Soco Kitchen + Bar
We wanted roof top but there was a private event happening. Food was ok. We found it to be super salty. Would definitely go back but for the roof top. Different menu. Service was fabulous! We would still recommend.
Excellent!!! Loved the food!!!
Great place to eat before watching the game
Food was good. Portions on the smaller side and the service/ambiance are just OK.
We weren’t starving but needed a light meal before the show, so we shared the green salad and pepperoni pizza. Both were delicious! The honey drizzle on the pizza was a great twist to an otherwise traditional pizza.
The service was excellent.
We had been here as a company’s team, having a breakout from a conference. We got a nice table, and noise level was low, so the team could have a good chat. The waitress was very friendly and helpful on questions and order changes. The entire team was very satisfied with the food quality.
The food was amazing! Great prices for the quality!
We had a great experience at Soco and ended up eating there twice on a recent trip to Toronto. The food was excellent both times. My husband ordered the duck on our first visit, and I had the salmon. We ordered flatbreads on our second visit and they were wonderful. Good beer selection, and kid-friendly restaurant as well.
Initially planned to sit at roof bar which was far too hot (in the sun) and the music too loud (getting old I guess). Downstairs there are no booked tables outside but our friendly, helpful waitress found a table for us. Unfortunately even the friendly waitress couldn’t do much about the heavy delays on serving ordered drinks. If it hadn’t been for her, the score would be lower. Food was good though.
Great breakfast, and hot bartender!
Overall the foood was good, but it was too loud to have a business conversation. I will go somehwere more quiet in the future.
I’ve restaurant if you can seat down on the terrasse... Inside it is quite loud.
Very nice service.
I tried for the first time of my life a Mac’n cheese but this was too heavy.
Couldn’t finish my meal.
The pizza looked very delicious, next time I’ll try this.
Very good children’s menu.
Had an excellent roasted eggplant appetizer. Our mains were shrimp tagliatelle and a salad, both very good. Service was friendly and attentive. Seating is comfortable and reasonably spacious.
A nice selection of food but I was disappointed with my order. The mushroom soup wasn't hot and very salty. Grilled cheese sandwich was ok - very basic.
Fun for lunch- sat on patio. I originally booked for breakfast but they don't serve all day so I had to order lunch unfortunately.
It’s about the third or fourth time I have been to Soca. Ordered the tuna poke it was so salty I had to exchange it for the grain salad. The waitress did mention that they had recently change the ingredients
Horrible service. Server did not care about us at all. He was disrespectful and rude.
We had brunch. Food was good. The rooftop was my favourite part. I would definitely recommend.
The service was excellent. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the food was really quite good. I would definitely go back again.
We are at Soco prior to a concert at Scotia Arena June 25. The service and food are good, the issue we had was that we were seated by a large window in the corner with the afternoon sun. It was very hot and uncomfortable even with the shade down. When your paying a decent sum for dinner, the last thing you want is to have it ruined by running for the exit to cool down. That becomes the ONLY thing you remember about the experience.
Went here for a business lunch. I chose the place because of its location relative to the person I was meeting. It was pretty quiet. The food and service was ok. There was nothing particularly bad, but nothing stood out enough to make we want to go back unless I needed to have another meeting in a similar location.
Great outdoor patio and awesome location
Soco location is great, kitchen is good, quality is OK! Actually we wanted to reserve a table on the roof then it turned out no reservation was possible for the Soco roof through website. There is nothing written on the website about it. That was the only disappointment.
Really consistently good. I had the cauliflower steak - flavours were superb. 4 people all had a good meal. Will return.
I went for brunch and it was nice but I would have like to seen a larger selection of food. Definitely will have to try the rooftop patio next !
Food was underwhelming for the price they charge. I have never gone to a place where the tuna poke didn't come with rice (there was an additonal cost to add it on the side; also the dish came out quite watery as well). For the price it charged - portion was small compared to other DT restaurants that comes with rice and theirs is an entree. Service was okay? We were seated quickly and received our water; server never came back to check up on us until she came back to clear the plates and give us our bill. The noise level was high; couldn't carry a conversation without yelling almost. Probably wouldn't come back.
Late afternoon lunch. Happy hour limited drink and food specials. Fries are coated with parmesan cheese so ask for plain if you are not a fan. Burgers were outstanding . Would go back.
Walked out, because they said the high top tables at the bar cannot be guaranteed but was reserved for another group
The server we had was amazing. Very professional and thoughtful.
Lovely experience. Fresh, creative food. Our mushroom soup had a mushroom design on the top. Don't know how they did it. One of the best desserts of all time:chocolate and caramel presented in multiple forms. This out of towner is sorry it isn't in my neighborhood.
The food was wonderful but the service was a bit unattentive. The server also told me that the mac and cheese had a subtle blue cheese flavour but that was definitely not the case, the blue cheese was way too strong.
We were watching the Raptors game 6. They were very accommodating. Loved the food and drinks and ambience!
Went for brunch with a few colleagues and could not have been more impressed. Food was delicious and the service was great. Will be return customers!
Great place for a meal before the Blue Jays game...perfect location, good food, friendly service
The food was delicious and the service was great. Would definitely go there again. The only downside is how much sound carries, so when the restaurant has a lot of patrons it can become noisy.
Very tasty food at a good value. The entire table had different meals, compliments all around.
Cocktails are a bit pricey, but other drinks are a good value.
Really enjoyed the presentation of the food whether it was on a standard plate, or in a jar-like container that housed the cheesecake.
Definitely will be back!
Really great food! Can't wait to go back when the rooftop is open!
Great for a group team Lunch or event. Tasty food and good service. Portion a little small for price points. Example includes Cobb salad. But still delicious to eat
Too noisy. Hard to have conversation with friends.
Food is very good but a little noisy. Service started off great but once food was ordered it went down hill quickly. My friend ordered another beer and never got it. We asked for the bill and were told that dessert was being made (it was my birthday) and then was asked if they should cancel it. Too little too late.
