RA Sushi is rolling up an exciting dining experience for all. Located down the street from the Galleria Mall, off Westheimer Road, RA Sushi Highland Village serves up a fresh, creative, Japanese menu. Join us for a casual lunch in the afternoons, a night out in the evenings or a RA'ckin Happy Hour offered twice a day Monday through Saturday and in the evening on Sundays.

Guests can take a table in our dining room, sit with our sushi chefs at the sushi bar or sip and socialize in our bar & lounge area.

Whatever you choose, it’s all served with a big side of anything can happen. So bring your friends or make new ones; you’re in for a great time in the RA.

Table wasn’t ready for 30 minutes past reservation time, then we had to squish into a table meant for 4 people not 5. Waitress forgot one of our drinks and spilled another one but didn’t do anything about it. The food was decent, not incredible. I wouldn’t recommend this place to someone I like.

Arrived for a 7pm reservation & was sat right away; host was great. We were greeted shortly thereafter by our waitress who seemed nice enough. She took drink & appetizer orders. Drinks came from another server. Apps seemed to take a bit to come out, this was confirmed when some seemed like they were beginning to cool off & I feel like the lobster spring roll was previously frozen. Still haven’t seen the waitress. Finished drinks & apps…. Still haven’t seen the waitress. Like not even on the floor haven’t seen her. Another table complained, then she appeared and took our food order… 7:30/45 ish at this time. Rolls came out pretty quickly but she disappeared again. Paid our check with the floor manager. Left about 9; 2 ppl with lite apps & sushi rolls. Disappointing and WAY too long for a weeknight.

Ahh I had a reservation, we were seated quickly. Waitress was amazing, food came fast & fresh. Music was loud but a good loud. Will definitely make this apart of my busy every time I come to houston.

Food was great, there were tons of waitstaff but the females were all in the bathroom putting on makeup and getting ready for their shift, and it was hard to catch any guy’s attention to order and then get tea refills and finally the check. The waitstaff management was very poor.

It was a little too open and not much ambiance to set it apart. Our sever Thomas was awesome. We appreciated his good service. The sushi rolls were a mess. Lots of fruits like mango and pineapple. Lots of fish “mixes” which is code for sort of a macerated blend of fish. I wouldn’t have noticed except my wife prefers to order sushi rolls and she had trouble finding one she liked. We ordered a crazy monkey, which was good. And a smoked salmon one which was not sushi at all since it had the mix which was fully cooked and a piece of salmon on top which was also fully cooked. If you don’t like raw fish or seafood, this is a good one to try. My wife thought it was ok and I had to overdone my first bite and come to terms with what I was eating. The nigiri I ordered was good, but unspectacular. The drinks were very good we had a flirty geisha and and ube daiquiri both were very good. Ra sushi is like the Chilis of sushi with less ambiance. It was a mixed experience to say the least. Kudos for their seasonal drinks and service. Actual sushi was ok to good. Prices were also generally reasonable. You could get better sushi at a better price point. But for the location and all things considered this was only ok. We don’t plan to come back, but people should try it and make their own decisions. It might be better for a happy hour for us which they have all week. Weekends are sort of reverse happy hours. Sundays has a longer period in the afternoon to dinner time. We might try it again for that.

This is probably one of my new favorite restaurants. The sushi itself is phenomenal, really good flavor and feels fresh when eating. The restaurant itself is nice, and the staff was extremely helpful with anything and everything. I will be visiting this place a bit more often now.

Restaurant was scorching hot - no A/C Food was fine. It’s consistent with what I expect from this brand. Service - great and then forgotten about for forty five minutes after we had finished our meals. I missed another event to hop to because nobody came back to our table for a while.

Come on a Monday evening for a birthday date. Ambiance and Scenery was great per usual. The food was tasty, but the drinks were made a bit too strong and our waiter could have been more attentive. At the end, overall a nice dinner.

The only issue I had with the menu items were that there was no actual real crab. Just only imitation crab. Aside from that everything else was amazing!

Service was amazing! Leah did a fantastic job recommending items for us to try! Food was absolutely exceptional. Everything was delicious. We had Viva Las Vegas roll, Mango lobster roll, chili Ponzu yellowtail roll, and the filet mignon with colossal shrimp. For dessert we tried the Mochi and we loved it! Mango Lemonade mock tail was great if you’re looking for a nonalcoholic option. Music was a bit loud but once we got seated we didn’t notice it as much. Highly recommend trying this place if you haven’t. Ask for Leah!!
