   As it was a busy night (surprising for a weekday), we got placed in the room for overflow and large bookings, which is a lot less nice than the main room. If the main room looks and feels like a fine dining restaurant, the overflow room is an old warehouse (I am not complaining about the beautiful brick and massive wooden beams, it's just that there is no decor and the lighting is bad). Service was friendly, but sporadic, especially at the end when we needed the bill. Scallops were overdone, as were my friend's vegetables. The white wine recommended to me was a feeble companion to my fish. This was my first time trying risotto and it was absolutely to die for! The halibut was delicious. The pork cheek surprised us wonderfully, so tender and lean. The mashed potatoes that it came with were oversalted, but I have never seen restaurant or catered mashed potatoes not oversalted. In general the food is great, but if Sabor wishes to continue charging the prices that it is, some improvements should be made.

   Lovers of seafood and I have to say, and we’ve eaten a lot of places on the coast, the seafood platter was spectacular. Like melt in your mouth amazing. Richard, our server, was great too. Can’t remember the other guys name (did the wine menu) was great and provided perfect recommendations for pairings, etc. We will be back.

    It was a wonderful experience, a pre-dinner for us. We expect similar dining in the coming weeks as we will be traveling to Las Vegas. Service was slow but expected as it was a full dining room. Food was exquisite and fulfilling.

    We shared a paella, which was excellent- lots of tasty seafood. The mussels with Portuguese bread was perfect. The staff were friendly and attentive.

    HAD A FANTASTIC ANNIVERSARY DINNER FOOD WAS PERFECT OUR SERVER, KIM, WAS BRILLIANT ASKED HER TO PAIR EACH COURSE WITH WINE FOR US AND WE WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THE WAY THE PAIRINGS COMPLEMENTED THE FOOD. SHE WAS ALWAYS ON TOP OF THINGS, THE CONSUMMATE PROFESSIONAL. BAR IS ALWAYS SET HIGH AND ACHIEVED BY EVERYONE THERE. GO AND ENJOY THIS GEM FOR YOURSELF

    The food was wonderful but it would have been nice if there was some recognition of the fact that we were celebrating a special event, which was stated in our reservation, and if we didn’t end up waiting almost two hours for our main courses. A party of four should not take two hours to wait for seafood, unless you were actually catching the fish at the time. Not sure if this was a server problem, a kitchen problem, or an expo problem but it seems to be a problem. Especially obvious when we were pretty much in the center of the restaurant. That said, the food was wonderful.

    Great food at a reasonable price. Waiters were very personable and offered expertise advise on food and drink menu. Complimentary glass of port for our Anniversary. Lovely evening.

    We celebrated my birthday at Sabor. Our Server was attentive but not intrusive. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. We had leftovers enough for the next day. We love the atmosphere.

    The noise level was so great that it was very difficult to carry on a conversation with the person sitting with you. Why the drum of “music” that persisted through the noise and did a great deal to increase the volume of all others trying to converse with their table mates even exists is beyond my understanding.

    Lino outdid himself! Took a grouo of friends out and instead of ordering from the outstanding Sabor menu Lino offered to FEED US which means a great offering of Sabor favorites with the Chef putting his spin on some others. Our guests were so happy we suggested Sabor, which is our favorite place to dine in Edmonton. Left full and content. Wish we too pictures.

    Good resturant for sharing items and variety of choices. It was busy but our service was timely and attentative. Everything seemed very fresh and arrived hot straight from the kitchen.

    Celebrated our anniversary. No acknowledgment of that from our reservation notes. Was a busy night with many large tables. Our service felt impersonal. Food was good- we ordered the seafood family dinner for two. Desert trio was the best.

    Had a great time. Food is simply delectable, everything tasted awesome. Just the pon con Chorizo was a tab bit burnt on one end but still didn't dampen the experience. Service was excellent. Loved it, will definitely go back and will recommend

    We tried this restaurant for the first time to celebrate our daughter's Convocation from the University of Alberta. Everything was pretty much perfect from start to finish... drinks, food, atmosphere, service. All very good. Great choice!

    Exceptional Service. Delicious & beautifully presented food. Love the interior decor & ambience. Only thing to note is if you’re dining later than 10pm on a Friday night, you may hear the music & feel vibrations from the dance club underneath. It didn’t really phase us but perhaps something to consider for other couples/diners

    One of our favourite restaurants that we’ve been frequenting for years. Unfortunately last night was quite the disappointment. We waited over 1.5 hours for our food and everything was extremely over seasoned. Our server Corey was fantastic - hoping this was just a one-off.

    I took my girlfriend out for her birthday dinner and it was fantastic! The service was amazing by our server Matt, he answered all of our questions and was very attentive. Our food came out fast, was a great experience!
