelled from both London and Nottingham to celebrate here in Manchester. We chose Zizzi's as we had previously experienced great service and food here. However I was very disapppointed when I arrived, to what was quite a empty restaurant, to be 'welcomed' by a gentleman who had no customer service and told me my table was not booked on their system and they could not accommodate us due to lack of staff working that evening. After much discussion we left, however I returned moments later as I found my confirmation email from opentable, when I showed this to them all he could say was ' o we have had a problem with opentable'.... but again insisted they couldn't accommodate due to lack of staff. Bitterly disappointed with ZIzzi's and I will not be going there again.
Arrived at restaurant they didn't have a booking for us even though I received confirmation email. Prepared a table for us waited 1 hr 45 mins for our starters which were OK. Chef came out to say that the last of the chicken had been dropped on the floor and did we want to choose something else. We had a taxi booked and decided to leave. Will not recommend and will not be going again. Thus was my daughters 21st birthday meal ruined.
we had a shocking experience at this restaurant will definitly not be going back and we will not be recommending the restaurant to friends and family
