Ravello by Toscano
Very nice birthday dinner. They don’t serve the garlic bread we used to love anymore, but the oven roasted wings and our entrees were delicious. I had chicken and shrimp in San marzano tomato sauce over spinach instead of pasta. My son had short rib ragu over homemade fettuccine ...he didn’t leave a single bite. And my husband had chicken thighs with balsamic glaze, which he ate until I thought he might explode!
Great food...bring your own, nice elegance and very friendly, prompt service.
My wife and I enjoyed a very nice dinner. The food is fantastic and the service is great. Definitely worth a visit...and more visits after that. While your overall dinner will be pricey, it’s all worth it in the end.
Food was awesome....stuffed zucchini blossoms were amazing....service great as always, but didn’t have one waitress or waiter...do not know if they were short staffed but it did not affect service
The food was fabulous and the service was top notch will definitely book again
I had the chicken and shrimp Ravello it a bit to salty and I like salt. Everything else was great.
Except for one meal being served 15 min late
It’s was great as usual
Top notch food and service. Delicious every time!
Good food. Good service. Good value. Reserve ahead.
Always good one of my favorite
The waiter was not kidding when he said their steaks are not to be missed. The fish was fresh and appetizers were excellent. We will definitely be returning.
This is our absolutely go too place!! Prior to this location opening a few years back, we frequently dined at Toscano’s in Bordentown. Both places are amazing, however Ravello’s is closer to our home and is BYOB. The food has never disappointed and we have turned on so many of our friends. Staff is highly attentive and polite.
This strip mall Italian is a cut above most. Many inventive, well prepared and presented Italian inspired specials make for a memorable meal. My wife’s filet of sole with lobster and mussels over escarole and beans melded the flavors without masking the distinct parts. A bit pricey at $36 it was very, very good nonetheless. I went traditional with pasta carbonara with a twist. Bucatini with it’s substantial al dente bite was substituted for spaghetti. Yes it’s on many suburban Italian restaurant menus but it is a classic and rarely is it as good as this. Bravo! The only thing Ravello is missing is better glassware. It’s a pet peeve of mine but it’s the price you pay at a byob. I get it.
Ravello continues to be our go to restaurant. Food is great as well as service.
This was our first time here. The bread they serve has olive oil and cheese baked into it-yummy. We ordered the short rib egg rolls which was delicious! Our entrees were very tasty. Dessert was amazingly light-we ordered the pistachio cake! Would definitely go back!
Ravello by Toscano has delicious food and great service. Our server, Bianca, was excellent. BYOB. I also like that the tables are not too crowded together.
We were a party of five and given a nice round corner table. We all ordered our own starters and salads and the portion sizes are ample so next time I would share.
My only criticism is that my salad was overdressed for my taste.
We love Ravello! We've only been there twice, but each time...delicious! It's a pleasure to go there and we will go back. The food is SO good! Kudos to the chef/s! The brownie for dessert is out of this world! I'm sure we'll be back soon.
Always a great meal.
There were four of us for dinner on a Friday evening. We arrived at 5:45 PM to have dinner before a show at Kelsey Theater. We asked for a table in the corner to try to get away from the crowd that we knew would arrive soon so that we could avoid the crowd noise, which worked out o.k. Everyone liked what they had for dinner. Two chicken parmesans, one lasagna and I had the Chicken Toscano, which had chicken on the bone with some potatoes, vegetables and sausage. Everyone liked their dishes, and we thought the service by Bianca was very good. Except for when one very loud noisy woman came by to speak to the people at the table next to us, we were all able to hear each other, which worked out fine. Overall, I think that considering the quality of the food, the prices were very reasonable, and the portion sizes were very ample. My wife and I each brought half of our dinner entrees home. Each couple shared a dessert which worked out fine. Overall it was a very nice place to go for dinner, and we would recommend it to others and certainly go back.

Food is always outrageous! Has moved to the number one slot of our favorite restaurants.
Late dinner - last in place. Kitchen staff were loud and obnoxious.
Food was amazing and portions were right on point. Service was friendly, albeit a bit slow, but it was busy and we weren’t in a rush so no biggie. Will go back again.
The tuna special was not what I expected there was more taro? Than tuna and the taro tasted like corned beef hash and had the consistancy of hash also. The price was high for what I received.
The service was wonderful, food was very good and a good value. This was a great place to meet family on our way back home to PA. Would go there again if in the area.
2nd time eating at the restaurant, but first time for my fiancée whose birthday it was and enjoyed it very much. I love the fact that I wrote a note through the app to have a surprise cake from the restaurant and didn’t mention any candles, but our waitress took it upon herself to include candles and picked a delicious brownie as our desert. Love Ravello by Toscano !
Booked a reservation for a business meal. Always a good meal here. Menu and list of specials were vast and met everyone’s needs. Highlights include the Sweet and Sour Calamari, Veal Parmagiano, and Tuna special.
I love this little gem but have to say the food quality was just “meh” this time. We both got specials (steak and seafood over pasta) and we underwhelmed for the first time in many dinners here. The food has always looked and tasted terrific. The plating for my husband’s steak dish was really unappealing and my seafood was mostly pasta( 3 shrimp and about 4 pieces of mussel with some baby clams with some shells empty of clam but still served to me?!? The person seating us and our server did not crack a smile once. We chose Ravello for a celebration dinner for us of my husband’s 60th birthday so the terse and basically unwelcoming service dampened our experience. Unfortunately we are taking this place off our special occasion list for sure.
It was fine
Dominick continues to out shine himself in offering daily specials. Had a cavetelli with chorizo and cannelloni beans. Had a sushi tuna with berry gastric which was unbelievable. Hector our server was outstanding as always.
Wonderful dinner with excellent food and service!
Love this restaurant! We've dined here many times, and the food is consistently delicious! My only complaint is that they never serve the pretzel encrusted pork chop nor the lobster bisque anymore! Those were my favorites!
Best food in the area. Book it! Thanks again
Always a fabulous meal. Very prompt with reservation timing.
The service was delightful, the selection was amazing and our choices were all outstanding. Lovely
Good local restaurant. New menu.
Our food was delicious. Service was a bit slow and it wasn’t that busy. As more tables filled it became very noisy. Dispite that I would definately go again.
Everything was amazing. My expectations were totally exceeded.
I have never been disappointed ! I bring different people there with me every time and everyone is always ecstatic about their experience. Service is always impeccable food is always beyond exceptional.
Best food, service and atmosphere. Our favorite and will become yours.
