Lovely dining room where tables are not too close together, service is attentive and well paced, and food was delicious! We will definitely return!
I do not live in the area but have dined here several times. The food has been fantastic every time, and sometimes they offer a very nice discounted wine list. Can't wait to go back!
A special thank you to Jacob Who is a fantastic server.
The food is wonderful and the value for the amount of food you receive is incredible. We have had many great dinners here and will continue to do so. Luckily the restaurant is only 10 minutes from our home which makes it An excellent choice
Great evening out! The “tapas” style portions far exceeded our expectations. Especially enjoyed the scallops!
We ran late for our reservation but they were kind and sat us right away. We had a party of 6 and the server was happy to get our drinks even though we didn't have our entire party. The highlights for our meal were the crispy duck salad, scallops, petite filet, and the carrot cake. I would go again for a special occasion. Delicious!!
$65 per person Valentine Special set menu is a bit expensive.
We were here for Valentine’s Day and had a wonderful dinner and evening. Having the talented guitar player added unexpected ambiance...it did not disturb our conversation at all. Excellent service!!
An excellent assessment of small plates with seafood, beef, chicken and vegetarian options. A cozy atmosphere. Stellar service.
Great food and great service. Went a day after restaurant week ended and luckily the pre fixe menu was extended to my husband and I. We agreed that the food was delicious. Loved the pear/blue cheese/walnut salad, mahi mahi and carrot cake dessert. Husband really loved the ribeye. Server was attentive and helpful. Chairs were comfortable as well. :)
We tried a number of restaurants for Howard County Restaurant Week 2020 and hands down this was the best. The food was delicious and our server did an amazing job pairing each course with the right wine. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back.
friday night, bar was very active and a bit loud.
service was spot on and food delightful
Wonderful restaurant week options.
We did restaurant week and all the options we chose were delicious! Also the red sangria, very tasty :)
First visit a couple of years ago was underwhelming. Thought we would try again.
They have gotten WORSE. Sat for our 8:00 reservation. Took 10 minutes to be greeted by waiter. 10 minutes to get drinks. 10 minutes to order food. 25 minutes for food to arrive. They missed one dish. We called the manager over, he was useless. Food was mediocre, slow in coming, over priced. Will never go again. One of the poorest experiences.
We had a wonderful time at Ranazul. Our food was delicious and our waiter was excellent. I just love the sauces you have created for each dish. They are all very tasty. We will come back again definitely.
Beautiful space, incredible service. Jacob was delightful. The food was amazing.
Ranazul is always good. The menu pretty much stays the same except for soup of the day.
The food was hit or miss. The scallops- good, the ceviche — way too spicy and oniony, the duck salad - great, the rack of lamp undercooked and overpriced. Good win selections the service is fairly good. The space is not particularly cozy. The seats sink in and are not comfortable. Overall, it was good to ok, but definitely overpriced.
One of my favorite restaurants, the food is always the same ( really good) and serví I’d incredible
Friendly service with good food. It is popular with many repeat customers. Portions are the right size.
Wonderful food and atmosphere. Highly recommend.
My husband and I decided to dine at Ranazul before the New Year’s Eve worship service. The portion sizes were rather small and lacked substance. On New Years day we both had the misfortune of gastrointestinal issues which lasted several days.
Recently had lunch with friends. Ranazul used to be one of my favorites but no more. They no longer offer tapas ( at least for lunch) which is disappointing. The sandwiches and other lunch entrees are good but not spectacular. The worst was the service which was extremely slow despite the sparse crowd. Not planning on a return trip which is too bad.
Christmas Eve with adult kids before church
Such an inviting atmosphere, the food was wonderful. My date and I enjoyed our visit very much. I would definitely return again.
nice friday special pasts. nice tableware. jackson was our service - excellent
Haven’t been at Ranazul for a while and it didn’t disappoint! Ordered the pear salad, which was delish and large enough for 2 to share. Tuna and tilapia dishes were perfect. Would definitely come again!
Loved the 4 course set menu. Excellent!
The food and service were excellent. Keith was great at explaining the menu and timing the courses. We started with the cheese plate, which had a nice selection of cheeses and fruit. Followed that we a delicious pear salad. I had the tuna steak tar tarte and my wife had the shrimp and pasta. Both were excellent. Dessert was the fruit cobbler with ice cream. Also very tasty. The negatives are fairly minor. No draft beer. The fixed price menu was not a bargain (we didn't go for it). Also the menu wasn't clear about which selections were tapas and which were entrees. For example, the shrimp and pasta was enough for two entrees. This is worth mentioning because the restaurant considers itself a tapas restaurant.
Enjoyable neighborhood spot with friendly staff and great food.
We arrived early for our 7:30 reservation and enjoyed a drink at the end of happy hour. We checked in for our table and waited while they set our table. By the third time we checked in (and nearly a half hour later in a restaurant not completely filled), we were seated. It took 3 trials/tastes before we found a wine that we liked but they were good about allowing us to return an unpalatable selection. Our food was fine - nothing noteworthy and nothing terrible. We were only given bread and butter plates to use as we shared our tapas. The focaccia was more like white bread sliced into rectangles, the Cesar salad was difficult to eat with very large and overdressed pieces of romaine dotted with insufficient anchovies and the spinach should have been cut smaller and served more savory than sweet. All in all, we enjoyed our waiter’s service but certainly could have hoped for a better overall dining experience.
Enjoyed a great meal of tapas. It was a lovely and relaxing environment.
Great, as usual
Good service, good cocktails, good food selections and portion size options... but happy hour is only at the bar. Inconvenient policy.
Ranazul sustains an exceptional level of quality in their appetizers, entrees, wine selections and desserts! We had a fabulous dining experience. Thank you.
Excellent customer service all around.
Great small plates..best desserts...
They changed the menu and removed some of their staple dishes that have been there since opening like the arepas with shrimp. The food overall was OK. Crab rice still delicious. The white sangria tasted like water with a bit of apple juice and no alcohol at all.
