Ninfa's on Navigation
Quest was cold....
Ninfa’s is always a fun experience. Food and drink are spot-on, and servers are attentive. Already planning another visit!
It seems over the last few years the food is not as good as it used to bee
Had out of town visitors and this was the first place we stopped! Have to bring them here for their first meal of fajitas! They loved it! (no surprise!)
It wasn't what I was expecting on their food. We went the first time and the wait was one hour and a half. So then we left and next time we went we made a reservation, but the family food was not what I expected.
As usual, the best fajitas in town! Also love the queso, red sauce and chips! This was before the Rolling Stones concert - a margarita to get ready for Mick!
Very good service and food. So noisy we could not talk.
We had steak fajitas and shrimp Diablo. Both were excellent. Service was outstanding. And we ate outside on a rare comfortable night for Houston. The street festival and music was a big plus!
Best Tex-Mex food I have had in a long time. Just like I remembered from long ago.
We happened to be sitting next to a table of 22 people, so the noise was a distraction for most of our meal. The ceviche was a bit of a disappointment, as the red snapper was not cut into small pieces, rather long strands that were just not pleasant to look at--the shrimp was fine. I had the speaial--I think called the Chicken torta--it was okay, once I got rid of all the bread--which was more like a giant hambrger bun than what I expected--more like a tortilla. My husband's chile relleno was very good. I ordered $17 margaritas made from El Tesoro Reposada and they were quite good. Salsas were excellent!
All of our food was excellent margaritas are top-notch service was impeccable
Food was over cooked and very dry. Our time schedule did not permit staying longer for the four meals to be redone. Very disappointing as I had urged our friends to try Ninfas for their first visit.
Great place to eat before the game
Always crowded before an Astros game - but the food is always great! Our favorite Tex-Mex food in Houston. The shuttle to the Astros game is great. Always a winner!
Completely worth it- wonderful ambiance, food, serving size, and service!
Delicious food love the homemade quality. Brisket tamales are great. Margaritas could have been stonger and cheaper but still ok.
Great Tex-Mex. First choice in Houston!
The food never disappoints. Service isn’t the best in town, but the food definitely over comes it!
Great server, great food. Consistent for 40+ years of dining here.
This is a must-try restaurant when in Houston. The Shrimp Diablo is wonderfully seasoned, the skirt steak fajita moist and tender.
The best part about my meal was the chips and salsa. This is not the quality of food that I associate with my prior Ninfa's experiences.
The food was nothing more than overpriced fast food. We were visiting Houston in hopes of eating authentic Tex-Mex. the queso was melted velveeta cheese. Terrible.
Soooo many flies by our window table!!!! Slower than usual service before Astros game.
Amazing food. Delicious
We arrived with 11 instead of 8, so we had to wait 30 minutes for a table, but that is to be expected. We were given a very nice table in a room where the noise level was much better than the large room. The wait staff worked really hard to accommodate our large group and did a fabulous job. Our waitress was really gracious about requests to take photos in the midst of the crazy, hectic pace she had to keep.
Date night for Astros game
First dining experience out in Houston on a business trip. Absolutely loved it! I was seated right away on a Sunday evening. Got the mixta diablo and the house margarita at the recommendation of my server, who was friendly and helpful. Don't miss the hot sauce for a few cents extra.
Thought it was a cool place / environment and had decent food. The guacamole was a bit disappointing but the fajitas were good. We could have gone without.
Ninfa’s on Navigation is always great and this was no exception...cheers!
Delicious food! Great service! Would definitely reserve and visit again!
Very disappointing. We were a party of 5 and ordered the El Nopalito and Mixta Diablo. It was bad. All the meat was so overcooked and dried out, and I mean seriously overcooked. They forgot one of our plates of rice and beans and one plate of the guacamole/pico/sour cream. They did bring those 2 plates out for us. Our drinks weren't refilled when empty. On the other hand, we were there to celebrate a 62 year anniversary and a birthday. The waiter told me the restaurant would bring a sopapilla for the birthday but they don't celebrate anniversaries. I told them instead of bringing the sopapilla to the birthday girl to offer it to the anniversary couple since 62 years is impressive. The restaurant was gracious and ended up bringing 2 desserts, one for each occasion. Still, I have no intention of returning.
The room was too cold! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I told the restaurant it was for my friend’s birthday!
I asked for a piece of dessert or whatever is customary for a birthday. It was never even acknowledged! I was very disappointed! A dessert is not too much too ask! All restaurants at least acknowledge it or why even ask!
Have loved this place for 40 years, still the best.
This is completely average tex mex for $30/plate. Absolutely ridiculous.
The good was good, the menu interesting. A little pricier than I had anticipated. Service was very good, never had to wait for anything.
Always a great choice for Mexican food ! Love going here before a game or just when I am in town. Margaritas and Mole chicken enchiladas are outstanding.
Very tasty fajitas. Good service. Making a reservations helps get a table. And the shuttle to Minute Maid Park is a plus.
It was nice to visit Ninfa's since I had not been to one is many years (they closed the one in Austin). I also planned this visit to coincide with a Houston Astros ballgame since Ninfa's has a free shuttle! Great experience.
