Staff was friendly and all the food we had was delicious. And cooked just right.
Great service, varied menu, outstanding views!
Prices are reasonable
The restaurant was understaffed for the amount of customers. Waited 15 minutes before a waitress came over. Ordered appetizers immediately, one was soup which took 30 minutes. Needed to ask the host to have the waitress come over to take our main course order. All the tables around us were not cleared of food and dirty dishes after people left.
The food was very good and plentiful
Server was nice but overall service was slow
Beautiful view, menu is OK, it needs a little more options, especially for vegetarians. Nice drinks and ambiance. Bar was full.
The dining room was relatively quiet. We ordered pizzas that took a little time to come out. When they did, one was room temp and the other was warm. Ambiance and bar area were pretty cool.
The Sea Crest Beach Hotel was an amazing first experience! The General Manager and professional staff are impressive. The food and service at Red's was outstanding and I can't wait to return for another visit!
Very good food, courteous service. Very loud especially in the bar area.
We arrived and despite being confirmed on opentable the restaurant said didn’t have our reservation (and I could show them my confirmation on my phone). However we were lucky because they sat us right away anyway. It was a side beach view table which was nice. Service was very slow, and we didn’t seem to have a consistent waiter or staff member. Noone came to check on our meals which were quite slow to arrive. However our 6 year old was very hungry so we were eventually able to flag a person working at the restaurant down to bring us bread to hold him over. When the food eventually came it was pretty tasty so that was positive. I wasn’t happy with my cocktail but since no one came check on us my husband eventually went to ask for it to be fixed. All in all the poor service dampened our experience.
Steven our waiter arrived at our table and seemed distracted. Took our drink order then proceeded to attend to the table next to us which sat after us. He brought them table bread and waters before even providing us with the same. food was adequate at best. Ordered burgers, they were supposed to be medium but came well done. I decided to not send back since it had already been an hour from the time we sat to the time we got our food. At end of our dinner asked for 2 coffees, and that took him 20 min to bring to table, for our first time here it was not a good experience. Then on our check he indicated 3 coffee's when it was only 2, and only 2 people at our table.
Where to begin...we were told there was a half hour wait for a table. Half hour later, they had given away the table “by mistake” and we waited another half hour for one to open up. The food was cold, the manager who gave away the table couldn’t even offer us a drink while we waited an hour. We came for the view, the food is mediocre. We got neither as the sun had set by the time we sat down.
The view of the ocean and sunset was spectacular! I had the cheese burger and my sister ordered a salad with several add ons. Both meals were delicious.
Environment is gorgeous.
Food is awful. Service is slow and clueless. Convenience as a resort guest = only reason to go.
Service felt slow, but did the server was attentive and friendly. The food wasn’t bad or great, just good.
Everything was terrific! Food, service, and location was all wonderful!
Chowder was good.. very pricey for the amount of food. Service was great.
The service was awful!!! Our server was so rude and unprofessional. The food was so not as great as before. We got Asian chicken taco which was just lettuce, shredded bland chicken with kimchi slaw on top and that was it. No other seasoning. Kid’s pizza was literally frozen pizza you would get from supermarket. The restaurant needs to work on improving the quality and taste of their food and retrain staff members.
Food is not worth the visit. Pizza had little cheese and dull crust, strawberry salad came with walnuts instead of candies pecans. The dining room was freezing and AC was blasting even after our two requests to turn it down at 8pm. Views from the window tables are lovely, so there’s that. Service is fair at best, depending on which exchange student is assigned to your table. Many better choices for diners in Falmouth.
Saturday night, end of July, the place was jumping, indoors and outside. the view is perfect. there are few places in Falmouth on the water, and this is one to remember. Our reservation for three allowed us to pass the long line and go right to a table. Many many families. Hustling wait staff that remained personal even with a heavy load of customers. My guests loved the fish and chips, with sweet potato fries, and I loved the halibut. Grilled Octopus was good, but would have been better if served with a toast points, or grilled pita, so we could soak up the great sauce. Mixed drinks were very refreshing, a berry something and a mojito. Eager to return in the fall when it might be a bit quieter.
