Like coming home to a delicious dinner. Benny and Louis are welcoming and kind. Always have big smiles. The food is amazing. I have something different each time. However, the pizza is the best in Rockford. Thank you Benny for always making me feel at home. Wendy R

Lovely setting; service was outstanding; food and drinks were excellent; the price was reasonable for the quality in fare, service and ambience.

As always Council Oak is a WONDERFUL DINING CHOICE!! From the Hostess to Servers & Assisting Staff, they are exceptional!! One is always made to feel like a Preferred guest, but treated like Family!! We were fortunate to have the exceptional Server, Amber; assisted by her GREAT Assistant, Adrienne (would be an Excellent Server)! While the Staff is great; the food is Exceptional in every way: quality is GREAT; preparation creative & divine…always something new to try!! This last time, we were treated to exceptional Escargot; hoping that stays on the Menu. Even deserts are great: made in house Gelato & Sorbet have fresh & irresistible flavors!

The food was very good as always. The gardens looked lovely.

Love this place! Always amazing food and drinks and dessert is a must !
