The food was good, the hostess was great she was very welcoming, but that particular day there was a lot of gnats flying around, it was very annoying trying to eat and swat the gnats away, we told the waiter but he seemed to not care
Great experience…It was a nice ambiance..and my father and boyfriend enjoyed their evening for Father’s Day
This was my first time going to Ruth Chris Steak House. I came here for my birthday dinner after the baseball game. The food was excellent and are hostess Tammy was very courtesy and polite. Will definitely return again.
We made a reservation though Open Table for 7:45pm and choose a standard table (could have chose bar as well). When we got there they proceeded to walk us out of the restaurant into a room that i believe they use for corporate events and sat us there. The radio was the music. We basically were in the overflow room because they overbooked the restaurant? I'm not sure but it was so offensive, I was not going there to pay over $300 for our anniversary dinner to be banished to some room that wasn't even the restaurant. They should really tell people that before they come for their reservation. I would have happily gone somewhere else. When the hostess sat us she proceeds to ask "are you a father?"...well no actually we have been walking through a lot of loss and don't need to be reminded of that when we are celebrating our anniversary. She could have easily said Happy Fathers day and just walked away. You don't know what people are walking through and we found it so insensitive. The wine is overpriced and the menu is so outdated. My husbands steak was overcooked and the Brussel sprouts were undercooked. The one redeeming factor was that they brought us a free petite cheesecake as dessert to celebrate out anniversary. I will not be dining at this restaurant in the future.
The staff was awesome. I brought my dad for Father’s Day. They accommodated my special request for a convenient seat due to my father needing some assistance. The food was excellent. I find that this location’s atmosphere is a bit too casual for the cost of the meal, but that is beyond the control of the restaurant to some extent. Spending lots of money on dinner with people wearing tshirts and shorts and children making noise- the food and the experience don’t quite jive. Again, not the restaurant’s fault just an observation. I miss the days of jackets required!
Everything was great, until the waitress forgot to order our dinner. We left without eating dinner.
I had dinner in the bar. They were busy so service was a little slow. I was annoyed when they brought my entree about 2 minutes after delivering my starter. They were nice and took it back until I was ready but that’s a big pet peeve of mine.
The only other thing that was weird is they have bar chips but they won’t give you your own dish of them. They are like community bar chips? Wtf who wants to share that with strangers at a bar in this day and age? Just give people their own dish. Especially if they ask for it. Anyway, I didn’t have any bar chips. Dumb.
Food was great as always.
Our waitress was in training, but nonetheless, the service was excellent as was she. There were some rather loud (on FaceTime the entire meal) and inappropriately patrons. But, we tuned them out and enjoyed our meal and dining experience. In this day and age, I understand that handling these kinds of situations with patrons can be a delicate matter and sometimes it’s best to leave well enough alone. Still enjoyed our dinner and celebratory occasion.
Treated my husband for his birthday and decided to go somewhere nice since he makes every effort to wine and dine me any chance we get. It was very nice and there were several others there celebrating birthdays as well. The server and bus boy were so kind and attentive, in fact every staff member we came in contact with were professional and courteous. The food was ok, and I mean ok in the best way. It didn’t hit the pallet the way the bill hit my account but it was good. They gave him a nice birthday dessert which was nice and made my baby feel special. Overall all it was a lovely evening with my hubby. Would I go back?........ Maybe not that particular location but Ruth Chris in general, possibly.
Disorganized service. Plus the host at the front was on a personal phone call and made us wait until she was done to seat us. Really unacceptable.
We have eaten at Ruth's Chris at many US locations. All have been great. Baltimore at the inner harbor more than lives up to those standards. A wonderful place to further celebrate our grandson's graduation.
food was great!!!
What can you say. Great food, great service. Fantastic ambiance. Great birthday celebration.
Family gathering!! Amazing food and service!!❤️❤️
Was alright. Food was good but wasn’t cooked perfectly. Didn’t have a lot of the stuff on menu, including bottled beers. Few errors from the kitchen but made up for it. Ambiance was nice and service was great and not crowded at all. Would come back.
Me And My Girlfriend Had A Wonderful Time. The Food Was Amazing, The Drinks Were Even Better! I Highly Recommend!
Hostess seems to not know what to do once we showed up for reservation . Waiting for commands to be given, seating was unassisted, presentation on menus was without purpose, though functional lacked training. Lamb was wonderful, fillet was wrong temperature, this is a steakhouse?! Good meal, over priced, albeit this is Ruth Chris, in general what separates good from great wasn’t there tonight
Andrea was our waitress and delivered exceptional service. The food was nothing less then amazing. The whole experience was wonderful.
The room we were in really lacked ambiance. It looks like it's used as an event room but needs work as a high-end restaurant room.
Everything was phenomenal from the beginning to end. For and Service was amazing. Can’t wait to go back !
Horrible Experience !!!! We Sat down and had no service ! Ordered two drinks and they never came ! After an hour we got up and left ! Don’t go to this place ! Much better restaurants in Harbor East ! Horrible Horrible Horrible!
Me and my wife
Everything was amazing I really enjoy my Mothers Day dinner. The lamb chops were delicious.
When I made my Mother's Day reservations online, Ruth Chris was offering a Mother's Day 3 course meal; however when we showed up, it was no longer being offered. Also, the steak was cold at various points of cutting into it. Finally, I've eating there many times and this was the first time that they added gratuity to my bill with a party of 5 or less. I normally tip 20% or more, but because of this I only tipped at the rate they provided. Overall, very disappointing during this occasion.
Atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. Food did take awhile to come out though. I had the lamb chops they were delicious and the lobster Mac and cheese was to die for.
