Vitor's Bistro & Sushi Bar
It’s not the Vitor’s it used to be in Cheviot. Very disappointed. Service was slow and not sure why as there weren’t many people there. Wine list per glass—-small selection. Not worth the drive from Cincinnati.
Steak dinner was excellent, but three other people in our group felt their entrees were only acceptable (lamb, a chicken risotto dish, spring roll). Service by waiter was actually high point of meal experience.
Had a great date night at Vitor’s! My wife had sushi and I had the seafood pasta...both were great! Then we had beignets for dessert...awesome! Great environment and value!
Food was good. Very plain sterile dining room. Needs pictures and maybe some soft music.
Great food. Wonderful service but the noise level in the new addition was crazy. Too loud and most of the noise was coming from one table of four.
Excellent food, dining experience, service. The sushi is amazing.
We live in the area but had not tried it until Saturday. Ambiance is not great but the food & service was outstanding! They strongly encourage cash payment, so have cash with you. People at next table had monstrous gourmet hamburgers that looked delicious as well.
Our food was outstanding! Presentation was tops but more importantly, the taste was great.
Vitor’s is always fantastic. You won’t find better meal anywhere. Vitor and Heather welcome you as though you are in their own home. Best find in the tri-state area.
We love Vitor’s! We have never had a bad meal there! Chef is creative with his flavor choices and uses quality fresh ingredients! EXCELLENT FOOD...WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE every time!
Our server was excellent, sorry I cannot remember her name. Back room is tiny & quite noisy if there is a large group. Food was delicious. My husband had the catfish, I wish I had gotten that. My halibut was very good, but small portion & the fried rice & veggies was just ok. We will be back though.
We consider ourselves regulars at Vitors. They have been very consistent. Cocktails, apps and dinners have all been very good. Our server this time, Noel, was excellent. Very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. Give Vitors a try.
This place is a hidden gem
The chef’s table brunch is delicious. If you want to have something different than plain old bacon and cheese eggs I highly recommend Chef Vitor’s brunch!
Had a birthday celebration here. Very intimate table for 4. The food was amazing as always, the service was outstanding and just an overall perfect evening
This place is amazing!!! Super impressed with the quality of food here. Not to mention the selections are out of this world! We had an appetizer, Burnt Carrots...so off the wall but SO GOOD! Hats off the the Chef. This guy knows what he’s doing!
A must go to place. Delicious food and great service.
Excellent food in small, intimate setting. The two factors that kept me from giving it a better rating. Our server made frequent enough visits when we first got there. Unfortunately, after taking our order, we hardly saw him at all. Including bringing our bill. Second factor is the 20% gratuity added to your bill. Menu clearly states that a 20% gratuity will be added for large groups or special promotions. There was only 2 of us, so not a large group. What we were not made aware, until the bill came, is that there was a promotion on the wine we consumed, hence the automatic 20% gratuity. 20% is my normal tip when the service warrants it, but like I already mentioned, service was very slow for the second half of our visit.
My wife and I have been going to Vitors in Bright Indiana since they opened. We've probably dined there 8-10 times. We have nothing but positive things to say about the food and the menu. Some great selections, including sushi, always made to order. We have always had good service. Kind of a hidden gem really. The restaurant is in a converted residential home. Very cozy, and lends itself to meeting and talking with other diners in an open and friendly atmosphere. I'm thrilled that Vitors is now on OpenTable. I recommend you give it a try. We'll be back.
Food was good. Service was also pretty good. The tables were in an obvious addition to a house. Though the windows were covered with plastic, it was drafty/ chilly. Because it was a small area, we were subjected to the only other customer's entire loud dinner time conversation
When making a reservation, a notice was give that there were no tables avaialble for two weeks. When I was able to make a reservation and arrived, there were only four other diners there. The waitress said they were rarely crowded. I don't know what's wrong with the information supplied by Open Table.
The food is very good. Bring along your own bottle of wine as they have no bar.
Vitor's is a hidden gem. Once you eat the food, you will be back. His twists and tastes are incredible. I recommend you try it. Take your own beer or wince.
Super friendly and very attentive service.! Had the Chef's 5 Course Meal and all was very very tasty! And then our surprise entree was served by the chef himself! Nice touch!
The place looks nice. Atmosphere was good. I liked the restaurant but pur server was bad. She was short with us when we asked questions, acted annoyed. We could see all the other servers were really friendly and helpful but I probably wouldn't go back based on just that experience. The food was good but a little over priced in my opinion. They are $18 entree priced at $28. But it's the only "fine dining" in Cheviot.
I don't frequent Vitor's as often as I'd like but I will make it a goal of mone in 2015. This place is truly magnificent...
An excellent beginning to a great night with friends. We've figured out that, if we want to go out afterwards, the 5 course is about as much as we can handle...incredible dishes kept erupting from the kitchen with Chef Vitor visiting to describe the artwork displayed before us...pork dish was beyond delicious. Great job Chef Vitor's and staff!
Chef Vitor never ceases to amaze with his eclectic combinations of textures and flavors...it's rare that we order off the menu, more often than not giving up the decision making to the Chef off one of his 5 course dinners...bring your favorite wine and enjoy talking to the Chef about his latest creation!
My wife and I was looking for someplace different this was definitely not what we were looking for. First off when they called me to confirm my reservations they explained to me that this place was BYOB and if we wanted to bring our own bottle they would charge us $10, when we arrive we were not sure that we are even in the right place because it's an old decrepit house that somebody just try to convert into a restaurant. One piece of paper for their menu not much choice at all.
Vitor is an amazing chef and always makes us feel welcome. Food and service were both outstanding. Thanks for a great time.
