As always my experience is top notch!
Loved our evening! Yesterday was my husband’s 75th birthday. Our filets were cooked to perfection, our sides were great, and dessert was served on a Happy Birthday plate. We have never been to this specific Ruth’s Chris, and asking about the history of the building our waiter (Rick) could not have been more interesting to talk with… Five stars!
My favorite place to get a Lobster cooked just right.
I know it's a steak house, and my favorite is New York rare.
I'm well traveled and have been to many steakhouses around the world. I go to this Ruth Chris near my home because it's the best.
Birthday was nice.
Outstanding as always. Lindsay the bartender is the best. We always try to sit in her area so she can wait on us. Her and Kelly keep us coming back.
Restaurant was beautiful. Staff was excellent. Food was delicious & our server Laura was outstanding.
It’s ok- but I left feeling I received less than I paid for.
Food and service is a consistently excellent. The Ocean City restaurant is a beautiful location, from it’s history as a stable to the views on a golf course.
Very good. One of our favorites.
This is a wonderful venue built in an old horse stable that actually housed Man of War and War Admiral
Arrived for 5;45 reservation with 4 adults and an 11 yr old. Promptly seated, water poured and Laura arrived to introduce herself. She was also very attentive to my granddaughter. We ordered drinks and wine. Laura had to substitute a wine we ordered. Substitute tasted great.
Placed orders for salads, entrees and sides. Salads arrived shortly and when we were done the entrees came nice n hot, perfectly cooked.
No need for dessert except the anniversary celebrants.
It was amazing. We have been to Ruth Chris in Berlin Md many times and this was the very best birthday ever since there was not one negative only positives the whole evening
Celebrating a milestone Birthday
what a shame. it is hard not to feel for Nick and Spencer our servers. if i had to deliver the food that came out of this kitchen, i’d just go get a job a Denny’s. at least there would be enough business to make a living.
appetizers: from the “Chef Selections” no less, tomatoes that looked like mealy light pink bicycle tires. the core and stem still on one of the slices. topped with a scattering of red onion that looked like an afterthought. all was topped with roughly a teaspoon of “blue cheese” crumbles.
second app was a dinner salad that appeared to have been gathered from the bottom of Chef’s guinea pig cage.
tomahawk ribeye, wish it tasted as good as it looked on before hitting the table. i can rave about the bone and i will leave it there.
bone in 16.oz filet. meh…if the steak had a personality, it would be embarrassed to have to share a plate with any other part of this meal
sides: canned? Cremini mushroom served in a soup of buttery substance
top it all off with au gratin potatoes that were little more than diner style home fries topped with shredded cheddar cheese.
saving grace? the bartender made a respectable cocktail so the pain of paying for this truly disappointing meal was not felt until the next day.
servers and floor manager were just fine. couldn’t punish them for the performance of the kitchen.
Chef, GM and Purchasing manager should consider driving the beer cart out on the golf course because there is no fixing what is wrong here
Another great dining experience. Had to get an early table as later times we’re booked, so likely help with noise level as the dining room was not full. Excellent service from Michal, who asked how we would like our servings to proceed (rather than assuming as some servers will) and executed to perfection. Cocktails are always creative and generous. Crab stack and seared tuna appetizers were excellent. Entrees, including one steak Eastern Shore style with Old Bay and lump crabmeat was an interesting change. Only area for improvement is the bread selection; while the rolls are fresh they aren’t anything special. For a Ruth’s location that exceeds expectations in every other manner, some signature bread selection would be a welcome add. With that one minor issue aside, an excellent dinner.
July 4th experience regrettable. Perhaps it is new management. Way below standards for Ruth Chris and Glen Riddle. Hope this is a one time episode but very concerned as this is one of our regular places
Family Dinner - good food, nice atmosphere
It's was our 30 Th wedding anniversary and it was excellent! Definitely a great place for a perfect evening.
Excellent steak but very pricey. Our server, Laura, was terrific!
