Ruth's Chris Steak House - Ponte Vedra Beach

As always, absolutely fantastic and delicious. In fact, I'm going again tonight with my two daughters and one of the daughters' boyfriends.

Steak was ruined. Ordered Medium Rare NY Strip and it was charred black Med-Well when it came out and Well-Done by the time I was 1/3 into it (sizzling plate is nice touch but keeps cooking the steak...not good when too far gone at the start...). Was celebrating with others and the prospect of sending it back and everyone waiting to finish or having to catch-up when replacement came out is not practical. This was my first visit to this location and will be my last. Disappointing as it is so close to home.

It never disappoints. It is expensive but very consistent. Not something we do weekly but once per month is nice. They do have tables that are closed due to covid-19, which it ridiculous.

Drew was our wonderful server as usual.

The service was great. Our only complaint is they removed their fire roasted corn. Restaurants too often only offer greens such as broccoli, asparagus and spinach but not everyone eats greens. They need to keep an alternative on the menu. They offer on occasion a creamed corn but that wasn’t available either.

As always another good meal. I still wish the side item menu would be upgraded. The cheesecake was so good had to get a 2nd one to go.

Food was good. Lobster on the lobster Mac and cheese seemed like fake lobster. Almost like store bought imitation crab meat. Service was worse than terrible, the amount of time it took to get our check and to pay we were over it all together. Food was way better than last years anniversary at chophouse 13 but service there was by far better. Will try the downtown location but would rather not visit the pointe vedra location again !

Service was great but food was lacking. Noise level was very loud and might have been appropriate for manager to ask one table to keep it down a bit.

Ron is phenomenal. Each visit we enjoy him more than the last!

Have never had a bad meal or experience at Ruth's Chris. Gave us a secluded table on a busy New Year's Eve night. Service was excellent and really added a personal touch.

We had a delicious meal and great service. The only reason I took off a star is for my husbands filet was good well done and he ordered medium. We had to wait 35 minutes past our reservation, but this was not a surprise for it being NYE. Otherwise we had an awesome experience!

We split the T-Bone and one side. Very good. Service was great! One of our favorite places to go for steak.

Great food...better company!

First off, would like to say that we love Ruth’s in general and have been to stores across the US. As frequent customers what keeps us returning is the consistency and knowing we will have a great experience and occasionally be blown away ! This visit the filet I ordered was honestly just average. I didn’t feel it met the normal standard I’m used to. It was rather thin cut and med rare temp didn’t extend through the steak but only the very center. The was the only issue with the visit but since Standard is high, and its the feature of the dinner, worth noting

Excellent service, great food & fantastic American wine list (could use a few more old world selections).

It’s Christmas and they were out of wine. You should have make sure at least one day a year you have all wines on your menu offered. Steak was under cooked twice. Service was slow.

Limited vegetables; every steakhouse should have some kind of mushrooms and asparagus, at a minimum.

We have not been to Ruth Chris in awhile, and we left asking ourselves why. Our food was outstanding, the ambience was relaxing and elegant, and the staff was excellent. I cannot say enough about how enjoyable our Christmas dinner was. We were unable to travel to be with family, and this experience made things so much better. Thank you so much. We will be returning very soon to celebrate our 35th anniversary.

We had an excellent meal in every regard. Everyone who helped us was amazing, our server, the person who brought the meal, the person who boxed the left overs. It was a very pleasant experience. We just moved to the area; it is now our new favorite spot to dine.

Always nice dinner and experience. Love the fact that we can always count on great food.

Christmas Eve

Always wonderful! Melissa our waitress was amazing and the food never disappoints!

ok but you took the Lyonized Potatoes off the menu😫

Showed up at 7:45 for our 8pm reservation. Didn’t get sat until 8:40. Bathrooms were a mess. Couldn’t even get a drink while waiting an hour because of “Covid” but no problem cramming tons of people into a tiny waiting area. Love Ruth’s but will take a break from the PV location.

Out of a lot food. Cold steak. Overcooked steak.

We come to Ruth Chris every year at Christmas. Unfortunately we had the same experience as last year. One meal was perfect and the other not so much. Very inconsistent. My husbands steak was not center cut as we asked for and it was not cooked how we requested. It was an odd cut of meat and rare vs. medium. This happens to him every time we come. Very disappointing for a $200+ meal.

Everything about the experience was great; from the service to the food. Look forward to my next visit.

Celebrating the holidays and the food and service never disappoint.

We have always enjoyed Ruth’s Chris. Quality of food is consistently good. This location is looking a bit tired. Ambiance could be better. It seems as though there has been a price increase across the board, from wine, to sides to entrees. We are used to a big ticket meal but everyone in our party was talking about the increases prices.

Great dinner, had the Surf and Turf with two lobster tails and steak. Great drinks and awesome customer service. We will be back

Our Server was distinguished and knowledgeable about the menu items. Although we visited before, it was worth listening to what he had to say!!! Food was delicious. One thing though, my Wife ordered Lobster Bisque Soup that had came out cold!!! Mines was hotter than hers. You could literally tell the difference. Our Server was able to resolve this issue quickly as possible and I was thankful for that service!