Staff at Red”s were not able to manage reservations properly. Had to wait a long time with other groups that also had reservations. After a long waiting time the waiting groups were placed in the breakfast lounge (not the restaurant).
Do not go to this restaurant in season if you do not have all the time in the world and are't picky about what's left for food. Apparently according to the hostess this manager does not regard reservations as real. I made a 6:30 reservation 2 days earlier. I arrived at 6:30 and was told it would be at least half and hour wait and they would call me. I went back half an hour later after no call and was told it would be at least another half an hour. Several other parties were having the same issue. The hostess did not know how to handle it and keep telling people they had a full menu in the bar and you could eat in there even though there was no openings in the bar. I logged onto open table at 7:00 and it would have allowed me to make a reservation for 7:00! When we were finally seated the waitress told us we better order right away and that she was in a rush to leave. They were out of my first couple of choices. Hopefully this place gets new management quick!
Seafood was good, but not the steaks.
Went to see the sunset and were able to be seated by the window by server France. Beautiful sunset!
Way too loud. Lots of kids and no sound insulation. We could hardly hear each other. We left early because of it.
Great food and wonderful service. Staff goes out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. They are so friendly and yet professional.
Good food. Vegetables were actually cooked well and delicious. Not an after thought like most restaurants.Beautiful view of the ocean. Fun to people watch and hear the music at the outdoor bar.
This is a very good restaurant. The views of the ocean are great, and the service is excellent. Also, the prices are very good for a hotel restaurant.
Food was great and the view is awesome!
We had a wonderful experience at Red's Restaurant and Lounge! We had a party of 10 ladies celebrating a bachelorette weekend in Cape Cod. They sat us in a private room and our waiter Andre was the best! He was accommodating, funny, sweet, and had a great personality. The food was delicious and the view of the sunset was beautiful!
Server was excellent, nice Beach view. Food was terrible, overcooked
The food was not as presented in the menu. The service was poor and the ambiance lacked attention for waterfront dining.
Very poor service. Wanted a second drink but the server didn’t come to check on us after he took our order for at least 40 minutes. Took over 30 minutes to get the check once we had asked for it.
The food is always delicious and the staff is very friendly. The view is unbelievable especially at sunset.
The food was just ok. The service was great, our server was very friendly and attentive. I understand it was a restaurant in a hotel on the Cape so a little more expensive than eating in town but the food, aside from the chowder, was a little lackluster. The quinoa salad was missing quinoa.
It was mother’s day weekend and they were so poorly staffed and poorly managed. They had one bartender for the restaurant as well as an event on site. It took FORTY FIVE minutes to get our drinks with our meal. Our waitress told us she was asked to stay from lunch because they were understaffed. No one cleared our plates for almost an hour. The food was ok but i had “poached carrots” as a side and they were literally raw. My husband’s appetizer came out at the same time as his meal as if it were a side dish. The bread was so tough it was as if it was 2 days old. The restaurant itself is on the beach and has a great view/decor but the service was awful and when we tried to speak to a manager he was quite useless. Everything was so disappointing as it was to celebrate mothers day for me and we had our 2 young children with us who can’t sit for a 90minute meal that should have taken under an hour.
We had a beautiful table over looking the ocean and beach...with a very friendly waiter..and our food was delicious! We waited a bit long at times...which would to me seem they maybe could have used another staff or two. But overall..very happy! Try the Cobb salad...it was truly delicious!!!!
Totally horrible experience... I made an online reservation at approximately 2 PM for a 6 o’clock dinner. I had requested a window seat, when we arrived we were told they were no window seats available but we could wait in the bar one would be available “soon “;45 minutes later our bartender went to find out what was keeping them from seating us and finally had to do it herself. The maître d’ didn’t seem to know what was going on, the waiter was aloof and not attentive. I ordered the Asian taco in my seat ordered a chicken Caesar salad, both were very dry and tasteless. The view and the female bartender were the only two good points about the entire evening. I wipuld give this place a zero star if it was possible. I will not be recommending this place to anyone, including my worst enemy.I will be posting this on numerous review sites
It was our first time there. The service was great the food was wonderful. Thank you for a nice dinner.
Dinner was lovely. Great views and wonderful service. Can not wait to go back!