First time visiting this restaurant in this location. Food was very good along with the service. However there we’re some very LOUD and DISRUPTIVE golfers disrupting the dining experience.
We celebrated my husband’s birthday here this year. We ordered the cowboy ribeye, barbecued shrimps, lobster mac and cheese, creamed spinach, and steakhouse martinis. The steak was slightly overcooked, closer to medium or medium well than medium rare, but everything else was really good. We were especially pleasantly surprised how much of the lobster mac and cheese and creamed spinach my son, a picky preschooler, ate. Our server Sam was also great. The dining room did smell a bit moldy, and the table we were at were a bit too dark for my liking.
Do not let the cost scare you away. This is an experience that is like no other. It will WOW you and that should make you smile !
Beautiful and historic setting. Food quality is the highest in the area and service is excellent. Prices are high but in the end worth every penny.
It is always a special experience to visit Ruth’s Chris. Overall it was a very nice dinner, with one glitch. The staff handled it very well and could not have been nicer. It is very expensive, but once in a while, it is worth it if you can afford it.
Everything was perfect… our server went above and beyond to make our dinner amazing !
Our server, Laura, was excellent. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary and her service could not have been better.
Wonderful meal! The lobster was exceptional! This location has such an interesting atmosphere being the old horse stable and paddock. Really cool artwork and history. A definite must-do if you are looking for an elegant evening in Ocean City.
Excellent service and food…. as always
Great meal great service. Gabe our server was very good.
There were bumps in the road... at first, hostess went to seat us in a room with two large parties instead of in the dining room. I understand needing to spread diners out/wait staff... but why would you put a party of three in with 2 other parties of 12+? Their initial remedy was to seat us in the bar?!? Finally, got a space in the dining room.
Romaine lettuce in the salad was brown - sent back. Two steaks were improperly cooked. Sent back. Needed to ask for the sides to be redone (as needed to wait for new steaks).
So - why a four star review. Even with these bumps - the waiter was pleasant and professional. The manager came over to make sure everything was right. And when it all finally got sorted and done correctly (as it should have been the first time) the food was delicious.
Unfortunate that the front desk and the kitchen let down the rest of their team, otherwise it would have been an exceptional dinner. But kudos to the wait staff and the manager for doing everything in their control to get things right.
I’ve been to many Ruth’s Christ over the years but this location is one of my favorites. Great building, great food, but even better service. Best restaurant in Ocean City area.
We had a pleasant meal with excellent wait staff.
Food was not good. Ordered Jumbo shrimp, received small shrimp. Food was not hot. Presentation was not good. This Ruth Chris did not live up to it’s name. Total disappointment. Will not return.
Service was impeccable and the food and atmosphere inviting, hospitable and relaxing. Highly recommend.
We went there for our 20th wedding anniversary. The dinner was amazing. Excellent service and menu.
This was one of our few disappointments with this or any Ruth's Chris. The bread was not warm on serving. Our crab cake appetizer was great. The Harvest salad was very delayed and we were not finished when our entre arrived. We had the Porterhouse for two cooked medium rare. While the plate was hot, the butter they put on top of the steak did not melt. The steak was overcooked. It was obvious that they had delayed our steak service due to the delayed salad service. I have eaten at Ruth's Chris at least a hundred times over the years and this has never happened.
Food was well prepared and everything tasted very good. The food came out fast as the staff didn’t wait for us to finish our appetizers before bringing out the main course. Our table was cluttered with the remaining appetizers, our appetizer plates and now the dinners and sides, this was poorly done. I typically do not complain to food servers as I am always nervous, I believe that the person whom brought out the dinners was the manager.
The staff at this location is not well trained and needs to be better.
Ordered several sides and 3 rib eyes. Waitress comes back and tells us they are out of sides we make a substitution. A few minutes later comes back and tells us they only have two steaks and we upgraded one to a cowboy ribeye. Waitress says because of the issues she is going to take care of dessert. Bill comes in they did not remove the desert and she’s tells us they only were taking care of one but none were removed. Ask for a menu several times she would never bring them
