Delicious as usual! Fantastic Italian cuisine every time, service beyond compare.
A hole in the wall, unassuming, hearty Italian restaurant. The best one at the price and will definitely return again!
We love this place! Truly the best Italian food in the area. Service is friendly and efficient. They have one of the largest patios in the area. Decent wine list! highly recommend!
Rosemarino always a restaurant to go to for good food.
We have been customers since they opened and the service and quality have gotten worse.
On a Fathers Day Sunday evening the were understaffed with only one server and a busboy who did his best to help out. Our table was located directly next to an Uber Eats / Door Dash pickup station and we had to endure a steady stream of driver coming and going. Having their pickup station in the main dining room is not a good idea.
After the initial glass of wine we ordered was served, no one stopped by to ask if we would like another. I don’t blame the waitress who did her best in a situation where management should have had more help on duty.
Always delicious. Great price for a bottle of wine.
Amazing food. We ate outside on a perfect evening. Great service and friendly wait staff.
Wonderful dining experience, food and value. The service was outstanding from start to finish. I highly recommend the mixed seafood with spaghetti in white wine and garlic sauce.
Great food and service and accommodation!
Favorite neighborhood gem. Authentic and international mate. Food is great, atmosphere is wonderful, serve is superb! Especially loved the tiramisu treat for my daughter’s birthday.
Very tasty food with a very Italian authenticity. Best Italian in Alexandria!
A nice cozy place. The food is very tasty, and the staff is great. They took care of everything you could possibly want. Very attentive! Highly recommend you try this place!
The food was better than we expected. The quality and taste of it seemed more fitting for a more expensive, fancier Italian joint. The service was excellent too. This was our first time at Rosemarino d’Italia and we will be back for sure!
Always a plea Soto eat at Rosemarino.
Good food at a reasonable price. The service was very good.
Bruschetta was disgusting...not fresh tomatoes. It as like squeezed dried tomatoes on lousy bread..no flavor. The cannolis were tasteless and just ricotta cheese. The place was empty on a Saturday night. Chardonnay by the glass was disappointing..sweet..not oaky. Would not return!
Rosemarino d'Italia is a small, cozy and casual restaurant. We really enjoyed our food. The menu is extensive so we plan to go back again to try some of the other dishes.
Love this place. Amazing food and great service.
It was a great experience and the second time there this week. Delicious! Good service and very friendly, polite staff! Highly recommended and as an Italian the authenticity of the food and homemade pasta is comparable.
We love this restaurant. The service is excellent and the food is always delicious. However, this time there was a party of 14, who spoke so loud, we had to shout to be heard in our party of four. Not the restaurant’s fault, but not an especially fun time. We will go back, but will ask to be seated in a less crowded part of the dining room.
This is our favorite local Italian spot. All the dishes are delicious, service is great and it reminds us of Italian restaurants in New York where we grew up.
An outstanding neighborhood hole-in-the-wall Italian place where everything is a delight. She had the spaghetti and meatballs, I had linguine with sausage and peppers. We were treated like regulars though it was our first meal there. It won't be our last!
When i booked the reservation, i asked for a nice table since it was for our anniversary celebration. They paid attention! After our meal, they surprised us with a lovely dessert with the script "Happy Anniversary!" Very nice, personal touch. Great service.
This restaurant needs a redo of their decor. It would also be nice if they had a liquor license to serve hard liquor.
But the food is yummy old school Italian and worth every penny.
Small place, but great food! Will visit again next time we are here.
Great little restaurant - inside an house with a homey feel. Food is pretty good and a good value. Service could be a bit better, though.
A Christmas Eve visit to our neighborhood favorite-- delivering as always, good Italian American food. Extra busy on this night, and the service was attentive as usual, plus the prix fixe four course special was lovely!
Rosmarino has everything this Italian American could want in a neighborhood trattoria. Comfortable, cozy seating; tasteful but restrained decor; relaxed atmosphere; friendly, efficient service; excellent bread; delicious, garlic-rich and obviously house-made soup; plump, tender, tasty mussels in a savory broth. Reasonable price, including for bottles of wine -- try their Nero d'Avola! Overall, my Italian-born mother and two grandmothers -- fine cooks all -- would approve.
Rosemarino is a really cute neighborhood spot. The food was good, but it wasn't the best Italian food that I've had; that said, I'm very glad that we found this spot. We'll definitely be back when we need a comfortable and cozy evening with staff who make you feel very special.
Excellent food and excellent service!
The sauce in my Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken had the consistency of water. Another individual in our group ordered Linguini with a Pesto sauce because she was having a very difficult time hearing and understanding the host/waiter and this dish also very watery. The Eggplant Parmesan was extremely salty for another person in our group. The others at our table had the Chicken Parmesan and Spaghetti and Meatballs and they were very happy with those dishes. I have notice other reviews mentioning the Alfredo sauce, so I would avoid it and the Pesto.
Good atmosphere and great food!
Have dined here many times and this past visit was one of The tastiest. Amazing portions! The New York strip steak is delicious if you’re not in a pasta mood. Worth a visit on a cold night.
Service was good. Food was not bad at all. Calamari great! Garlic bread very rustic and not overly garlic. All the entrees were good portions and all were satisfied. Not cheap but not expensive. Small little restaurant that is certainly visit again.
Food was fine. I had the rockfish and I did not like it, but my husband did. That’s probably just my taste. The lobster bisque was very good and the desserts were fabulous - that tiramisu! The building and ambiance is not much to behold, but it offered a quiet corner for my date night, with good food.
Great food, friendly and efficient service. Lots of options for kids. My only recommendation for improvement is to turn down the music when the restaurant is not very crowded. I found it difficult to hear others in my party due to the volume of the music. Overall, great neighborhood Italian
The service was excellent and the food delicious! We shared a salad with avocado, tomato and homemade mozzarella with a balsamic vinaigrette that was incredible. Our entrees were equally wonderful! This is one of the few restaurants I have been to in the DC area that is quiet enough to have a conversation. So refreshing! And parking was a breeze! Love Rosemarino d'Italia!
Hands down one of my favorite places in Alexandria. Service is wonderful and food is consistently delicious, authentic, and perfectly portioned.
As a couple with no children we sometimes get annoyed by all the kids yelling and whining. Not the restaurant's fault at all. Just something to keep in mind if you are looking for a quiet dinner date. Parents should take better care.
It was OK, and not worth the price. I had the seafood risotto which was too rich and creamy, and not enough flavor. Kids had $6 noodles with butter that were overpriced.
