   The bar is small, the lobster bisque had an odd bitter aftertaste, the New York strip was tough with tendons. The salad was nothing special. Much prefer Volare. The service was not even close to Jeff Ruby’s. Jeff’s work as a team, they dress sharply, nothing remains empty or dirty on table for long but Ruth’s has sloppy uniforms with shirts that are not quality, empty or dirty remain on table, and the food was merely ok to bad.

   We have always loved coming to Ruth’s Chris. It’s a treat. We were all 6 very disappointed in the clothing that people were wearing. I saw people wearing jogging suits, jeans & flannel tops just to name a few. Women in crop tops too. We read your dress code & it says these clothes are not acceptable at Ruth’s Chris. We felt like the experience was not at the same because of the clothes that people were wearing. Trust me, if this continues, it won’t be a special experience & people will go elsewhere.

   I ordered the ribeye steak it wasn’t seasoning well and the wedges salad didn’t have tomatoes and the bacon wasn’t cooked properly. The cocktails was great.The salmon was over cooked and was mushy.

    Ruth’s Chris Restaurant has never disappointed. It’s our only choice to celebrate our birthdays. The tables are too close together so loud talking and laughter are very annoying.

    Went to celebrate a big birthday. Service was prompt, friendly, accommodating. The birthday boy felt special. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Sides were fine yet over priced. Honestly, it is just so, so expensive for what you get. Nothing on the menu is exciting or adventurous, but it is delicious. Would rather eat at an independent restaurant.

    The food was not hot warm to the touch and best. The quality of the food was below Ruth Chris standards. After going to Ruth Chris for over 15 years all over the United States this was the most disappointing one.

    Absolutely incredible food and very pleased with portions, etc. However our service was very slow and did not feel like we were given the attention as other tables were. The server seem to engage in personal conversations with other tables while neglecting the needs of ours multiple times. It was a very drawn out evening and we had driven two hours so it made it incredibly late getting home. Overall experience was great but displeased with the service and the slowness.

    I took my family to celebrate my promotion. I understand I had two middle aged children (super well behaved) , but was sat closest to the kitchen. I get it, still wasn’t great. Food was good, no complaints there. The server was the biggest issue. He avoided eye contact a lot even when he knew he needed to stop by. At one point our table was overflowing with dishes, no one had and water & we were trying to order even more additions. We did not go cheap on anything just because we had kids…. The food runners and supporting servers were great, we had to ask them for things. To sum it up: food was above average as it should be, I overlook sitting next to the kitchen (I get it), we were 4:45 to equate for kids, server missed out on at least another 50-100 in sales, couldn’t get water/drinks when we needed it & took 2.5 hours to complete. When paying 5 bills that just shouldn’t happen. We had our fun, likely won’t be returning. Btw-I still tipped 20%

    We got seated in an empty room right next to another couple's table. They should have given us more space, more privacy.

    Frequent this location for years. But Service is awful here. Had to ask for everything including drink refills etc. Food over cooked. Server never offered to correct. Bad bad. Much better choices in Louisville area.

    9:00 pm reservations, finally seated at 10:00, had to flag down waiter to take our order at 10:30, two of our three couples left in frustration at 11:30 with still no food. We stayed just to see if food would ever arrive-it finally came at 11:45, TWO HOURS AND FORTY FIVE MINUTES AFTER OUR RESERVATION! To top it all off, steak ordered medium rare came well done and inedible. Our guests said their previous two visits were almost as bad. You couldn’t drag me back into that place for free drinks and food. Literally worst dining experience of my life.

    Overall the food was great as usual. The only complaint I have is the amount of time we waited. I had an 830 reservation, but we didn’t get seated until around 9. It also took a while to get our food. We didn’t get our food until about 1015. We are usually in and out of there in about an hour and half for just two people but last night ended up being over 3 hours.

    Happy with our meal for the most part. The ceaser salad and sides (au gratin potatoes and honey bacon brussel sprouts) were very good although the brussel sprouts had very little honey taste and could’ve been a little sweeter. Our two 4oz filet medallions were ordered medium but came out on the high side of medium-well. The steak came with 6 grilled shrimp which were very good.

    I’ve been to Ruth Chris several times and this is the first time i’ve had a less than satisfactory experience as it pertains to the food. We ordered the Petite Filet and Sea Bass. The Filet was slightly overcooked and a bit tough. The Bass was undercooked and had a raw section in the middle. The service was outstanding and items ordered arrived in a timely fashion. I expect so much more from the quality of the food, given the premium cost. This unfortunately gives me pause to return.

    It was my 1st time going and I decided to spend my 43rd birthday there. It was a very nice looking restaurant, nice ambience, and beautiful views. My family and I all enjoyed our meal there. It was their first time as well. I tried the jumbo crab cakes, my son had the sea bass, my daughter had the king salmon with shrimp, we shared lobster mac & cheese, creamed spinach, au gratin potatoes. For dessert I had bread pudding it was Delicious! We'll definitely be back!
