Reservation was made based upon Open Table’s reputation. This restaurant required a reservation to be held with a credit card and a warning that “no shows” would be charged $25 per person. This place should never have been on the list. When we arrived, the waitress was not prepared to offer outdoor seating until she went outside to the rear of the store and cleaned up the area…presumably with a blower and a broom. Before we were ushered to the “back yard” they required a credit card to be placed on file. When we got to our table, we realized that we were the only ones out there…four senior citizens on VALENTINES DAY. The waitress returned with menus and a stack of plates and cutlery and advised us that we needed to make are selections, food and beverage, at the bar, in the restaurant and they would bring the food out to us. Anything else that we needed would require a trip to the bar. Throughout the entire dinner, loud music was being piped into the area through two small speakers. In addition to the noise from the speakers, there was a construction crew working nearby, with chain saws operating almost constantly throughout the meal. The food arrived in reasonable time but the food (ribs, pulled pork, brisket) arrived cold. The brisket was fatty, the ribs were overcooked and dried out and the salad was not chilled very well. Our gin and tonic was unremarkable. We decided to order desert so that meant another trip to the bar to wait in line with bar patrons and the waitress to place our order. The desert selection was very limited and not remarkable. After a long period of time, I visited the bar to retrieve our check. The bill was $145.00 for dinner with the recommended gratuity percentage included which I thought, given the lack of service, was placed there as some kind of a joke. For comparison’s sake, the following night, we had dinner at Mango’s on Marco Island…outdoor dining, drinks and desert…same price.

Food has gone downhill. Menu is limited and my salad was tasteless. Entertainment was great, but food was not good.

We tried Z's kitchen this weekend. I booked online and requested outdoor seating. When we got there, we were told that to sit outdoors, there is $10 cover charge/person. It would have been good to know that before we booked-it should be listed on their page. We would not have gone had we known that in advance, only because hearing the live music was less important to us than outdoor seating. The food was lackluster. We got the BBQ special and it was pretty tasteless. The Z's salad was drenched in dressing, which I had requested on the side. Our server was a nice young man. And the Z shrimp appetizer was fairty tasty. They were the only saving graces in this experience. We won't be returning.

We missed the live music with our 6pm reservation but they had great music playing over the speaker. Sat outside and loved the lights. Our waitress was very attentive. I believe maybe the owner/manager came and checked on us. He explained some upcoming changes. Will definitely be back to hear the live music.

Great place we traveled to check this out and the band. Everything was delicious and loved the back patio! Noise level with the band inside was a bit hard to talk but we'll be back!
